    Beautiful blanket and you were very easy to follow. Im not a beginner but the only thing i knew how to do was granny squares and they werent perfect. I just started to pick up crochet again after several years so im trying new things and this was one. And again thanks for being a great teacher and taking the time and patient to go slow.

    I LOVE THIS PATTERN, BONNIE! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a rectangular granny.......I’m making lapghans for nursing home/COVID and recovering COVID pts, with large print scripture cards tucked in!
    I’ve never used this type of yarn in my 45+ years of crocheting! (How boring I am! Lol lol lol!😅😂🤣😇) I once purchased “enough yarn” (you know how 5hat goes, ya always get 1-2 more skeins of the same lot number 🙄) needless to say, I spent too much money, but that wouldn’t have bothered me since it was for a gift..........IF I COULD HAVE ACTUALLY CROCHETED WITH THAT YARN!!!! 🤭😱 It was the very “fuzzy/furry” yarn, super soft, perfect for this brandy-new baby blanket I thought I was making. SOOO..... I could NOT find my stitches in between the “furry fuzz”! I became so frustrated, I gave the entire bag of yarn away (complete with warning label 😅😂) so I’m a bit wary of anything thicker etc.
    I know I don’t have to use this yarn, but it just looks SOOOOOO soft and comfy, and it doesn’t seem to split at all. So, come payday, I, going to get a few skeins and go for it......with Jesus at my side, of course! 🕊❤️🙏🙋‍♀️ THANK YOU AGAIN, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR WORK/MINISTRY, IN JESUS’S WONDERFUL NAME, AMEN. 🕊❤️🙋‍♀️😘🙏🌹

    Hi. Can you tell me which yarn I can use which will be comparable to the yarn used in your video? I can’t find the yarn you are using. I’d love to try this! Thanks.

      Any #4 or worsted weight yarn or even a #5 will work. Lots of options on this design.😊

      I'll actually be heading to SC to care for my mother-in-law in a couple of weeks. Would love to visit your country! I never had the time or money to even take a cruise when living in Florida. Maybe it is time?

    I have plans to make this in blues for my teenage son. He is autistic and likes to put his toes through the large spaces of his afghans. I made a different design for him when he was 7. It finally had such a huge hole, I had to toss it. My question is, could I do an extended double crochet down to the chain below the current row, instead of a chain one, between clusters to fill in the spaces?

    Mine is bowing out like crazy and the corners aren't straight. How do I keep everything lying flat and straight

    Can you use a 4 worsted weight on this blanket?

      Sure, just be sure to match your hook size to your yarn choice.

    Bonnie, do you ever do this like the easy granny square where you add the extra cluster so you can just continue on without having to connect each row?

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  3 года назад

      Yes, I have that design right here on my home page: ruclips.net/video/T-2865y_diI/видео.html

      So you have done that with the rectangle as well?

    Do you make a solid granny square? I thought you did, but I couldn't find it. Also, a lady at the church is always cold, so I thought I would make her a covering. Like a shall, but not with a point. Do you have any idea on a measurement? Have a Wonderful & Blessed Day!

      Yes, if you wish this rectangular shape. You can make this as large or as small as you wish.
