I had a blood transfusion and it saved my life. I had my son at 18 and lost to much blood during a very difficult and scary labor and delivery I AM THANKFUL TO GOD to whoever donated their blood because it saved my life .
Omg me too same exact situation. I was 18 when I had my first son it was also a difficult labor I needed a few blood transfusion. I am so grateful 🙏. With out them who knows what could of happened to me.❤
If you don’t mind me asking (if you do mind , no worries I don’t mean to pry) how much blood did you loose , I lost 1.3 litres of blood but wasn’t offered a transfusion, I was just given tables and was made to stay in hospital so they could monitor me.

I don’t blame them, they are super young and have 2 kids. I feel like the dad isn’t as enthusiastic about having kids as the mom.

Honestly, I wouldn't even be upset if my man's said that to me. He's lowkey the opposite. When I had a very intrusive surgery I told him I'd see him on the other side and he was just saying I'd be fine. Which I knew was true. But at the same time, we joke around. I know he wouldn't be serious. Not only that, but Dee is like the only guy who actually provides. They live together (I think they're married to) he doesn't cheat on her like the most of the other guys have, and he treats her and their daughter very nicely. He's in the military while she's trying to be a tiktok mom and complains that he's in the military working and supporting them💀💀
My husband said bringing a PS to the birth of your child is some f*** boy shit 😂 he’s not wrong…the game will still be there when you get back home. Take in and enjoy the moment your baby is born

Well considering he's not literally playing while shes pushing, how can ya'll be that dense? lol My husband brought his xbox and I'm beyond glad he did, we were bored for a week with nothing but 5 channels to watch on the hospital tv. Not like he wasnt watching me like a hawk the first 36 hours it was the next 5 days that he really needed the xbox. The "moment" last maybe a few hours. After that baby is stuck to you for the rest of their lives, chill. Sounds like ya'll on some judgemental BS.

This literally happened to me after I had a emergency C-section with my daughter. I lost so much blood I was in and out of consciousness I had to have blood transfusions.

I packed my husband's so he had something to do to stay awake while I slept and he worried ab our 1 year old and fed the new baby. It didn't bother me one bit, I was thankful to have thought of it. And the pack and play for the 1 year old went too.

I think it’s moreso the girl doesn’t game, but personally I think I’d prefer to bring a console along as I do game and it’s a long waiting process.

Before anyone watch this video I recommend you watch the first video of this video because dee is in the military right now and that is where he is stationed right now it’s 12hrs by car from Maryland from Kentucky and 1 hr and 25 minutes from plane so her mom can’t come because of COVID and he only one is allowed in right now before he goes back in the military again. Lot of people who have kids that are in the military have hard time leaving them and sometimes kids are who are the one is the military either way it’s hard on them because they are in the military.
All the boys on here are the same it’s sad that it’s rare to see a actual happy couple
If that was me, I would probably like to bring video games because they help me relax. But I would be the one playing it, not him lol
I was beat into labor by my drunken mother, had to walk to get a ride to the hospital to get induced into labor. My water had broken and was stuck inside me, and id been in labor for about 9 hours before i made it at 4am for my appointed induction that was planned a week prior. Anywho, i was in labor for 21 ish hours. Was talked into an epidural by hour 15 , and was pain free up until 2 hours before midnight that day. The nurses did rotation and were short staffed so a cardiologist nurse was tasked with keeping tabs and moving me around due to the epidural. She flipped me so hard at one point ( she was annoyed for some reason? probably cause it wasnt her job. ) that my epidural ripped out, it took about 30 mins for me/us to realize as i started to feel intense pain. I felt like i was being ripped in half, and i could feel only my toes. I was legit RUSHED into emergency c section as both our oxygen levels dropped immensely. It happened so fast they cut my jewelry off and shaved me in 2 minutes, rushed me in and started cutting. I felt, EVERYTHING. They cut down to my uterus and started using that burning knife instead of scalpel ( i was cut open in like 30 secs itd felt ) i was SCREAMING it burned and that i could feel them on in my uterus. All i remember after is teleporting through the ceiling?? Than hearing my son cry, i tried to get up but had apparently been given a dose of anesthesia once i started screaming, than ANOTHER dose when i tried sitting up to the sound of my baby. I was in and out of consciousness for about 4 hours, becoming half conscious to fight the nurses as they painfully pushed my placenta out. I was hospitalized for almost a week, and had terrible PPD. It was a shitshow, a part of my life id pushed down and not faced until now as i watch these teen birthing videos. I was 16 when i gave birth, it was something i wish i could've experienced later down the line when i was ready... God damn, life is strange.

10-15 is a normal hgb for a female. 9.5 is hardly 'low'
12-15 is normal for women

12 is normal. Anything under that is low. 9.5 is low especially if you’re about to go into surgery ….
A hgb at 10 is low. Women are anywhere from 12.1-15.1 anything less than 12.0 can be possible anemia in women.

I'm surprised they didn't do pre-op blood the day before. With my c sections I had to go in and get blood drawn before. Of course, I was also first on the docket in the morning so maybe there just wasn't time.
And ya'll, my husband, who was 31 when we had our first child and 34 when we had our second, was gaming on his phone on and off during our stays lol. He did help me, like a lot (he assisted with breastfeeding by squeezing my boob for our sleepy babies and literally feeding me when they were cluster feeding) but there was a lot of time he wasn't doing anything. And yeah, the day of surgery I slept, like most of the day, when I got to our room. He's not wrong. If he was staying more than the first day when I go in for #3 I'd tell him to go ahead and bring the Switch (he has to go home to be with our other 2 and I'm very well aware that I'm perfectly capable with very little help after the first day, so please nobody start)
