EDIT: Loving your reactions. I'm going to crawl, it freaks me out to see the new generations react to Zeppelin, the great music is still alive. The epic of this song is mind-blowing
Led Zeppelin are my favourite band ever. They play such different incredible music, all four of them I think are geniuses! The biggest selling rock band ever and they were only together for 12 years
I had to watch this again ! I have a confession - I've watched multiple times - many of your LZ reactions. You reactions are priceless and these guys have touched your soul. It's so beautiful ❤
an often overlooked, and just BRILLIANT album. a different style than many are used to from the band. i remember we were all a little surprised when it came out......so much synth.
It's an amazing piece of music to finish up their last studio album. You almost cried during this reaction. What a beautiful reaction and tribute to them. ❤
Every song a masterpiece and a trip unto itself. Has there ever been a band that was so diverse and versatile in their expressions? What a joke to call this band "heavy metal". People that say that never have listened to them.
Led Zeppelin’s The Rain Song (Live 1973) from The Song Remains The Same. Guaranteed to take you to the most beautiful place and make you feel the most wonderful things ❤️🔥
Thank you for reacting to this, it gets me emotional every time...this is the last song on their last album..no one, including Led Zeppelin , knew that at the time...what a tremendous send off
Never get enough Led Zeppelin! JPJ on that melatone is amazing. Hey make it sound like a complete orchestra! Plants voice. THE GOATS! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This song is an amazing song. It's like their "goodbye" song - their final song, on the final album. They didn't know it though. John Bonham would go to the other side one year and ten months after this was recorded. It's a such a sad, melancholic song. Jimmy's final guitar solo on their final album song, while Bonzo was still was still with us. Bonzo fuzz rolls into and out of the guitar solo are amazing. Bonzo's bass drum and snare drum accents at the end of the song are killer. Drummers just don't do that on records. ❤❤❤❤ Plant's lyrics and singing are incredible on this masterpiece. Jonesy's keyboard playing is insane and beautiful ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a song! What a vocal performance, what gorgeous guitar, what incredible drumming, what tasteful keys from JPJ Looks like you loved it as much as I did on first hearing- and I still do! The mighty Zeppelin- accept no substitute
The last song on the last album with Bonzo, after he died they said that's it. They started out as a blues rock band then this is the last one as a group! My god they were so damn great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another really beautiful reaction! Thank you - this album doesn't get the proper respect. And regardless of what state of mind the band members were in at the time - as mentioned in a comment below - they still made great music uniquely their own on this LP. And you said it - no one can create that "trance" like LZ in so many different forms. Hope you get into the bootlegs - there is so much greatness out there. There's another guy who started out like you and is going way way down into the rabbit hole. For about 2 years now - if you don't know of him and you want to check it out - Soul Train Bro's YT channel - You get LZ just as he does. Hope you'll continue on the wonderful journey of discovering the entire range of their music!
Take this from a much older rocker...you my friend are astute and wise beyond your years. The great music.....R&B,Top 40,Rock from the 60's/70's is like from some imaginary land far, far, away. But it happened,i lived it,loved it.
Ohhh my goshhhh. SOOOO good if forgot bout this song man !!! Been year's ,im 60 now a young 60 😂 but thank you sweetie for playing an reacting ,Darlene from Anniston ,Alabama . keep doing what ya do
Really enjoy watching you see and hear these for the first time. I have other bands i like, other songs that are ok, but i always tell people, there's led zeppelin and there's everybody else. I agree they are special. Not everyone sees it, but from the musicianship, to the lyrics, to plants voice, to the way the songs are put together. The way they jam, then stop on a dime all together is very cool. Also the way the music usually dies down somewhat while plant sings, then picks up when hes not. I know other bands do these things, but zeppelin mastered them!
The first time I saw Zeppelin I was 14 back in 1970 at the Fillmore East in New York I'm just showing my age but I must have seen him like 20 times that shows you ever want to talk about them let me know. ✌️
After 40+ years, I still have the same reaction as you presented, though I have to use head phones now.. Am enjoying your posts. Tis good to see some youngins appreciating what I love. Cheers from an old whitey from Australia.
Hands down my favorite song the more I hear it. I've often behind closed doors think of my lady I've known since high school and of 16 years now, and I never not think of her when I hear this. 🌹 and it's awesome that you did this one. Zep were a very powerful band in every facet. Thank you, pal. 🍺🕊️
You still have to check out the studio versions of No Quarter, In the Light, Battle of Evermore, Four Sticks, How Many More Times, Dazed and Confused, All of My Love, and The Crunge.
