Hi Kevin, I love your videos, I am from Cuba and I would love to see a painting of cuban landscape, mountains, palm trees, river and a farmer with a few animals. That is a classic painting for cuban artist, is almost mandatory hehe. You are great!!
Really like the way you do mountains with snow. It would be great if your paintings were made into a coloring book for us that can't paint but like to color outdoor scenes for blending and hi-lighting.

In some videos you say you have primed only half of the canvas - but don’t explain with what primer? Priming the canvas is an important step and is missed in almost all of your videos. Thank you!! 🙏

Hi Kevin, I have been following your work since you released your very first technique series. I have churned out multiple paintings since then but recently had to quit painting after having a baby. She is the about same age as your son! I am worried about the toxicity of oil paints and it’s impact on my family. Would love to hear your perspective on this problem. How do ensure the safety of you and your loved ones while being exposed to chemicals from oil painting?
Hey, thanks for the support! I understand about not having time after the baby LOL. That's a great question. I only paint with oils that are certified AP non-toxic. This is the same certification that things like school paint and crayons get. I defiantly don't have any paint thinner also. (haven't used that in years, even before the baby) Instead I use baby oil to clean the brushes. It works well, but takes more effort and paper towels. I do not clean the brushes during the painting as that can leave a residue in the brush that would thin the oil paint. Simply wiping out your brushes works during the painting. Hope this info helps!
