Been having this problem since last year I’m just now getting it fixed literally all I did was take it to my local repair shop and got it deep cleaned for $25 and it hasn’t turned off on me in over a month make sure you guys are cleaning your system at least once per we month to prevent this especially if it’s in a very dust consuming environment

But there are PS5 who shuts down with PS5 games without any dust too...

@@romemontanaa6034 tell me if it is a 1100 model (or 1000 or 1200) it is written on the box and under the PS5. Mine is a 1116A and I'm suspecting a problem only with the 1100 one (I've 1116A) (it's written under the PS5)

12XX without problem : 6 gamers
10XX without problem 6 gamers
10xx shut down after 2 years because of dust in the supply bloc: 1 gamer
1116A without problem 2 gamers
1116A WITH CRASH SHUT DOWN PROBLEMS : 4gamers
1115B without problem 1 gamer
After trying ALL the supposed "soluces", until a total reset... I've never fix it and so send back the PS5 to Amazon...

@@LARODEO15 OK. One Other user with the same problem on a 1000 model has fixed it by open his PS5 and vacuum it inside because after 2 years, a lit of dust was blocked into the ventilation holes of the PS5 power supply. Vacuum this dust has fixed the issue for him. Do you have try this?
If there’s no dust then you guys are probably dealing with a bad APU or have overheating RAM.
We shouldnt have to do this period sony fucked up again trying to rush the systems out
So I took apart a ps5 completely minus the disc drive and it was basically spotless, but I still vacuumed everything on the inside. It still plays ps4 games, but I get unrecognized disc with all ps5 games. I don't think the console is over heating. I did a safe mode reinstall through usb and that didn't fix it. Do you think this could be a dvd drive issue? like the disc spins hard for like 5 seconds then idle spins then stops for ps5 disc.
My PS5 can play PS5 games just fine, but when I play ANY PS4 game, my console just can't take it. I have also opened it, and cleaned it (there wasn't much to clean, as I've only had it for 3 months) but the problem still persists.
Possibly an issue with software They're trying to stop people from playing Old school games It's using a turn around Sometimes you can play playstation 5 Sometimes you can't play playstation 4 Easy motherboard related shortly components
@@QsTechService1 Take Spider-Man for example, when I tried to play the PS4 version, it would turn off, but then I bought the PS5 upgrade, and boom, all problems gone.

I have the oposite ps4 games crashing had the problem since launch should have sent it back i know
its not dust . Tried every software thing i could no joy anyone have any othet ideas ?
Probably something wrong with the ram processing it ... Which I came across a couple of times .. can't figure out a fix for it
@@QsTechService1I knew it wasn't because of the dust, as my 3 month old PS5 has little to no dust, but it still can't run PS4 games without shutting off COMPLETELY.
My brand new ps5 switches off whiles trying to process ps5 games. I've tried everything possible. It was brought from the US all the way to Liberia. It made me sick
Maybe the shutting down is on seconds. You should put it in like 30 minutes. Because it goes on rest mode

When you mean shutoff do you mean kick out of the game or turn off PS5.

@QsTechService1 oh thanks, my kids, ps5 doesn't play ps5, only ps4 games, it doesn't shutoff, just kick them off the game. He even reformatted the hard drive and still messing up.
@@georgevidro1546 yes, the system needs to be cleaned out. Check to see if the power supplies is clogged or the liquid metal does not have dry spots
@QsTechService1 it still has the warranty from Sony. Not sure not open it, all the way if it avoid warranty. Thanks for the info.

I bet you the PS5 that you did previously to this one was in the sitting room next to the TV entertainment centre hence why it was clean and this one was from a dark dingy disgusting looking bedroom I don’t want to think of what’s inside this one 🤢🤢🤢
It was pretty dirty inside ... What's the odds To get one that's so clear Not a speck of dust .. Then get one that's caked lol 😆
