Funny you should mention, Ed Boon did mention that NR studios wanted Akuma in MK11, but Capcom refused.
Backstory for him would be: “Liu Kang summons him from a different timeline to asks for his aid against whatever big threat he needs to face next.”

But that would still mean that Ryu can kill someone with a Kameo fatality or brutality. I don't think Capcom would be ok with Ryu killing someone.

It would be a T rated game like MKvsDC. Capcom isn't letting any of its characters become brutally murdered in MK. I personally don't wanna see any SF character get deystroyed in MK. That's why the "fatals" in MKvDC were so acenine.

I have wanted a crossover between Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter since I was a kid... and that was in the 90's.
Bringing Sub-Zero and possibly Scorpion as well as guest characters in SF6 might be the start of making this finally happen. Capcom needs to realize that so many of us who love Street Fighter also love Mortal Kombat and I guarantee that just one MK character being a guest in SF6 will prove that, and thus prove that a 'Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter' game is a license to print money.
I'll so glad if we do get Sub-Zero in SF6. I've always wanted a crossover between the two, and Sub-Zero will definitely be the best candidate for it, I also think any sorcerer woul also be good because not all sorcery magic will cause blood spill and not all sorcery magic kills.
Would love a SHMONKS 2 COULD you imagine with the graphics and technology we have in games now. Plus everyone having their own leir and stage like ermac , reptile, Liu kang, scor, mileena, a Baraka world

No he’s not, Johnny is not as popular as Sub Zero and Scorpion, so why would they add Johnny when sales is all that matters when in comes to guest characters

I think the streets need a mk vs street fighter way more . Killer instinct is good but in order for the crossover to work people need to play killer instinct

I have to just assume that you're not aware that there's A NEW FATAL FURY GAME called "CITY OF THE WOLVES" being released NEXT YEAR, correct? You know, the game that keeps being demoed at the last few supermajor tournaments like EVO Japan and the like? It's ALMOST like this collaboration was done, in part, to help promote that new Fatal Fury game to SF6 players as well as introduce them to Terry or something? 🤣

Surely Liu Kang would have made more sense as he was the only one with a fatality that didn’t kill anyone in MK1.
Shaolin monks was an underrated masterpiece. It wasn't just a hack an slash is was a parkour puzzle skill check. It was sick boss fights, and endless fatalities to unlock and discover. Childhood favorite alongside RE4
1. I would love a game with the new scorpion and Sub zero begrudgingly teaming up with one another. Just seems like a fun way to keep the story going.
2. Give me a first person shoother Special Forces game where I get to shoot at black dragons goons, Neather realm demons, and out world soldiers. That would be sick

The only pick that makes sense is Johnny Cage as he is a Fan Favorite and it would be good to promote the Mortal Kombat 2 Movie, in reverse, Akuma or even M. Bison would be the perfect SF Represents in an MK Game.
Either Akuma or Gen would work in MK since they are both characters that fight to the death regularly. Gen is an underworld assassin, and Akuma is akuma.

If I were to choose which SF character will crossover to MK first it will have to be fighters that are hyper violent in canon and are prone to killing, talking about killing etc: Juri, Akuma, M Bison, and Vega come to mind.
If this happens, I hope Steve Blum does Sub-Zero's voice.
If Sub-Zero does make a guest appearance in Street Fighter, then someone like Akuma should make a guest appearance in Mortal Kombat.

Akuma or M. Bison are the only two options to come our way. But Shao would be sick to see in a Street Fighter game. It’s always Sub, Scorp, Raiden. Which I get but Shao fits the sf roster.

I personally think Liu Kang would be the perfect guest character for the street fighter series. Akuma or Bison would be perfect for the mortal Kombat series. Sub and Raiden already got his guest appearance for Injustice 2 and scorp for Injustice 1.

All for this. I've been wanting Scorpion in Tekken for a while now. And even have a "Finish Him" in it. Just with Tekken level violence. Much like how Akuma and Geass had their super metres from their own games in Tekken. Kunimitsu breathes fire for example but it doesn't really do anything. So yeah, I'd love this to happen. Been wanting this since I was a kid in the 90's. Truthfully I'd love it if they did a fighting game all stars and put all the big names together.

Tbh it makes sense to add liu kang! He shoots fire balls which dahslm and ryu both use and can be made in the game very easy I think for MK they could add gill or akuma

I think the best bet for a guest is going to be Liu Kang, he's the face of the game and his fighting style, hand to hand, isn't that violent
Liu Kang is not as popular as Sub Zero and Scorpion, when people think of MK Sub Zero and Scorpion is what comes to mind, there’s a reason Sub Zero was mentioned in the interview and not Liu Kang

DC wouldn't allow Superman or Batman in Mortal Kombat but they allowed them to use Joker.
Capcom can do something similar, Ryu, Chun-li and Ken can't be in violent game like Mortal Kombat but Akuma and M.Bison can be in Mortal Kombat.

Very doubtful to see any crossovers but I guess they wanted Sub-Zero as guests in sf6 then I guess that should be interesting, but then again a crossover fighting game will likely not happen since Capcom doesn't want any iconic characters getting decapitated or cut in half

you can get a PS2 Emulator to play MKSM on PC and it's literally the same experience may be even better, coming from a guy who played it with his father on PS2 too
As a subzero Simp, I just bought street fighter six and I’m hot garbage at it compared to how good I am in MK1 (I main rain though) and I would love to have subzero and MK one like a scorpion seems like the obvious pick but subzero is much better

Johnny Cage would be the best fit for Street Fighter considering how humorous and unserious he is, and also he scales closely to most of the sf6 roster. The special forces are actually the best fit for street fighter.
However, Scorpion and Sub Zero would be more likely to make into the game.
Shigeru Miyamoto was also open and completely fine with Link in Soul Calibur 2, and they considered it to be a "violent" game.

The games are banned because of the gore and violence, not because the country just doesnt like MK. If they take some MK characters and put them in sf6, theres no reason for it to get banned since sf6 isnt violent and gorey.

Honestly I'm unsure how this could work. Mortal Kombat and Street fighter are so radically different in tone that I feel like if Sub-zero did get in they'd tone him down significantly. That to me is what I feel like will be the thing that could prevent an actual crossover game because if it did happen people are obviously gonna want fatalities, the blood, the high levels of violence, etc. And if we did somehow get fatalities they'd probably be on the same level as the fatalities in MK vs DC.
I go with the Fire and Ice squeal of Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks.

I actually disagree with the SM2 thing, I would absolutely LOVE the Edenian sisters as a SM game. But ofc Scorpion and Sub Zero is gonna win. The story of Sub Zero and Scorpion in every single game has been already explored. I think it would be 10x more interesting to have Kitana and Mileena as a focal point. Only in one game we have seen kitana and mileena be seen together not wanting to kill eachother. Another adventure story game would be so good for them
Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Jax, Raiden, and Liu Kang are the best characters for non-rated M fighting game crossovers since they're slightly less murder happy than most MK characters. Can't go wrong with any of the iconic ninjas though, man or woman
PLEASE put akuma kameo, also if they do that look at raging demon and kameo fatales inputs, if you see it you see it

I would love see another Street Fighter and Tekken crossover again. As for MK characters for street fighter 6, top 5: 1. Sub-zero, 2. Jax, 3. Li Mei, 4. Johnny cage, and 5. Lou Kang.
boon if this comes to your attention how about set the sequel to Shaolin monks 2 ,something new for the creators to think of bringing the game in anime form like the latest films and have your own guest characters from past editions make cameo appearances throughout the game
