  • Tour de Ben Nevis | Bikepacking Scotland | Scottish Highlands
A circumnavigation of Ben Nevis from Fort William, the Outdoor Capital of the UK. Its an opportunity to ride through some of the most rugged and isolated areas that the Scottish Highlands have to offer. You've gotta give this a go. We started and finished in the Braveheart car park.
We used a route that was on OS Maps. Search for Off Road: Ben Nevis circuit - explore.osmaps.com/route/1700...

A++++. A beautifully shot and edited video. Great atmospheric music as well.
The only drawback to doing this ride I can see is the midge. I had to retreat from Skye in 2014 as they were so bad. I was bitten in places I didn't even know I had through 5 layers of cycle clothing and a Goretex cycling jacket. It was the stuff of nightmares. I vowed never again.

Absolutely stunning. It must be a real pleasure for you both to love cycling and exploring, not many couples have the same passion for such adventures.
The footage is amazing, great editing skills, Some people don't realise the time it takes to film while riding and edit once back to base.
One question I have is how do you decide what to film and what not when you're surrounded by such beautiful scenery?

The filming does take a bit of extra effort but we really try not to let it get in the way of enjoying the adventure. Yeah, there’s lots to point the camera at. Both your river crossings can be ridden, although you have to go downstream a little bit from where you camped. They were very low!
