Guys what a super chilled video. A stunning location for your camp by that stream too. I’m looking to get into bikepacking this summer after last years disappointment. Keep sharing these videos guys. ATB Andy
We did Glen Kinglass earlier this year but then headed up the east side of Loch Etive, we camped on the lochside. Up via the lochside, boggy and a lot of brush to push through, up the road to the Kingshouse then back via the WHW to Victoria Bridge. A lot of pushing along the lochside, a fat bike would let you ride a bit more - needs more traffic!
What a beautiful land you live in. Scotland has been on my bucket list for a long time. And this is just the way I want to see it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thank you... we are very lucky to have such awesomeness on our doorstep. Glad you enjoyed our little film. Don’t take to long to book your Scotland trip! 😀🙏
Looked a grand wee adventure, those fat bikes take care of pretty much everything, you make it look effortless. Nice spot by the river too. 👌🏼 Cheers Robin
Beautiful landscape and filming! I'll be there as soon as things get back to normal. It looks a lot like our highlands in Sweden. Thanks for the inspiration!
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 I have some films on youtube. Swedish voice only but I´m planning on english text. Search for Pelle Lindbla uteliv. (Playlist) I also do a lot of fatbiking on snow. I have a cottage at a place called Grovelsjon which is a hotspot for hikers and bikers both winter and summer. It´s just on the border of Norway which means higher mountains and wilder nature in the neigborhood.
Another lovely wee video. Brings back memories of my own trip. Very different conditions though - I made the mistake of not carrying enough water and all the wee burns were frozen. The irony of being thirsty in Scotland ;-)
So just picked a video at random. Enjoyed trying to find your locations on google maps as I've never heard of Windsor ( except where our queen lives) and Essex County ( except that bit of land to the east of London) and loved the sound track. It's a great way to see somebody else's back Yard.
Alright you two. Another fantastic video! I live in Nottingham, so its great to see all these Scottish adventures you vloggers put together. Thank you for sharing and all the best on your next adventure. Cheers Gary
Really nice video. Camera work was ace - you had a couple of big 'camera retrieval' walks. I might reproduce your trip some time. Thanks for filming, Andy
The great advantage Scotland has over lots of other countries is ease of access to stunning places both time and distance. Less than 2 to 3 hrs for most of the population and you're in heaven, weather permitting.
Loved this. What a great video. Really enjoyed watching. Looked like a great route with some careful handling required on the bike towards the end ! 👍 Thanks
Cheers for this D&L. Another route to add to the hit list, looked magic. I've gone as far as loch Dochard but never biked thru so that's one to do for sure. Loved the gear, you seemed to pack minamilist size but plenty gear and luxury too! Atb A
Awesome outback ...ah i miss the Scottish Highlands.....wish i came back there to do these wonderful trails bikepacking...Could you tell us a bit about your bikes and gear....thanks a lot :)
Just love this. So inspiring. I have an electric fatbike, so tend to use B&Bs more than camping to recharge, but just bought myself a drone. Your drone footage really adds to the film and gives a real feel of the scale. Amazing stuff. Keep up the good work. :)
Ya dancer loved it 😍Great video as always One of my favourite places up there but I’ve never been that way before need to go . I done a loop of the Cairngorms this weekend Beautiful place but very unforgiving weatherwise I can see how people get in trouble up there
Great video guys. I liked this one especially as you started / finished in Taynuilt, the village I grew up in! I recognised many of the scenes, either from walking the West Highland Way, or from running the Loch Etive road back to Taynuilt. What an adventure you had! Thanks for sharing.
New subscriber here..im so inspired with your bike packing adventure..and i hope i could do it also someday...you might consider also of doing a bike packing here in Philippines
Would you not have been better to get off train at Bridge of Orchy? You could have avoided hill path from there to Inveroran by cycling round nice quiet road?
Hey John, Sorry we don’t but if you google bikepacking Glen Kinglass you may find something. Also read this, our blog. Has the route on it. Hope that helps. 😀👍 otatscotland.co.uk/new-blog/bikepackingglenkinglass?format=amp
Hi .. sorry for the slow reply. Yeah pretty much on the route and you’ll not miss it. There’s a few other wee spots a little further on also, just incase the weathers bonkers and you want a “little” more shelter. Enjoy the trip when it come mate. D&L 😊🙏
apologies if you answered this in the many comments already but what tent did you use as unless you had a secret support vehicle then it looked roomy but obviously packed v.small :)
Keith Greig hahah... The orange bag on the front of my bike is the MSR Access 2. Great tent! We always balance lightweight against comfort .. so it’s maybe not the most minimalist tent for Bikepacking, we’re comfy though..does us great! 😀👍
great vid guys! ..fatbikes too \o/ im a fatty rider & ive also just built my mrs a fatty, we going to be doing some bike packing! do you have a map for this route by any chance along with the B&B you stayed at :) ?
Do you guys use some sort of gps to map out your routes as I watched your other videos and it looks like you go off trail . So you you create routes for gps beforehand
LUCAS ... all we use is traditional map-reading. We do have OS Maps online that I use to plan a route. We don’t own a GPS . We use one of our mob phones if we need to check nav if we have to. 😀👍
Great video, it must take forever to get anywhere with all the great B roll you put in your videos lol, I noticed some of the b roll was done with the drone, I don't think I'd have the patience to keep going back for the camera. What fat bike do you ride? I see the green one is a kona. Many thanks👍
Loved it . Lisa showing off her cycling skills at the end.
She managed to stay on.... I don’t!! Lol 😂

Not sure how I missed this video!!! Its stunning!! Beautiful shots, need to explore this glen myself :-)
Thanks Barry... It’s a little beauty, and actually not to far out the way. It does have that middle of the wilderness feel to it though. 😀🌲
