No they have not, the instructions are frankensteined from 3 generations of instructions-photo, line drawing and detailed line drawing. Same for painting guides, half are photos half drawings. However you get the best plastics they have for the kit plus usually 3d printed extras, which look really good.
I love seeing your warehouse. I always see something and buy it. OK, first on my list is the US Marines Sherman. Never enough armor choices from the PTO.
I am so happily pumped for you Andy with your Mega success of wonderment & joy. You were just yesterday a modest hobby shop owner doing diorama stuff. 3-D add ins are logical. I just discovered a 1/48 scale U.S. Navy catapult 3-D printed & a 1/32 scale catapult!!!!!!! Can you imagine the printer used for those?
Dragon was pretty much on top for a few years when it came to WWll German armor, particularly Tiger 1 kits, and they invested a lot in research with David Byrden heping with translating all the stuff that makes a Tiger a Tiger but in 35th scale,he was in a cpl of the same facebook groups as me and when someone mentioned anything about the Tiger, regardless of relevancy,he would make sure to correct em if they had any details incorrect and a few of us started saying stuff wrong intentionally just to get him going,we thought it was hilarious but he loves talking about tanks and he absolutely knows his stuff, but anyway, when Ryfield and Border came on the scene Dragons been left in the dust but apparently theyre not going down yet and thats great, makes the market more competitive,I remember getting the Wittman Tiger brand new for something like 80 bucks which is ridiculous, now you can get a Tiger 1 with a full interior for 80 bucks,Dragon was busting heads, glad to see em back releasing stuff
Great news! Dragon has done some great kits, and now it looks like they will finally be at competitive prices with additional goodies. Congratulations Andy.
Great kits that build well into finely detailed replicas. I've always been a fan since they first started and have never had any more issues with their kits than with any other manufacturer. Great to see them coming back strong.
For your information, the M4A4 Sherman with the 60lb tulip bombs was a Guards Armoured Division vehicle, the 1st Bn Cold stream Guards tried them first, and managed to get them from RAF Typhoon crews, I did a lot of research into them and had never ever seen one built, so I set about building a Dio with 2 Firefly's with them fitted, and I'm about to sell the Dio after some 5yrs of building it up
Great news! Really like their figures! The one vehicle kit I'm really interested in is the 15 cm SIG 33 auf Panzerkampfwagen I Ohne Aufbau Ausf.B. It's the one with the massively tall shield and the 150mm gun; early war SPG.
This is good news! I've always been a fan of the Dragon kits. I thought they were going out of business a few years ago. Great that AHHQ is a direct importer and the prices are more competitive.
The German half-track that was command center. The structure along side the hood is a modified exhaust port. The reason for this is to muffle the engine noise for obvious reasons. i.e. hearing the radio while the engine is running, staying quiet as possible so that your command isn't compromised. Batteries were primitive in those days so they had to be charged often. That's my hypothesis. I don't think that it would be a tea steamer. Those would be on British Armor. 😅
Love Dragon I used to build them professionally for Museums, high end collectors and online model magazines. Not seeing any W.W.2 Planes kits AIMS makes some awesome conversions for them too.. Hope they upgraded them as well. Can anyone tell me why not one single model company makes a DO-217K in 1/48 or 1/32 scale? You can get crappy ones in 1/72 scale and old conversion kits for Revells old 1/48 DO-217E if you are lucky enough to find one of those old conversions that the canopy hasn't turned yellow. No one makes a JU- 390 kit either no even in 1/72. I built 1/72 JU-390 for a high end collector in Japan out of 2 Revell JU-190 kits so it would not take much for Revell to add a few extra parts and make a few small changes to its current 1/72 JU-290 kit if they ever wanted to release a 390 kit.
That bulge on the side of the bonnet of the Sd.kfz.251 Ausf C are armoured cowls to protect the engine ventilation covers. They were a standard feature on the Ausf C.
A guy who acted as a Dragon sales rep at large scale figure shows used to live in my neighborhood. His basement was filled with tons of 1/6 plus a lot of homemade items including a European street scene flanked by buildings with detailed rooms and a Ju87 Stuka hanging from the ceiling.
Great Video Andy, Thanks for sharing and making everyone envy with your warehouse. glad to hear they are at last reducing thier prices wondering if this will apply to us modellers here in the U.K. you mentioned U.S $50.00 which here in the U.K is about £37.00. I stopped buying Dragon kits many years ago because of the over priced kits and have been buying the newer brands like RFM and Miniart etc.. I also like to think the instructions will have improved but wishfull thinking on many of us..
Andy, any plan to bring over a few of the 1/6 scale kits that Dragon made/make? And looks like i will be having to order some more kits as there were a couple in there i have been trying to get.
Hey, Andy fantastic to have more kits coming out, out from Dragon. Just a Question when are you going to open a BIG Warehouse here in Australia. I would love to have your Warehouse for a model room. Keep up the great modelling, we all learn so much that makes everyone better modellers
Remember a few years back when Dragon was going to release 1/35 Star Wars kits and figures? How cool would that have been? I never did find out why they never went forward with them.
Never enough time, money or space!!! Complete eye candy mmmmm. In the UK but hells bells to spend an hour or three perusing your store.!. Googling that M1A1 75mm early .... I need to sate the craving.
I miss his model building which is what drew me to his channel in the beginning and I really enjoyed. Now it's mostly reviews and new products so I don't follow as avidly as I used to.
I have enjoyed putting together many Dragon tank kits, but I always buy Tamiya or replacement market one piece tracks. Assembling Dragon style tracks is one of the most tedious things about building non-Tamiya kits.
You guys are going to drive me into bankruptcy! Sooo many new models to build. I'm a modeler since the mid-60s. And I am 72 years old. So you'll be getting an order from me. One quick question. Where have you been all my life? 😅
Let's hope they've upgraded their instructions...😁
😂
And the tooling
Reading the riddle and lies of the dragon instructions is part of the experience 😂
They aren’t that bad
No they have not, the instructions are frankensteined from 3 generations of instructions-photo, line drawing and detailed line drawing. Same for painting guides, half are photos half drawings. However you get the best plastics they have for the kit plus usually 3d printed extras, which look really good.
Love that SdKFz 7 and 88 Flak!
Wow, excelent video, thanks for showing !
You Rock it Andy
You are the man moving and shaking in the Hobby
God bless Andy
Thanks for all you do
Thank you, Don, much appreciated my friend. Take care - Andy
Incroyable production de DRAGON !! On a envie de tout acheter , un monde á pàrt !! Thanks ...
It's like a walk down memory lane with several of those kits!!
bad memories
Congrats on becoming a Dragon importer
So glad we have you as part of our hobby Andy.
Magnificent , I love it. Some kits I haven’t seen for ages. Great idea 💡 Dragon, thank you Andy. Good job.
OMG, beautiful. Ordered the 88 and 8ton truck combo, comes with figures too
super...send some to Canada....Thankssssssss and Hello to John
wow Dragon...super top of the line models, especially the aircraft.
20 years ago you mean... ;)
@@JensAndree ...maybe...I'm thinkin that lion roar and dragon were the same...
Looks like huge inventory of stocked shelves ready to go.
The hobby is getting better all the time.
By re-releasing old, often badly tooled, kits? Throwing in a few 3D printed parts doesn't help the fact imho...
Yes it is Howard
I look forward to building the StuH.42 :)
I love seeing your warehouse. I always see something and buy it.
OK, first on my list is the US Marines Sherman. Never enough armor choices from the PTO.
Hopefully you can get their WWII Japanese armor kits!

