Incredible guitarist. Even though Dave takes most of the lead on this tune, I always liked Adrian's parts more for some reason on LAD. Murray and Smith. Downing and Tipton. Quinn and Oliver. Us Brits turned out some pretty fucking formidable Metal guitar partnerships.

Heard maiden first in 1980 The lucazade advert! One of the greatest riff of ALL time. Listened to live after death a 1000 times as a 16 year old. I was obsessed with that fucking album the twin guitar and how the played and their approach was so different .Murray is fluid and fast and Smith thoughtful gritty and dirty. I think Murray was born good and hasn’t really got any better than he was in 1980 Smith had to work harder but has become a better guitarist in my view. His sound is so fucking dirty.