I always Loved hanging out with my Black friends and play some Led Zeppelin and just not say anything. I always were guaranteed a life of the party reaction. It is becuz Led Zepoelin belongs to them. It is their music from the south land. It belongs to them, which is why several Black performers sued Zep and either won or Page and Plant settled becuz they made no secret of taking their music and repackaging and making it howl. Robert Johnson, Howling Wolf, and every Black blues artist from that Era from the 20's through the 50's, Jimmy Page just repackaged their blues and Robert Plant completed the guitar riffs. John P. Jones was/is the greatest blues bassist on recording and his keyboard is second to none. Of course John Bonham is in a class by himself. 4 incredible outstanding musicians came together and added their brand of Music to a sort of Classical Music that will not be forgotten 400 years from now...A fact !
This song is always overlooked. Their last studio album together before the death of John Bonham at 32. The brown paper bag album and cassette cover. Had the cassette.
One of my favorite not popular tracks of Zeppelin. Not sure why I never hear this track on the radio. Awesome vocal performance by Robert and that bluesy awesome guitar solo by Page is killer. Also Jones brilliant keyboard work !!!
That's it right there bro I don't know how those white dudes can play the blues like that but the s*** is so legit cannot be questioned this particular song right here happens to be my favorite led Zeppelin song of all time... They dig into another level and just when you thought they couldn't dig down any farther they do !! This shit is astronomically amazing!!
All thriller and NO filler. Every album. Even what they had left on the shelf was better than what most bands could conjure on their best day. Travelling Riverside Blues for example. First played at BBC Studios in 1969 and stayed on the shelf until 1990!!!! And it's just as good as any other Zep tune. Brilliantly constructed and perfectly played and sang.
well put.. MAGIC. as you can imagine, having grown up on this (additionally, old Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, etc...) I find it difficult to like much in the way of modern music. Cheers!
The last part of that song might be the last great thing by John Bonham--the bass-drum triplets that made him famous. At the time of his death, Stuart Copeland was tearing the place up and I became obsessed with him.
Was a fan of Led Zeppelin from 1969. Had (and still have) all their albums up to Physical Graffiti on vinyl. Then around '76/'77 Punk Rock hit the UK. The likes of The Clash and The Jam were my age or younger and it became uncool to listen to the "boring old bands" So while I still loved Led Zep and played their older albums I never got around to listening to, or buying Presence or In Through The Out Door until probably 20 year later, when I got them on CD. Glad I did. Both brilliant albums!
The 70s were the greatest decade for music! Led Z, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and of course my all time favorite, Yes were a plethora of great bands that we could look forward to listening to every day. The brilliance and creativity of these groups to produce such fantastic music can never be duplicated. Looking forward to your next Yes review Pope! LOL
Bother, I know the feeling. When I was kid in the 70's, I remember listening to this record with my Mom and dad and Sister, we had shag carpet, we played vinyl. Mm and Dad were enjoying great wine, smoking some weed and my sister and I were laying next to the speakers on the floor. My Dad, put this album on and we were all in a trance. It was a great family moment that even at 54 years old now, I can remember it was yesterday. That song is something too be felt more than anything...
Man, I'm so glad you got to this tune... and your reaction was just as I expected. A few days ago you did a reaction to 'What Is And What Should Never Be' live from 1970. As you continue your journey, at some point you'll really want to check out more from that show, including this two-song thrill ride of a couple of their lesser played tunes (We're Gonna Groove' / 'I Can't Quit You Babe'). The performance is fire, and Bonham just let's loose. ruclips.net/video/o3XpvxdlhAA/видео.html
Thank you for your LZ reactions, you're hooked now. 😎 I have a couple requests: Houses of the Holy on Physical Graffiti LP and Dancing Days on the Houses of the Holy LP. THANKS. New subscriber here, love your channel. It's too bad all of their songs weren't live. Janet from Louisiana ☮🖤🤘
They began with the blues....they ended with the blues. Full circle.
GREAT POINT!!!1
Page's last solo on the last song on Zep's last real studio album was a winner.
Yes Matt
Just as if they are at very tippy top of their incredible talent.
They smoking hot 🔥 when the unfortunate happened.
almost as if Zeppelin knew this would have to be something monumental... for various reasons.
I'm 100% convinced you were born in the wrong era. Welcome to ours ❤
nah. we never had hair like dat
So well put Tina.
OOOooohhhh hSOOOO GOOD!!!hhahaha
Yes, we've been spoiled by the mighty Zep
Best comment ever!
Love that you react to the ones that other reactors don't bother with. They're missing out on some really amazing music!
