Is there a full version of this video? I have done it every day this week and find it so relaxing, and would love to be able to follow along with the video instead of pausing when i need to do 10 on the other side so I can be fully immersed. This is such a relaxing video and you are so knowledgeable. Thank you :)

I want to strengthen my “Chi” build up my body health but my left knee gives me pain as does my lower back, hard time standing. Can I still do the arm movement of Tai Chi sitting in a chair and still get the same benefits

    Cat cow yoga

Yes the cat cow does indeed promote healthier breathing. In three ways as far as I know.
Improved Spinal Mobility: The Cat-Cow pose promotes flexibility and mobility in the spine, which can help to open up the chest area. An open chest allows for easier, deeper breathing as the lungs have more space to expand.
Promotes Diaphragmatic Breathing: The pose encourages you to sync your movement with your breath, cultivating mindful breathing habits. As you move into Cow pose (the inhalation phase), your belly drops towards the mat, allowing the diaphragm to move downwards and facilitating deeper inhalation. When transitioning into Cat pose (the exhalation phase), you round your spine and press your belly to your spine, encouraging the diaphragm to move upwards and helping you to exhale fully.
Mindfulness and Relaxation: By focusing on the coordinated movement and breath, the Cat-Cow pose can promote a state of mindfulness, which can decrease stress and promote relaxation. This may further improve the quality of your breath by reducing short, shallow breathing often associated with stress and anxiety.
      Thanks for watching!
