May I suggest if your serious in landscape..seascape painting..read a book on composition. Knowing the basic foundation of the composition is key just as color theory. Hope you don't mind the feedback. Like your cabin paintings...in time Your going to get so much better...you've got it...

Moon paintings can really create a nice dramatic atmosphere. This one is very nice and calm to look at. Very nice techniques for this. I am working just now on a moon lit beach with low waves. I found some reference photos that have calm beaches cause I want a very calm look to the image
I used to love painting landscapes in oil but living on a meager social security check now I can no longer afford it. Everything has gotten too darn expensive. Besides, I used to use Gamblin paints, made here in Oregon. I remember coming home from work on a Friday night, start a painting, and before I knew it the sun was coming on Saturday morning. Loved it.
If your work is worth it to you, perhaps try do youtube videos with a donation option for people to contribute towards your paint. From one artist to another, I would not mind sacrificing a small fraction of my wages to help you going. If anyone clubs in little amounts to stock you up, you can shine again :) Paint to real artists should be a given right. Not become so expensive that even the least of wages cant afford. The world we live in, everyone wants to be a damn painter and it is now considered a hobby for all and the moment you add hobby or healthy to a label, prices hikes badly. I am sad you can not paint :(
I've saved a lot of money by switching to water soluble oil paints. I don't have to buy thinner, and I end up using about half the amount of paint, because my brushes are so easy to wash now. This is also greatly contributed to my paintings no longer becoming muddy
Beautiful bro..i love the colors in the waves and the moonlight reflection that shines in the water..I feel a breeze in the air with the smell of salt..and i hear the sound of a faint seagull in the distance as well as the sound of the ocean...
I have never painted . I have no interest in painting . I have no idea how I got here BUT am glad that I did. You sir have a talent . Keep up the amazing work !

Tonight makes the seventh time I've watched this video - FINALLY FOUND IT AGAIN!!! *WHEW!!!*. Am hopefully going to be painting it FIRST when I get my supplies on the 3rd of next month. Ain't too far away - YAAAY!!! AM SO VERY EXCITED!!!
Kevin, I use black gesso on from Time to time but after seeing black, blue and red on a white canvas I'll never use it again for night painting.. that color and sky is perfect.. really beautiful and very realistic looking.. I live on the east coast of Florida and let me tell you brother, that is what it looks like exactly.. The black gesso makes it to dark.. Not real looking !! This is beautiful! And the moon and the light around the moon is perfect also.. very professional art work right there.. Great job Kevin!! 👍👍🌞🌻✌😎

I would have taught everyone interested in art by holding their hand :) .... coz I think art .. yoga ... meditation ... are all the same and no one should try to make money out of it because it's God gifted to a large extent ... I can sketch a little bit ( nothing great ).. and I know the kind of happiness it brings when I get a sketch a little right ... it's a feeling you can't explain ... wish I was really really good at it and teach people for free .......... Love this painting, and, have watched this video more than five times ... Hope I can paint one like it - or kinda like it. With watching this and so many of your other videos, and, knowing how you can clean the brushes with baby oil, it's made me want to get into oil painting in addition to Acrylics like I'm doing, now.
