My 1st husband & I "took a break" as they say (in '79) & I flew from NJ to Cali for my bro's wedding & he called me & played this whole song to me! I was in TEARS by the time it was done! Well, Needless to say, wen I got home, (after I recovered from all the great "michuacan" etc that I got turned on to in Cali lol) our "break" was over! Great job! I love seeing people's reactions to hearing my fave songs for the 1st time. Brings me back to the 1st time I ever heard it back in MY day!! ✌💚👏👏👏

Two of their studio singles that were NOT included on their albums are ABSOLUTE musts to listen to:
    - *_Travelling Riverside Blues_* - and - *_Hey, Hey What Can I Do._* -
    _Pleeeeeeeeease_ do those also.

I was an avid album collector in the 70s and 80s. But there are only two albums that I remember the minute they came out because I had to have them on the first day. They were too important. One was Pink Floyd The Wall and In Through The Out Door was the other. Fans had waited SO long for both albums to be released. I even remember tearing off the plastic and being so excited to discover that the album was in an actual paper bag and there was artwork underneath.

You need to check out their 1970 Royal Albert Hall concert which happened to be Jimmy's birthday. It's early Zeppelin being monstrously heavy and raw. You can find it on the Led Zeppelin DVD along with a lot of other Easter eggs of concert footage,it was released in 2004 I believe. Also that same year they released How The West Was Won,a recording of an entire 1972 concert at the LA Forum

Rick Beato has some great breakdowns on Zeppelin. I would check him out. Sal, if you’re not already watching him you should, especially when he does his famous “top 20 lists”……It will give you loads of ideas, and he doesn’t play enough of any song to spoil a possible future reaction. Also, one of the best of their albums, to me, is How the West was Won, an audio live album of a performance in, I believe, 1971 at the LA Forum.

Like everyone has said there is more Zeppelin to be listened to that’s for sure. CODA & the live music from TSRTS & How The West Was Won. Immigrant Song 1972. How Many More Times Denmark 1969. I am not only a fan of Zep but a huge fan of Robert Plant!!! His solo career spans from 1982-present. He has put out a total of 22 albums including studio, live, compilation, video, etc. Jimmy & JPJ also have their separate careers and then you have Page & Plant No Quarter and Page & Plant Unledded which you will love… it’s acoustic!!!! There is a clip on RUclips from Japanese TV of Page & Plant acoustic Stairway To Heaven (shortened version). There are complete concerts of Robert Plant from the 80’ & 90’s. Currently he is touring with Alison Krauss. They released their second album, Raise The Roof, this past November. Their first one, Raising Sand, won 6 Grammy’s. They do covers of old bluegrass and a couple original. Looking forward to seeing where you go with your channel as Zeppelin was your influence. Cheers ☮️

I imagine this song being sung in a dimly lit, smokey bar by a torch singer under a brilliantly bright spotlight and just emoting all over the place. Bonzo considered this one of Planty's best vocals. Such a bittersweet moment. Early on in your Led Zeppelin journey, I believe I gave you links to various live performances. In addition to CODA, there's a few pieces that didn't get noticed until much later like St. Tristan's Sword, 10 Ribs & All/Carrot Pod Pod (Pod), Sunshine Woman, Sugar Mama and I think a few others I can't remember at the moment. There are also some wonderful bootlegs out there. Personally, I wouldn't go too much into interviews (unless they're with one of the band directly) or histories because they're most often interested with salacious gossip and stupid crap like "The Led Zeppelin Curse" or "everyone sold their souls to the devil for fame except for Jonesy and that's why nothing bad happened to him". So much drivel. That being said, off the top of my head, Rick Beato and Professor of Rock are a couple of RUclipsrs who've done good by Zep. Both talk about the songs, some of the histories, and how the songs were created. There's still more to come.