Cool, i have tons of dragon figure kits in my stash, but saw a couple i dont have or have never seen before. Good job Andy
It's great they are putting crews in some of the vehicles. It was hard to find some figures to make up a crew
Wow, fantastic! Dragon kits are still number 1 for me. Thanks for showing Andy. Greetings from Germany, Steve!
Awesome !!
Love Dragon kits!

Great combination. Love older Dragon kits.
Me gusta tu negocio ! Espero algún día poder viajar a Inglaterra!

the Sdkfz 251 C had that feature above the mud guards as standard and was removed for the "D" variant
Great!!!
Amazing inventory! I just want to walk through there....
Lots of nice additions to the kits
Dragons here in the UK are stupid expensive. £65-75.00 in most cases. Love the new boxings with just the logo on the front.
I was thinking just the other day, that I wish Dragon put Figures in their Kits!!! I've loved Dragon [DML!] for over 30 years!
Whoa....that's a LOT of plastic! Excellent news, some of those have OOS forever.
Would love to see them produce the firefly Sherman in 1/6 scale like they were supposed to do back in the day
A Stug would sell instantly
Great to see Dragon kits back.
All nice kits
This is good news! I've always been a fan of the Dragon kits. I thought they were going out of business a few years ago. Great that AHHQ is a direct importer and the prices are more competitive.
Those Sherman light guards look amazing. Thanks for sharing