The overlooked later stuff really grows on a person, really appreciate the the reaction and the comment above! 2 months late but f it
EDIT: Loving your reactions.
I'm going to crawl, it freaks me out to see the new generations react to Zeppelin, the great music is still alive. The epic of this song is mind-blowing
Greatest all around Band Ever!
Talk about lightning in a bottle. Often imitated but never duplicated, the mighty Zeppelin. Enjoy the Zepathon! It's one helluva ride!
Led Zeppelin are my favourite band ever. They play such different incredible music, all four of them I think are geniuses! The biggest selling rock band ever and they were only together for 12 years
I remember buying this new on vinyl back in the day. I loved it then and i love it even more now. Led Zeppelin didn't put out any bad albums.
I love Zeppelin. I love the blues. I love the blues because of Zeppelin.
I had to watch this again ! I have a confession - I've watched multiple times - many of your LZ reactions. You reactions are priceless and these guys have touched your soul. It's so beautiful ❤
an often overlooked, and just BRILLIANT album. a different style than many are used to from the band. i remember we were all a little surprised when it came out......so much synth.
yeah...ears weren't used to those synth tunings..huh
From rock to country, hillbilly, ballads, folk, They covered the entire music spectrum, that's what separated Zep from the others.
When you are done reacting... start enjoying albums from end to end. Whole different listening experience.
So true Larry.
My favorite from in through the outdoor
Get the Led out my brotha ✌😎
Love the passion for this often overlooked classic song.
Tremendous reaction...perfectly said... there's no other like Zep..
WOW I'M VERY IMPRESSED!!! LOVE THIS SONG and it's usually overlooked. 💜😘
hidden gem...........true masterpiece!
Love the reaction. Everyone in Led Zeppelin was/is Gifted. RIP Bonzo!!!
It's an amazing piece of music to finish up their last studio album. You almost cried during this reaction. What a beautiful reaction and tribute to them. ❤
Can always count on you to hit these more obscure gems. Hope you're keepin' a list Pope. Gotta play them all!
Yes, I love it! Greatest Rock band ever!
What a swan song. What a cool reaction. Blues not from Zep but from Mississippi Delta. Page gave credit where credits due.
Got to love Zeppelin, their are masters in all that they played
Every song a masterpiece and a trip unto itself. Has there ever been a band that was so diverse and versatile in their expressions? What a joke to call this band "heavy metal". People that say that never have listened to them.
Love yur reaction. Unbelievable huh ? I'm 61. And was hooked young when this was new. Godspeed. Peace froend
Led Zeppelin’s The Rain Song (Live 1973) from The Song Remains The Same. Guaranteed to take you to the most beautiful place and make you feel the most wonderful things ❤️🔥
BEST REACTION I HAVE EVER SEEN!
NO TALKING, JUST REACTING!
This one gives me goosebumps, the way Robert starts off you can feel the emotion that just intensifies with the instrumentals throughout the track.
AND the "HIT ME" about halfway thru----shivers!!
The MIGHTY LED ZEPPELIN has You Under Their Hypnotic Rock Influence!!
Absolutely luv this bluesy song
Worthy worship. I enjoyed your reaction.
When the critics hated the album “Presence” so much… they released this album in a brown paper bag.
Hey Pope! What time is it? Dinner time, and time to get The Led out!🔈🔉🔊
Thank you for reacting to this, it gets me emotional every time...this is the last song on their last album..no one, including Led Zeppelin , knew that at the time...what a tremendous send off
Never get enough Led Zeppelin! JPJ on that melatone is amazing. Hey make it sound like a complete orchestra! Plants voice. THE GOATS! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This album is one of my favorites
Great reaction!! One of their best for sure! Another great Zeppelin blues track is “Baby come on home” amazing vocals by Plant
Brilliant. Love your reactions Pope. Authentic and appreciated.
thank you thank you 🙏🏿
I'm glad young people are listening to this.
One of their very very best songs, and one of plants best vocal performances, glad y like their music
Another Zeppelin Gem
Down by the sea side
Great country song
This song is an amazing song. It's like their "goodbye" song - their final song, on the final album. They didn't know it though.
John Bonham would go to the other side one year and ten months after this was recorded.
It's a such a sad, melancholic song. Jimmy's final guitar solo on their final album song, while Bonzo was still was still with us.

My favorite song from one of my favorite albums.

First heard this song in 2004 and was head over heels with a girl I was dating in high school. This song always takes me back to then. So beautiful.
That's why they're my favorite band and the best band

Another felt-melting solo from Jimmy Page.
At the Kennedy Ctr Honors, Jack White said it,,"Best band ever,"
Whoo hoo!! Just another great one!