Do a live listening party of the epic movie , The Song Remains the Same. You could have a live chat during the movie. And subscribers could send you donations with a super chat. Having their comments read and reacted to by you. Watching the entire movie non stop will even give you more appreciation of the greatness of each of these master musicians.
I personally have watched the movie well over 100 times and it never gets old. Originally the film was going to be just a concert film. But when they started editing there where so much the camera crew missed ,or even forgot to turn the cameras on ,with a couple of songs. So that's how the Fantasy scene's came to be. To fill in the places where the camera crew were to high to film it properly. But in true Led Zeppelin form it made for a much deeper and personal look into each of the band members life. Giving the fans a connection that could never have been accomplished, with just a concert movie.
Watching it in the movie theaters ,full Dolby surround sound was probably better than any concert sound. Think about it, back then you could smoke in movie theaters . and that place was full of smoke of every virety.. and for alot of people like myself who were just unlucky enough not to see them live . This was the next best thing. Going to the midnight movies with the best weed you can find and a bottle of southern comfort or Yukon jack. You snd everyone else where at a Led Zeppelin concert. The atmosphere alone is undescribable. Waiting in Line for a hour just to get the best seat. The lights went off The packed theater cheering and on their feet applausing . The theater would come alive with cheers and applause after ever song. Then that emptiness you would feel at the end of a concert left you coming back for more. It was just like being in the front row of a real Led Zeppelin concert. At least thats how it felt for me. WOW thinking back at it. It was the best time to be a teenager. You lived for music going to see your favorite bands live was the best experience you could have.
Thank you for taking me back to my youth. I enjoyed every song along the way and seeing a new younger generation hearing these timeless classics. Then becoming fans themselves is such a touching and emotional moment for me because it brings me back to when I herd this band for the first time and forever fell in love with the music they created. The 70's were an amazing time, you could get away with anything back then, underage drinking, smoking pot, rarely did anyone get hauled off to jail unless they had a warrant or something. I remember one time we got pulled over, I had stashed the weed up under the seat, and they never could find it, but if they had, they would've just taken it for themselves and let us go. They got so upset about not finding it, that they made us break a brand new bong and they tossed a new chambered pipe into the woods, both of which we bought that day, then let us go, and we still had our weed lol

@@karadodge7118 I feel the same. Graduated in 1980. Had tickets reserved 6 months in advance for their San Diego concert October of 1980. Then the horrible news of Bonzo in September followed by the press release "We can no longer continue as a band, " I was devastated heartbroken and depressed for months, locking myself in my room playing all their albums from start to finish. Thatshow I grieved Bozo was alive in every song.
Nie seeing a whole new generation hearing Zep for the first time often brings tears to my eyes. Not tears of sadness but of joy as I relive my own memories over and over again. I'm addicted to watching Zeppelin reactions and the ones who do it right and start from the beginning and go through their whole catalog. Just like we had to do. Only difference is we had to wait about a year before we could hear the next new album. So we played the shit out of our records side by side over and over. We learned every word ,every riff , every break every triplet and every fill. A little jealous of how now the kids don't have to wait they can listen to everything. But you know what I wouldn't have it any other way. It made us real hard core fans that fell in love with every song even if at the first listen maybe it wasn't you favorite but after the 10th 30th 50th or 100th time hearing it becomesbanother fav. Like I say when you think you heard your favorite Led Zeppelin song then the next song plays and you have a new favorite soon they all become you favorite for different reasons. Picking any favorite Zepp song is way too difficult, impossible really, but I'll try, my favorite would be "I'm Gonna Crawl", but only because I just listened to it, and it will only be my favorite until the next song plays

Fool in the Rain is my favorite but they're all excellent. It goes to show you how great they really are when you consider that this album is often regarded as one of their "weaker" ones. I guess I'll take Zeppelin's weakest any day. Soul Train Bro has gone through their entire catalog and even bootlegs. The Zeppelin rabbit hole is deep and winding indeed. Congratulations on wrapping up the Zepathon! I'm sure still that we're gonna groove.
