Good to see you back out again. That’s an enjoyable ride at any time but after lockdown must have been heaven. As always beautifully filmed - admire the effort you must put in to get some of the shots. Look forward to the next one👍

jamie forsyth yeah the #leavenotrace message is really important, particularly at the moment! Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed it! 😀🤟
Stunning!
Thank you! 😊
Great video. Brought back many happy memories of cycling up there on a £150 bike out of Halfords to knock off the Munro’s.
Hey Len, Thanks for watching. It would have been a long walk in and out without a bike. 😀🤟
Loved the video, stunning scenery. Great to see others getting out and enjoying our beautiful country on their bikes as I have.
Thank you. All the best. 😊🙏
Absolutely loved this. Stunning location and looked so chilled 👌
Gary Clarke thank you 🙏 😀.. yeah it was actually all about getting back out and just taking time to enjoy. Really happy the videos come across that way! 😀🤟

Barry Godin Hi Mate, Thank you for watching. I’m sure you’ll appreciate the effort getting some shots. lol... Normally always worth the effort though. Really enjoyed your bikepacking series so far.. I’ve a couple to catch up on. Take care! D&L 😀🤟

Hehe superb! Hopefully you’ll enjoy it. 😀🤟
Hi D&L, great to see you out and about again. Super video for the startup which must have taken an age to capture. Well done. Cheers, Charlie.
Hey Charlie!! Haha it was a bit of a mission but we think the work has been worth it. Beautiful place to visit.. Hope you guys are well. Take care. D&L 😊👍

Hello, it's nice to see you on video across the Highlands! Thank you very much for these beautiful images.
We were supposed to be in Scotland this year, so we postponed for May 2021.
Thank you for watching! Hopefully the world will be a better place next year! Take care. 😊🙏
Great video - emphasises how good it is to be back out... keep up the good work!
Hey Andrew, Thank you for watching! 😀🙏 Yeah was great to be out again.
Nice video.... looks heavy to pedal those fat bikes
Na not really .. the bikes are very lightweight.. 🤙
This was wonderful to go along with you for this relaxing time down this beautiful glen . Thank you so much I cannot waite for October when hopefully we will be in the highlands ; )
🤞fingers crossed there won’t be any issues stopping your visit in October. 😀👍
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 Yes fingers and paws crossed ; )
Fabulous. Good to see you both out again. September, fingers crossed, we'll be in Scotland 😉
Thank you!! :-) Fingers crossed for your trip to Scotland.
Beautiful scenery and the river looks great, loved the drone footage.
Cheers from Australia
Wayne, Thank you. 😀🙏
Good to see you out and about again, and that you haven't forgotten how your camera works, ha ha! Lots of great shots in that one!
Hi Alan, Thank you! 😀 .... funnily enough I was actually doing some stupid things with the cameras and drone... soon got back in the swing of it though. 😀
Nice glen to visit folks. Walked that way doing the TGO challenge and kept going over a couple of days to Braemar. Atb
Cheers Ray.. Thank you for watching! 😀🙏 That would have been a long but rewarding walk, if the weather was kind! Hope you’re well. 👍
Love all your videos, great to see you back again. Keep doing the amazing videos
Hey Spence, Thank you very much! A very kind comment. 😊🙏
Another stunning film Dave, absolutely loved it 😎. I remember doing a mountain bike ride up there about 15 years ago and we stopped to take it all in at the exact place where you pitched your tent. A stunning location. Great to see you guys back out there. You’ve been missed - Best wishes - Dave
Hey Dave... thank you for watching as always. 15 years, probably time for a return lol 😀👍
On the Adventure Trails - Scotland 🤔😎👍
Very nice!
Thank you for watching! 😀🙏
just come back from bikepacking camping from Swanage, watching your video I wanna do one in scotland!
Thank you for watching 😀🙏 There so much many routes to look at.. get yourself up! 😀🤟
Bikes! This is how it should be done although the we did (same route) was also enjoyable. I like the drone footage. Cheers, Seb
Hey Seb, Thank you for watching! 😀🙏 Yeah it’s a long walk for an out and back so bikes were the way ahead for us. 😀👍
Brilliant wee trip! Tilt and Bruar have been on my list of places to visit for a while now, and you made them look even more enticing! Hope you enjoyed your first post lock down trip, hopefully many more to come this year! 😀Cheers, Kris.
Scottish Mountain Goat Hi Chris, Yeah we really did have a good time on this one. No hurry to get anywhere, just a chilled wee adventure. Well worth a visit as you’ll have seen. Thanks for watching! 😀🙏
That was amazing, I forgot how nice Scotland was, I remember that trail. I subscribe :D
Appreciated, thank you! 😀🙏🤟
Top drawer you two. 👌🏼 Glen Tilt is stunning and probably underrated.
Hope your neighbours left no trace too. Should be far away enough from the neds.
Agreed, very under rated. It took us hours to get up the Glen, we kept having to stop and look at stuff lol. Thank you for watching! 😀🙏
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 I remember vaguely of a steep pull up when you leave the car park. Worth it though, must go back. 😎
Yeah there’s a wee hill but nothing that’s going to burst ya!
Welcome back ! That looks a great overnight idea, catch 22 it'll prob be mobbed from now on ;-) ATB A
Thanks Andy. It’s actually a very popular spot all the time because of the mountain biking routes that pass through this spot. There’s also plenty other spots in the area!
Awesome vid guys I'm looking at coming up to Scotland in September starting of in Fort William then tour around ... I'll be driving up .. but trying to decide either the gravel bike or mountain bike with plus tyrse ...
Appreciated, thank you! 😀🙏🤟 Have fun when you get here.
Amazing video, good to see u both back! You’ve inspired us during lockdown, we’ve bought fat bikes so let the adventures begin 👌
Denise Cooper you’re going to have a great time with the fat boys.. Thank you very much for watching. 😀🤟
Loved this. What was that music!?
Will tray and find the name of the music. Thank you for watching. 😊🙏
Great wee film and inspiration for getting out of lockdown :) I cycled down Glen Tilt in Oct 2020 on a beautiful day like you had at the end of a 3 night trip round the Cairngorms. Can I ask is that a titanium fat bike ? if so what make ?
Hey, no not titanium ..as far I know lol. The bikes are Cannondale Fat Caad and Kona Wozo . Thank you for watching and sorry its taken so long to reply. It slipped by without us noticing it. :-)
Watched this again after seeing it years ago. Great production.
How many miles is it to that bridge from the carpark? Is there much elevation?
Hi Andy, thank you. I can’t actually remember the district but it’s any easy ride, especially on the way back.
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 I'm planning a camp around there, but just hoping for getting the weather when I have the time to do it. The weather has been so miserable this whole summer!
Great jaunt oot and film, must have spent a fortune on the production team.
Spending a fortune on new footwear, all that extra running around.. Hopefully worth it though 😀🤟
Looks fantastic - no midges?
Very little! There was just enough of a breeze to keep them at home. Thank you for watching! 😀🙏
Love it. What's the name of the music at the beginning?
Thank you.. Will tray to find it and get back to you.
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 A ride somewhere with music from nowhere 😉
Hi. Love the content. Hope both well. What Sim mattress do you use ?
I use the Therm-o-rest NeoAir Ultralight. 😁👍
lovely video, beautifully shot! - can I ask about the wee saddlebags(panniers) on the back of the bike, is what i need, as a seat pack is too close to my wheel and rubs - comes from having short legs :-)
Hi Andy, Thank you for your kind words.
The backpacking kit is all Revelate Designs and we normally get all our gear from Backcountry Scotland. We also have suffer from short leg syndrome lol.. 😂😀

