Excellent question. Recreating the natural anatomic alignment for a disc-replacement is quite challenging: If you are off by a few millimeters/ degrees in placing the device, it can affect the function of the implant. In this case, I am not sure what the problem was (since the disc-replacement was done by another surgeon). But your question is valid. Thank you for reaching out.
I also had an artificial disc replacement surgery on C5-C6 on January 13 2022. The device looks similar to mine which is the Mobi-C but luckily I have not had any complications so far 🤞🏽 this is still very interesting. I just had a microdisectomy on my L5-S1 on October 11 2024 with a foraminotomy. My sciatica pain is completely gone and my back feels so much better but the only thing is I am experiencing tingling and needle sensation on my pinky toe and the toe next to it. The bottom of my foot also experiences that tingling and needle sensation, my surgeon says that is normal but I am just wondering what you think? Is that something common that happens. She says over time that it will go away
i have had the same problem on my left shoulder for 3 months, my neurologist gave me 1000000 medications, but they told me not to have surgery because lots of people have unsuccessful , i miss workout

Had a 4/5 5/6 and 6:7 c 6/7 did not fused surgeon put cadabor bone plate and screws on front of neck but c6/7 did not fuse what are my options
