I just picked up the three Tamiya half tracks. Tamiya have reisaued them in the US this year. I made them when i was a kid and now i can do them again.
hello there @iancarter921 and thanks for watching. The M16 is a rather fearsome looking machine, have seen a RUclips vid with it loosing of a "few" rounds LOL. Good luck with building them, hope they bring back some memories.
Nice 1/35 pick ups,I have all the tamiya half tracks, some months ago,you done well on them,as thay were a re issue of the mid 70s kits by tamiya, and the Japanese motorcycle and figures look really good.oh and amazon have a 1/35 Japanese motorcycle with two figures, but it's modern millitary.
A few years ago, just after I started model building again, I bought a vacform 1/48 DH Hornet, also with metal parts. It was without doubt the hardest model I have ever built! Really tested my skills! Also I bought a mistercraft Mig 29 and the decals fell apart as soon as they got wet - I believe they have a habit of doing this!
Hello again @alanmoss3603 I have another vacu form kit, a Fairey Fulmar part of a set of 5 Fulmar kits, 3 of which are pretty horrific also. This one well i cant find a Martin Baker (thats affordable) so this is the one to build...........at some point. The mistercraft yes i have heard about the decals being a bit flimsy, i am hoping for a 60/40 positive result on them, if they fail i will just have to pinch from another kit, LOL i have a few.
@@TheNoviceModeller I have the MPM 1/48 Fulmar - which is a fairly basic kit - but is pretty good and a pleasure to build! Looks like a Fulmar and that's what matters!
Hello again @PiperStart, I'll be off to the garage to do the top coat for the Dakota and Horsa after breakfast, hoping the Dakota will be finished tomorrow. There is a reply to @ktcooki276on on this comment thread, that explains my plan, if you have got eight years spare most of the 440 kits i have will get built ..............erm thats the plan anyhoo.
Hello again @speedymg1962 PMSL thanks you just spoiled my day. LOL whenever i find my self a "bargain" i always find the same thing randomly a few weeks later for a few quids less.
Roman Numeral XIX is 19, so a PR Mk 19; 'Schulflugzeug' means (literally) 'school plane' (flight school trainer?). I've never built Mistercraft, but the number of marking options and price tag are appealing. The one Mistercraft kit I have is a Bf109-G12 2 seat trainer advertised in Italian markings that I got for $10AUD (just over 5GBP) while it was 50% off at the local model shop: only 2 companies make 1/72 -G12s and I like that this kit comes with unused 109G spares from the standard kit including spare fuselage halves that I'll use for something.
Hello there @captaincool3329 and thanks for watching. Greetings to you Australia? I forget which aircraft the 'Schulflugzeug' was but i have a bit of a plan for the channel starting in a few weeks, thematic's basically, so this will fit in with my obsession for Small WW2 era Air forces and also Trainers. I also have a two seat 109 an AZ i think, also comes with spare fuselage. Your Mistercraft sounds a bargain though lots dislike them i have no great issue, i used an average price for the ones in the vid, i think some were £6 some 11-12. LOL Roman numerals, normally OK with them but that one stumped me LOL.
What a coincidence! I had the Tamiya M16 half track delivered yesterday and it cost me £25. I built the Matchbox 1/72 version as a kid and always wanted to do a 1/35 but could never find one for a reasonable price. Plenty more oddities for the aircraft stash, I like that captured Russian torpedo plane, I didn't even know they existed. I've never even attempted one of those vac-formed kits although I do have a Miniart vac-form diorama building kit in the stash, I just really don't fancy starting it.
Hello again @martinoconnor4314 £25 is a good price me thinks, TBH this was delivered a few months ago, its a nice kit though. The PE-2? the Finnish air force is awesome loads of pre war stuff, British, American, French, Italian, captured Russian & German aircraft the logistics must have been a nightmare. The vac form PMSL i have a Fairey Fulmar vac kit to go with four or five other Fulmars, some of these Fulmars are terrible kits from the 70's it'll be a theme for this BIG PLAN called hmmmm..... Fairey Fulmar Friday, kinda hopeful that the Black & Decker may be called for on one of them LOL.
I've built one of those mini art vacuum form building, the French Garage. It was my first try at vacuum form kit. Honestly it wasn't bad, a lot of sanding and fill gaps. But it came pretty cool. I have a couple more in the stash, N. Africa house and a large one German street scene with three maybe four buildings in a row.

morning @georgeclements2742, it all part of the BIG PLAN lol one week i will just throw 6 motorcycle kits on the bench and let you guys pick the build a few months later repeat, same for the rest of the kits 1/35 Afrika Korps, Trucks of all nations, German jets, Flying boats, Finnish fighters, Bulgarian fighters, ME 109's of various nations, Spitfires etc etc etc so many thematic's to choose from LOL. Not so much of a motorcycle freak myself, more into the self powered type.