The first Panther was a D btw. Hull machinegun is slotted and closed in this case, vs the ballmount on the A, if I'm not mistaken...
Just in time for your holiday shopping.... 😉

Some of the Cyber Hobby branded aircraft kits were great, hope they re-appear too.
Outstanding!!!
Half track with the 88 is awesome
Lot of nice kits, when are they going to be posted on the site
they are being added right now most are up.
Cool as always. 👍
Wow! Another 78 versions of a Panther!!
That bulge on the side of the bonnet of the Sd.kfz.251 Ausf C are armoured cowls to protect the engine ventilation covers. They were a standard feature on the Ausf C.
14:40 That armored cowl was always on the C variants. I believe it covers air intakes and/or helps with cooling.
So many kits that I want, it’s almost like Christmas.
Their 1:6 stuff will sell well for you

Osprey Military book New Vanguard 25 SdKfz 251 half- track 1939-1945 has pictures of that type Ausf C with the armoured cowls
some modern infantry set from dragon would be nice to see , idk think they've release anything new since the Bush Era:))

I remember their 1:144 jets from back in the 90's.
Still nobody has surpassed those.
Hopefully there will be some 1:6 coming along
Thanks Andy for being a Dragon.😉
hoping for a t-28/t-95
I love dragon with the exception of the track system and the price
The dragon Sherman's look great knocked out
Let’s hope they’ve upgraded their quality…..
Moving on up in the world eh :D
How is their Customer Service as to Parts and Decal replacements???
It used to be nonexistent.
I’ll just hand over my savings now then Andy lol 😂
Wonder if Dragon will ever issue that 1/6th Firefly they teased?
Dang..I want one of each
Remember a few years back when Dragon was going to release 1/35 Star Wars kits and figures? How cool would that have been? I never did find out why they never went forward with them.
A 1/35 AT-AT...yes, that would have been something! 😁

Any chance of news on a possible re-issue the 1/6th scale Dragon Sherman? Thanks.
Wouldn't you know it, I just bought one used for$200.00! I will need some parts however! Its been sitting for years, but 99% complete!
Do you know if they'll be reissuing 1/700 kits too??
Hey Andy, will your website have all the new stuff listed soon?
Thanks
Larry
4:12 that US Army Airborne Normandy with the mohawk guy looks like the one I had way back
do you also import the 1.16 scale figures they used to do?
hizler youth division! 😂😂😂😂😂 how charming!
I know...yeesh..
Hipster 😂
@@Cormano980 I'm sorry you got hipstered..they have a program to help..but you'll need to get rid of the man bun.
Any chance we’ll see the Dragon selection that good out of the Canadian warehouse?
That combo set would be perfect in 1/16.When are we going to get some trucks in this scale both US and German.
Will we be able to order sets of Magic Tracks to replace the horrible DS tracks???
Good thing this is just in time for the D-day anniversary..../s ( it now being mid September)
hopefully they are going to release the UH-1 Helo crew and Vietnam Infantry Weapons kits
That was like my dream Christmas! And I really wish America had just given us the Sherman V, could have saved us a lot of cash 🙂
when are you going to start building models again
I miss his model building which is what drew me to his channel in the beginning and I really enjoyed. Now it's mostly reviews and new products so I don't follow as avidly as I used to.
Probably never I guess money is pouring in so time to move on
Interesting!
Try buying these kits in Canada. Need to take out a second mortgage.
Cool
I have enjoyed putting together many Dragon tank kits, but I always buy Tamiya or replacement market one piece tracks. Assembling Dragon style tracks is one of the most tedious things about building non-Tamiya kits.
Was wondering? When are you Andy going to do anymore model building videos? Thank you.
Will Dragon be reissuing their 1/35 UH-1N Huey Gunship?
Canada needs dragon... Andy

Do you have the Huey UH-1D by Dragon.
Panzer I DAK version has my interest...

Good, now where is that 1/72 Saturn IB. Come on Dragon.
Dragon and other brands here 🇵🇭are also very expensive.😎
