    ABOUT TODAYS VIDEO: Dog Gut Health Symptoms
    The symptoms to look out for are, skin allergies, inflammatory bowel disease, thyroid issues, arthritis, behavior problems such as aggression and obsessive-compulsive disorders or self-biting, autoimmune disease and cancer from long term chronic inflammation.
    Other dog gut health symptoms include food allergies, autoimmune issues, liver dysfunction, EPI or Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, diabetes, weight gain, low energy and a slow metabolism.
    And the causes of leaky gut in dogs are, an underperforming diet, low in quality nutrition from processed, grain-based or grain-free starchy kibbles, veterinary and over the counter drugs and other pharmaceuticals including antibiotics, steroids, NSAIDs (or non-steroidal anti-inflammatories such as Rimadyl, Metacam, Deramaxx and Previcox, deworming drugs, flea and tick treatments and over-vaccination.
    So what can you do to restore health to your dogs leaky gut?
    The first thing you can do is to minimize vaccinations, none is best and certainly no more than every three years as per AVMA guidelines if you must. Stop using pharmaceutical drugs as much as possible and use the natural alternatives.
    Start by adding a high quality probiotic to your dogs food at every meal to help build friendly bacteria in the gut and bring some relief to your dogs digestive system with less gas and much improved bowel movements, and I'll leave a link to my favorite probiotic option in the description below this video and the link above.
    Perhaps the most important of all is to improve your dogs diet. And for this I wrote the ebook Feed Your Dog Better to help kibble feeding dog owners resolve their dogs health from health issues such as leaky gut that show up from the long term feeding of kibble.
    You can simply upgrade your dogs regular kibble diet, by adding in certain extras to the meals, to boost the nutritional content of the food to resolve many day to day health issues such as leaky gut, arthritis, allergy related skin and coat problems, digestive complaint, hot spots, diarrhea issues and yeast infections.
    Again, I'll leave a link to my ebook Feed Your Dog Better that covers everything you'll need to really set your dog on the path to great health in the description at the link above.

    Subscribed, hit the bell (all) shared videos and binge watching! I feed a fresh food diet, rotate foods, give pro/prebiotics, have done Leaky Gut protocols for months now. He still chews his feet, skin breaks out in small rashes every day. Even elimination diet has not been clear. He is 68lb Lab, 2 yrs. old.

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  2 года назад +1

      Hi Jannell, thank you for subscribing. Difficult to know without a case history but let me give some pointers. So it's been a months? It can take 3-12 months to clear years of nutritional and vet drug/vaccine abuse.And that of course depends on the diet being introduced, supplements and what's being done to clear/detox the system.
      So what your doing is great but your dog still has alleries.
      My Recommendations:
      24 hour fast every Sunday: This clears the liver/kidneys/pancreas etc. Great health aid and allergy cure. No problem for your dog to fast.
      Keep as much carbohydrates out of the diet as possible and definitely NO refined/simple/white carbs/sugars ever.
      ZERO vaccines ever: absolute NO-No for dog health.
      Check out my video using oregano oil and coconut or olive oil mixed together and lathered all over the dog, left on for an hour or two then washed off with gentle shampoo: This heals the skin condition and diet prevents it's return. Use this Oatmeal Pet Wash: amzn.to/3CYUBjw so you don't damage the coat/skin.
      Give probiotics at every meal. Start at half dose and work up over several days: amzn.to/3xqa2i0
      Feed lots of aldente cooked and well crushed/blended veg to clear the kidneys.
      I've linked a few videos to watch:

      @@DanScott1 Thank you! I do give a pro/ pre biotic daily and have changed companies since I saw no results. I buy zero treats unless they are one ingredient, zero kibble, but have started your advice on Oregano 20% for his constant paw licking. I also purchased your bentonite clay link from Amazon. He was in training to be a guide dog. The organization feeds only kibble. His first two years of life was kibble. He was released back to me for allergies. I will be purchasing the greens you mentioned as well in videos. I use ACV (Bragg brand) and Coconut oil already daily for months. I find you have the best videos by far. Thank you!

      @DanScott1  2 года назад +2

      @@jannellmeagher638 The greens you mentioned do have excellent probiotics/prebiotics in them, so you won't need separate probiotics.
      Bentonite is excellent for detoxing the body. Do give the dog a rest/fast from all food/supplements at least once per month for a 24 hr water only fast. This clears out the liver/kidneys/pancreas which is a good thing and will help towards clearing the feet chewing problem too.

      Vaccine injury is rife with auto immune issues but hardly discussed. The first shots last 7-11 years as researched by Ronald D Shultze PHD in the 90's. Annual re-vaccination is the worst issue, 3 years being the actual guideline but vets flout this.