@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 Thats great thanks, they are out of stock at present, but i will keep an eye on their site, keep the great videos comings, and have many smiles on your riding miles
Andy Pryke Email Andy Toop at Backcountry.scot and ask him if he can add your order to his next shipment. He’s very good that way. 🤞
On the Adventure Trails - Scotland thanks for the tip
Was this near the parking for Beinn a’ Ghlo do you know? I’m looking to climb it but then camp afterwards at the river Tilt. Cheers.
The Beinn a’Ghlo carpark is further up the road from our start point. If you’re coming off the northern end of the hill I’m sure there must be a route into the Glen. Probably a bit of a walk back to the hills parking area though.
How long did it take to cycle the the falls of Tarf? Great video by the way.
Sorry I can’t actually remember but we always take our time. Probably about 3 hours. Messing around with the filming etc. Really appreciate your kind words and glad you enjoyed it.
was that last Friday? I think I passed you both on my way past marble lodge? great video
Hey Allan, Yeah that would have been us! 😀👋 ... thank you for your comment, really appreciated. 😀🙏
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 Pleasure, I am now looking into getting a good mountain bike to use on the Munros and trails, inspired me, thank you
Hi Dave Lisa
What meals were you using? Particularly the rice pudding!
Great video, I did Glen tilt in winter on a MTB! Mistake! Now I know why they are called push bikes😂
I'm heading your way next week and have many routes planned I hope to bump into you!😂
Thks

Hey Paul.. Glad you enjoyed the video. The meals are Summit to Eat. www.summittoeat.com/

Was this the weekend of the 17-18 July 2020? I think I might have been your neighbour - small world :) Was a fantastic weekend!
I think it was indeed. 😄⛺️🤙
Hope I didn’t spoil your private campsite too much - was too good a spot to pass up. Looking forward to more good trips this year :)
@@simonthomas9571 absolutely not. Plenty space for us all. I don’t think we hear you leave at all in the morning. All the best for the coming year 😊🙏⛺️
I’m planning to go up that way on foot soon. Where was your starting point and how far in did you go? Loved the video 😀
The start point was the Grid Ref NN874662.
Park at the well-signed car park near the Old Bridge of Tilt. Thank it was about roughly 20km to the Tarf Falls. 😊👍
A beautiful video of gorgeous Scotland. It's a pity it wasn't 100 minutes long instead of 10. Take care.
Here’s thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed it. 😀🙏
Hey, it would be great if you could share your GPS data for the trail if you have it?
Hi Sorry we don’t but actually no need for a GPS trace. It’s straight up Glen tilt and back. 😊🤙
Do you have a route published for this anywhere?
Hi Iain, No route published but its a nice and easy out and back from Glen Tilt Carpark to the up the Glen.
