Hello there @tonymorgan9533 and thanks for watching. LOL I'd love to do one of these every week, unfortunately my bank manager and my therapist are getting very concerned about by RUclips antics. I have just had a look at your current listings and have messaged you on ebay. cheers andy.
Just found your channel and what a breath of fresh air it is compared to some others Keep up the good work By the way Im a 60 year old bloke in Yorkshire who has gone thru several mud life crisis so Im restarting military modelling ww2 such as Tamiya kits. Ive found my huge box of 20 or so made vehicles and unmade Tamiya kits that I put into storage in 2010!!!! Ive even got a whole ww2 wargame layout boxed away with 30 allied and axis tanks and vehicles that Id forgotten about during a house move years ago Happy days eh
Hello there @stuartblakeston3986 and thanks for watching. LOL like yourself i had a box of 1/35's that had been in the attic for 20 years, i put a vid up for them a few weeks ago, will probs refresh some of them or practice on them. Not sure what your wargame is but i have MB Axis and Allies knocking around somewhere and used to have some of the Avalon Hill games including Panzer Leader and Panzerblitz, alas i sold them on ebay 20 years ago for buttons and they now go for many quids. Good luck with restarting building kits, i myself only re-started 6 months ago and thought hmmm youtube for some reason, obviously i consider myself a novice and occasionally refer to myself as a "muppet who makes models badly" i think thats the difference between myself and many other RUclipsrs, i dont take myself too seriously, i am just having fun. best regards andy be seeing you.

Hiya Andy. Fantastic haul there mate! Loads of interesting kits and subjects by loads of different manufacturers. You're never predictable Andy! 🤣 Love the matchbox kits as they remind me of my youth but the messerschmitt America bomber looks really cool as does the B29 and any of the Tamiya kits, the T34 especially, are cool. Love to see your haul unboxings as we get to see kits most of us never would. Cheers Andy, enjoy your days off. Be seeing you.....
cheers Bobby, currently building Enola Gay, the amerika bomber is pretty awesome and for me was a must have kit when i found it, as are the LRDG's i'll be whats in the boxing these over the next week.
Love seeing other peoples model hauls, but this one frightened me. Although there are a few kits in this haul that I wouldn't mind getting, the thought of paying £720 for just this lot gives me chills. Kits are just getting more and more expensive, I hope you have a job that pays well enough to keep buying such expensive hauls ;)
Hello there @subliminalstyrene811 and thanks for watching. I often joke that my bank manager and therapist are very concerned about my outrageous kit stash. Many of these kits are purchased for projects that i am intending to do in the future, that are largely aimed at maintaining a youtube channel, but also follow my own personal interests and subjects that i have discovered when sniffing around modelling and historical themes. The bizarre reality is that currently if i was to build 1 kit per week from my stash i would probably have enough to last me 8 years, so either i will be Youtubing for 8 years or if at some point i hit a brick wall, then the kits can be Ebayed and the bulk of what i paid will be returned. Obviously there is also the situation that RUclipsrs are paid (not very well in my case) by RUclips, so if say i was to continue as i am for 8 years and i was to build all these kits, there is a very real possibility that the kit stash becomes self financing. As far as my work is concerned i don't work an incredibly well paid job....... but i do have the option of almost unlimited overtime, most of my expenditure to date has come from O/T, i am also single, no kids, no car so my expendable income reaches further than some. Anyhoo hope you enjoyed my bit of lunacy, plenty more kits to review and build, and yes the occasional haul or two. Incidentally which was your favourite kit? will happily do you a review. best regards andy be seeing you.
Hello there @markwhyatt4830 and thanks for watching. I am a midlife crisis suffering singleton who has a RUclips channel to maintain, who doesn't drive, does lots of overtime and has an ambition to make a small hut out of kit boxes. If you have 8 years to spare i am sure i will get most of my kits built PMSL.
Nice! Learned of a few new names and some models to want. Trying to get the stash below 10 before I buy more. I might fail and convince myself that stash building is the purpose of life though.
Just give in and build yourself a hut out of kit boxes, i am pretty sure i have enough now, though i do have about another 20 boxes to unpack over the next month or so..........ooooooops.

Hello again @carlwear1249 Matchbox did make some unusual kits. I saw the Arado 234 with the V1 and thought it was rather interesting, unfortunately the ebayer was selling it as a combo deal with the dornier so i had to buy both. I am thinking that a hobby 2000 Arado 234 kit might actually be better quality as this is hmmm showing its age but an interesting and i think quite rare kit to build at some point.
@@TheNoviceModeller The one I regret never getting years ago was the Churchill AVRE bridgelaying tank. It has a bridge hanging off the front of it. The real bridge was 60ft long. Also the matchbox bridgelaying tank is different to the Airfix bridgelaying one.
Andy what a fantastic unboxing. Definitely liked the first two Matchbox kits and that America bomber. It is always interesting to see how the European eBay works and comes up with kits I've never seen. I don't have that much variety pop up in my searches. The B-29 looks good too. USA actually flew an early version painted in OD over Berlin for propaganda . Plus , we weren't sure if the B-29 bombay could be modified to carry the bombs especially Fat Man, so we had a secret squadron of Lancasters train for the mission along with the 509th Bomb Group. You have definitely given me some ideas for my kit list, plus you've got a lot if ideas going for dioramas. Does the B29 come with the bomb models? Bocks Car had one hell of time pulling off dropping FAT Man and barely made it back. I do enjoy these openings , just rebuilding the budget a bit after that " car emergency" . But will start a new search soon. There is a kit of He-111 with a special nose full of explosives and an Me 109 on top called the Mistle I think. The Germans were masters at radio control and fly by wire. But I better sign off and let you get building . Cheers Bob.
Hi Bob, i have just done the whats in the box for the B-29 will be up tomorrow and yes it comes with both bombs. i do remember reading about the Lancaster squadron that was in the U.S just in case the B-29 had issues. There are a few interesting He111's out there that you can get, the zwilling which was a 5 engine two fuselage joined together contraption glider tug and the He111a & HE111E by a company called Roden, which are earlier variants and are almost unrecognizable, not seen the mistle though, might have to seek it out. i do like the Amerikabomber, probably my favourite in this haul, oddly similar to the B29, will be doing a whats in the box for that shortly also.

I think there are 3 Chevvy LRDG kits available 89785 (2 figs + Italeri 20mm AA gun), 32407 (7 figs), 35092 (2 figs). In the UK you can pay between £35 if you're extremely lucky, to £80 if you're desperate, the Chevvy's normally make £60-£70, i paid £130 incl postage for 89885, 32407 and SAS Jeep 35033 so by my reckoning i paid about £57 per Chevvy, £12 jeep, £4 postage which is reasonable. So i reckon $87 cad is a good price, just depends on how much you want/need it, as at some point someone will pay $67 or $107. Plus i would possibly say that 32407 with its 7 figures (2 x Tamiya & 5 x Masterbox MAS 3598) is just slightly the better kit, but there are loads of after market add on figures and accessories you can get hold of for this kit.