TBH Ebay seems to include the taxation in the selling prices or as an add on when you go to pay. have not yet had any issues with taxes or surcharges, i actually meant to mention that in the vid but forgot.
Hi Andy. Wow , your on it again. So lets start then. The Fokker G-1 , remind you of a Focke wolfe 189 ? It did me. Then you said "and here's one from New Zealand" and straight away I said "Spitfire". And yes I was right. I know that you said that these Ventura kits are dogs but you also said that you like them , so now you have another one by a different manufacturer. By the way its a MK 19. Then we come to the DB 3F Luftwaffe test aircraft. The model itself I have no issue with and I look forward to a kit review. But what gets me are the markings on the box. Imagine being an Allied pilot seeing that , is it Russian or is it German ? Now onto the big box from Poland. That was a good deal for the money , plenty of choice there. You do realise that you will get to a point where you will run out of space to put your finished models , unless you live in a palace. Now finally the three Tamiya halftracks. You done well there. Good quality kits at a good price , these three kits will take you some time to build and you need to start buying some stowage sets. Black Dog do a good selection to choose from. Anyway a good video. Good kits too. Good luck bud.
Hi Brian, not really they have been piled up for ages, 4 more to go before big plan commences, yeah i spose the G-1 does looka bit like the 189, the gondola and all, but i think the G1 packs a bit more punch LOL. Ha ha the Ventura's you better avert your eyes as there are few more of them coming soon. LOL ispace i am pretty sure that scientists have proved that space is infinite, I'll worry about that some other day, i like ostriches by the way. LOL stowage i think i replied in another recent message about the stowage situation.......i think the solution is a 3D printer.

Hello there @simonrichards6739 and thanks for watching. LOL i wish, i work a pretty regular job 4 on 4 off, with almost unlimited option on overtime. i have a plan for the channel, I have been hoarding these "haul" boxes for four months, and kits for 7 months. i am unpacking them now for 2 reasons. Firstly at the end of September i will be starting what i am calling my "BIG PLAN" an interchanging set of thematic series's which every week or so, will introduce a new thematic set of reviews which will be using viewer participation to select the build ( i have tried this before was kinda fun). So for example 1/72 Finnish fighters, 1/72 German jets, 1/35 Afrika korps, 1/35 trucks of all nations, 1/35 motorbikes, 1/72 flying boats, 1/72 Spitfires, etc etc etc. All the themes are interchangeable as are the kits included in them, the idea is simple i put 4-6 kits on the bench review them and ask you guys to vote via the comment box, which ever wins is the kit i build. Obviously to do this i need a large variety of kits. Secondly my channel was monetized in July, don't get excited the earnings are tiny compared to the time spent and financial outlay to date. Lets just say that i have roughly 400 kits and that if i build 1 per week (that's hopeful, but i do get 4 days off) for eight years? in that time i'll build all of them, during this time at current RUclips earnings, pretty much all the kits will be paid for by youtube. All i have to do is build them LOL, PMSL, FFS, FML.......hmmm what have i got myself into ? obviously at some point i also need to stop buying these damn things........that's the potential problem LOL. i hope you have time to watch my unfolding EPIC/SAGA/VOYAGE TO INSANITYVILLE best regards andy be seeing you.
Hello again @alexeveryman5080 I think the 4th whats in the box i did was a Mistercraft Spitfire, lots of people told me it was crapola, i checked Scalemates and discovered it was originally a Heller, also reboxed by Smer which i also had, so i built it 50/50 with the Smer, it was far from perfect but i habit of smashing things together in 15 - 20 mins at the time. Ive put the links below in case you are interested. Please do let me know how you get on with your PE-2, would be interested to know, especially the decals which many seem to say are poor. ruclips.net/video/jL5bBq85Ka4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/VLiv5qLo20M/видео.html
Hi Andy, Nice to wake up to another unboxing. The Mister box Fiesler Storch kits may be Heller kits. Meng do a 1/35 scale tank crew for the Renault 17 that includes a dispatch rider and motor bike. The bike looks like an interesting kit by itself . Incidentally I bought the Thunder Model , US Military Motorcycle Indian 741B that you reviewed some time back.Haven’t built it yet but it will get done sometime soon. Also bought the IBG BMW R12 with sidecar. It can be built as a military bike or civilian version, which I think will be bit of a challenge in 1:35 scale but I will give it a go. All the best.
morning @ericbeaton7211, that Indian is a little beauty. The Pitt road Japanese bike is interesting as i think i read that the wheel on the sidecar is also powered for extra traction, not sure if that is the case for others. I need to find an Itlaian motorcycle as well they do make some nice ones. good luck with your Indian.

