I just got a Mazda 3 with the manual transmission the other day and I’m loving it!
I drove a mazda 3 when they came out and it rocked. Drove like a fast sports car if you wanted to. It has enough power and it handles well. Of course you aren't going to drag race with it stock but it goes with one or 2 people in it quite well. It's certainly not as zoom zoom as the older ones but it does handle well at higher speeds.
I will be driving soon so I’m going through all different kinds of cars to see what I like most! I’m liking this one so far! Hoping to get this one maybe 🤍
we are in the same boat
same !!
Picked one up last October, got the 2.5 hatchback only 70k on it, so far loving it
Just traded mine in which was my first car that I got 7 years ago. Fun to drive for what it is and handles surprisingly well around corners. Doesn't have that much power but the steering feels great and makes up for it.
Damn I still have my Mazda 3 and it’s also my first car. I love it so much I’m going to drive it until my wheels fall off !
That's a fair review. Good points for both the pros and cons. Even the opinions seemed logical. I bought 1 yesterday and so far I've enjoyed it. Nothing fancy, but also not built cheap either. Though I am missing a window button 😅
yeah its kinda weird that it have only one seat pocket, but on other hand i understand they put it on a passanger seat. i use these things pretty rarely in general, but if i do, then i use the passanger one. its much easyer to reach it when you sit in the driver seat ;).
You do the best reviews hommie
I have this car , black with blackened widows, nice wheels. It looks awesome, ( is now 2021).
It has way more spunk than anything else in its class.
how did it drive?
i’m about to buy one and want to know if it can get speed and run good
@@keonabarnwell895 My Mazda 3 is a 2010 and it runs great, have had it for years and it’s never had any problems. It has a lot of power ( more than a little car like that needs), probably twice that of a Nissan Sentra, or Honda Civic. There aren’t lying in the commercials when they say Zoom Zoom, they have “ Spunk”. Awesome little cars.....
would you recommend it as a first car?
@@The_One_Above_All Yes they are very fast off the line, lots of torque, they go through the gears nicely and the power never bogs down, ( with an Automatic Transmission). Unlike a Sentra or Civic , especially going up hills . My previous car to this was a Sentra and more often than not, going up a hill I’d be saying “ Come on, you can do it”.
Still have my Mazda 3 (I have a sunroof too) I love this car so much 🥹
no outside tour? no 0-60? no corner slamming?
good review sir!
great video man !
nice video , saludos desde mexico
How about the reliability for it and the cost to repair it?
Having owned the 2008 mazdaspeed3 and 3 i 07, the second gen mazda3 lacks the driving nimbleness.
Still worth it, way less road noise/ better temp insualtion.
MPG’s?
Boyyy you wearin the same shirt
I’m a new driver and looking to get this
2:53
Mazda decided to do that because kids oftentimes pull that shit or put toys in there and disturb the driver which could irritate the driver and maybe cause an accident
Interesting, I've always thought that it's to make it easier for the driver to reach the pocket if they need to grab something out of it.
Says 160 on the dash step onit 🤣🤣 but yeah looks like a cool little car tho 😁👍 thanks for the vid
As an owner of this car i want to add one thing. It's reliable but i DONT recommend using the manual mode since I believe from my own and others experience that it messes with the TCM and makes the TCM go bad faster. Not a big deal though but still you dont wanna go through it.
The rear passenger pocket is for the driver to tuck away its front window shade when not in use if it has one, yet everyone should have one and use one! At least that how I use it! So no need to have one behind the driver's seat! lol
Looking to buy my first car for decently cheap but I’d rather not drive a shitbox, would you recommend this car?
Same position as you rn, I would say the way car prices are rn I'm definitely considering the 3 over a civic or a Corolla
I do not want anything to do with Ford parts, I was thinking about buying this exact car used with 121,000 miles on it, thank you for the advice.
Mazda stopped using ford parts in 2012 so ur good for anything past 2012
does this model have problem with water in the trunk like the 2014 model?
Mine doesn't.
I've got one just like this except with no sunroof and it has 9,000 original miles.
Update it's about to hit 11,000 miles now. I don't drive much lol
And now it has almost 14,000
@@Krzrrazrrokr How much did it cost?
Avinash Prabhakar I bought it brand new back in 2010 for like $19,000
@@Krzrrazrrokr you still love it? I still love mine 2.5 GT.
It looks like an astra g mk4 interior with a nicer dashboard.
I have this car. Last year before they moved all production to Mexico. I'm glad I didn't get a 2011. Other than wheel bearing issues and a really thin sheet metal body that dings and paint that's soft and scratches easy. The car feels just like it did when I bought it. 70,000 miles in and it hasn't gotten all loose and rickety like some cars get. My Focus got like that after awhile. Very squeaky and loose. Not the Mazda, it feels the same no matter how many miles are on it.
Rust issues too.
@@Lyka-clock Where do u live? Northern places such as Canada. Mazda 3s are a rust pit. Poor dealer service or not enough of them.
@@moeanthony9308 I'm in NY. They addressed the rust issues from first gen. and the tranny problems. I have a little spot on the edge of the driver side tail light that I'll fix soon. The cars been fine. I wont buy another one because I'm not a fan of the DI motors with all the carbon build up problems they get. Camry has that duel port inject that has less issues.
@@Lyka-clock Toyota is the way to go. 2 Gen mazda 3s still had the rust issue but not as bad. You may be an exception. Sky active BTW is direct injection.
Moe Anthony I live in Québec and I do have a mazda3 2010 with no rust. Rustproof every year because I was aware of Mazda’s past history. You just need to take care of it and it will be alright.
I have the same car! Minus the sun roof... lol
How has the reliability been?
@@romarioanderson1569 I have the same car & everything runs well for me. Its great in my eyes.
@@06GCoupe Much thanks mate. Will be getting this next month!
@@romarioanderson1569 Thats great! Wish the best to you & the car brother ! hope you like it 👍🏽!
i Own one at 90K miles good car
Anyone able to tell me how reliable they are? How many miles till problems come up?
Any updates?
@@yourmom9310 I haven’t really looked further into it but seeing how it’s a big competitor with the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic i assume it’ll last 1750,000-300,000 miles
@@villeda2001 I jusy bought one today but I legally can’t drive so it’ll be a few months the before I actually start driving but I’ll let you know but so far everything with mine is good ngl
@@yourmom9310 it’s probably a great choice for new drivers honestly, Good luck learning to drive 😂 it’s a pretty nice compact car from everything I’ve seen
@@villeda2001 thanks bro and so far it seems good 😂
my dad has a mazda 3
cool
Good for him
No one cares
Dude, know what you are reviewing before making a video. You keep expecting thing beyond the price point of the vehicle.
Ok now that you made the Joker comment, I gotta get one. All-time favorite actor Heath Ledger reincarnated as a Japanese vehicle.
There's no such thing as a 2.5, 5-speed auto
Yeah it is
yes I own one
Yes there is? 🙌