      Also use the remedy in this video to stop tyhe blood and coat the digestive system to slow down infolammation: Slippery Elm Bark Powder - amzn.to/3CbHXx0

      You could break up the meals to slow things down. Add more fresh foods ie proteins and take out most carbs. Maybe a meaty bone to chew on in the garden to focus his attention.
      Fast him 24 hours water only once a week to clean him out. It's a good health boost too.

    My dog pooped a little blood clear stuff an yellow sringy stuff r these signs of gut problem laying around all timehe is on nex groud cehexan allergies are atopic derm suggestions b greatly appreciated stomach rumbling

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  9 месяцев назад

      Yes, probably leaky gut/inflammation/IBD issue. The skin issue suggests poor nutrition. Gut inflammation causing the blood in stool issue while the yellow stuff is probably lining/mucus.
      The first thing to do is get L-Glutamine: amzn.to/34wiNOn
      and 100ml syringe: amzn.to/47RliGS
      Add 5ml (1tsp) lglutamine to 2oz water, mix, syringe up and get it down your dogs throat, enough for your dogs size (above is for big dog). This will stop the inflammation within an hour.
      Ease out of that drug.
      Start a healthiet diet:
      If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (best) soft boiled (ok) and preferably organic, canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.
      If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18
      It's vital to give your dog a good Omega-3 oil option too, and I recommend the best in (Ahi flower oil with Green Lipped Mussel Oil): amzn.to/3Yx9Z10 This one's for dogs with the added benefit of being excellent for joint health too.
      Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables.
      Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/yeast/itchy/allergy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l
      If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbohydrates cause chronic inflammation, with itchy skin, yeast, poor gut health, ear infection, UTI's and hot spots, and nearly all kibbles are 40+% carbs!).
      Ketona has high protein at 47% (dogs thrive on proteins), correct fats at 15% and natural additives, so have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble. I recommend still adding the fresh foods even with the best kibble.
      By introducing fresh foods, really lowering carbs use, introducing greens, omega 3's, proteins and a better more suitable kibble, your dog will respond with healing and improved health over the next 12 weeks.
      Some must do's:
      Zero vaxx once adult (auto immune disease issues rife from over vaccination)
      If Rabies is mandatory, use Protect after shots: (Humic & Fulvic acid) amzn.to/33P2P1i
      Very low carbs in diet, 10% or less (cause of inflammation, poor gut health and later, cancer)
      No vet drugs, there's effective natural alternatives (always!)
      Feed a healthier diet with at least 50% fresh food in it.
      NO white foods ie white rice, potato, pasta..

    Dan we recently just adopted a senior Rat Terrier named Robbie who had lived at the dog shelter for 5 years. Very over weight could barely walk with skin issues. He's 13 will never again get vaccines, flea meds and so on. With your recommendation have been giving him Green Vibrance 1/2 teaspoon daily. Is there enough probiotics in GV or do I need to add the probiotics your recommending? Pretty sure he has leaky gut and test shows low thyroid! He's got the weight off from 20lbs to 16 lbs but still has red itchy skin.
    What I'm giving him:
    Freshpet Grain Free food

      What I recommend is eggs and canned sardines in water on top of the meat proteins and give the eggs raw.
      The colostrum is good for sensitivities in the gut. The kelp is your dogs thyroid medication and the diet/probiotics help with balancing from possible auto immune disease from drugs/vaxx/dry food.

    Why isn't there a kibble that already has a probiotic so we don't have to buy a separate expensive supplement?

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  4 месяца назад

      I don't think probiotics could survive the kibble cooking process. I think they have tried the spraying it on the kiible post cooking process but that's as far as I know of.
      The best probiotic is the soil based version as it has stronger organisms that can survive the digestive system to make it to the gut to do some good: amzn.to/3yoURqU

      If you can clean his teeth or get into the mouth, use neem bark powder by dipping a brush in coconut oil then the powder and give a short scrub all over and that's it. Or even getting your finger into coconut/bark powder, then rubbing on the gums/teeth once or twice daily will help stop the smell and keep plaque away also.
      Neem Bark Powder: amzn.to/2ULzroL

      @DanScott1  10 месяцев назад

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  10 месяцев назад

      @@mishisaxena1532 It's actually nutritious so there's no problem there. Obviously you want to fix the diet a little to include more fresh foods and less kibbles and here's some good help in that regard:

      14 days is enough. I've had this situation twice now, did you vaccinate recently? Give zero drugs. Give some probiotics to help the gut after those antibiotics: amzn.to/3J3IC7w
      And add some Guts & Glory (7 beef organs powder): amzn.to/337cxwj to meals.
      Also add some eggs, canned sardines (in water) and part cooked and blended veg to meals and reduce dry food by 30%.

    Dog “gut health”😂 They have concentrated acid in their digestive tract that can turn bones into jelly. Here are 5 things that contribute to robust bacteria in your dog’s gut.
    1) Cat sh*t
    2) Something dead they find on a walk
    3) meat from the fridge that is going bad
    4)sticks
    5) Another dog’s sh*t