All i have to do is build them LOL, PMSL, FFS, FML.......hmmm what have i got myself into ? obviously at some point i also need to stop buying these damn things........that's the potential problem LOL.
i hope you have time to watch my unfolding EPIC/SAGA/VOYAGE TO INSANITYVILLE
best regards andy

Bùilding Mistercraft Pe-2 now, old Zvezda tooling, ok for the price. DB-3 is also an old Zvezda I believe.

@@TheNoviceModeller Thanks for the links, decals look rather thick will see how they go.
@@TheNoviceModeller Thanks Andy.
Morning!! May i ask, what makes you spend such a hugecamount of miney so quickly into the hobby??!
You could run your own EBay shop now!!😊 K

LMFAO!! Thanks for the laughs! Yup! That JUST ABOUT answered my question!😂 Be seeing you too! K
Yes well the postman hates me, the guys who collect the cardboard recycling hate me, my bank manager hates me and my therapist quit on me, luckily +/- i am a singleton so i don't get any problems from a better half PMSL.
A G1 WOW ,I have a M.B 6 kit by AZ in the stash
@unclegargameldgargameld4888 the G1 is a little beaut, i cant wait to mess my MB5 up LOL. is your 6 built?, is a nice looking plane.
@@TheNoviceModeller not yet though the cockpit interior & some bits were painted by the guy I bought it off , just finishing a CAC Boomerang & started a Revell Boeing P6 peashooter
Peashooter in blue by any chance?
@@TheNoviceModeller may be . they were metal construction so I usually paint them aluminium as an undercoat ( miss any with the top coat looks like its weathered LOL)
Have seen others do it this way, i will have to try it at some point.
I wish I could find alot of those in the USA
Can you not buy a big bos like i do and get them shipped in? or are the import taxes a nightmare?
Nice
Hello there @markoleary8810 and thanks for watching. Glad you like, more of this to come. BIG PLAN starts end of month.
Be seeing you.
Hi if you don’t mind me asking how many models have you got to build now 😂
Hello there @andyhorne2654 and thanks for watching. TBH i haven,t counted them recently but its about 400, i have an ongoing joke that my intention is to build a small hut out of kit boxes that i can sit in, the boxes are the bricks LOL. I had a similar question this morning from @ktcooki276 if you would be so kind as to scroll down the comments bar the real "PLAN" for my kits is outlined there.
best regards andy

👍👍
thanks again @anjkovo2138
Decals from Mistercraft are pure sh..! You will need to replace them or simply use Microscale Liquid decal film ( I use that for old or Mistercraft decals).
Hello there @dejansvrljuga6891 and thanks for watching, i have the Valejo variant, will be sure to use it o these, lots of people have the same opinion, must admit am curious to find out.
@@TheNoviceModeller Hello Andy! I made several Mistercraft models and a few ended up in the trash because they are simple Mistercraft junk and the decals just fall apart in water. You can try with the ones you won't use to see how they react in the water, but liquid decal film is a must for these 'decals'...
I like MisterCraft which is always a challenge to build
XIX=19 X=10, I=1 IX=10-1=9
Hello there @makettezzunk and thanks for watching. Thanks for the Roman numerals lesson, i actually learned the basic 1-12 off a clock when i was a kid, though that was a long time ago and the 9 LOL kind of got me befuddled there. you have some awesome skills with your kit building. regards andy
@@TheNoviceModeller Thank you
Yeah, they should call it BeerBay😊
hello there @tonyparker4211 and thanks for watching. LOL you are most definitely correct on that statement.
Hate to tell you this but the place I buy model kits from has the Tamiya 35081 Half track for only £18 with roughly £3 - £4 shipping from Poland. I buy a lot of stuff on ebay, but mainly when the place I buy from in Poland doesn't have that particular item in stock ! Shipping is always dirt cheap with GLS, plus you get a points system, for every certain amount you buy from them you get points, and if like you, you buy a lot, then those points add up very quickly and you can get loads of free kits like that. Let me know if you want to find out more !
Hell there @subliminalstyrene811 always on the lookout for bargains, so if you know a good place to get bargain kits i'd love to know.
Poland is is good country for obtaining low prices and postage.
