Have you tried combining multiple Catalytic converters together (which in stormworks changes exhaust to fresh air) and then adding an impeller pump to make a turbo charger, without the need of adding load to the engine to turn the impeller. This could just be a bad idea but thought it might work. Also love the videos, learnt so much from watching especially your microprocessor tutorials. Much appreciated please keep them coming.
Bro, that's a powerful scheme. Why didn't you show the function in the part where you pasted the copied in this schematic Fuel Related. I still can't make out the F(X) value that comes from the engine temperature and the F(X,Y,Z) value that is below it. I'll have to download your work from the workshop to see. I've basically already grasped the pattern of creation in such circuits, but I wasn't prepared for the fact that they wouldn't tell me what function to put in. Thanks for the guide.
Hi I have watched both your transmission and engine micro tutorials. I was wondering how you link them together. I was trying to do it with a composite read channel but kept running into a dead end. After wich i got lost so. Anyways thank you so much
I recently got into Stormworks, and am making a patrol boat that runs off of two inline 6 engines. I tried diesel electric, ECU's, etc for my engines, I'm temped just to rip 'em out & start over to see if anything changes given how recent this is. I'll edit, or reply for an update on progress, but I wanna try and keep the inline 6 look.
This is a great tut but the bit i struggle with is the formula, so in that respect im still at a loss. I will download and try to copypasta it, but thats not learning how it works
Great show case. I put the micro controller on a helicopter that i have built. After turning the engine on it goes to 5 rps ( i have made 8 max) I can lift the heli in the air on the 5 rps, but shortly after the rps falls to below 3.5 where the clutch kicks in and the heli drops. Do you know what is causing this issue?
@@CaptainCockerels If you dont mind. I was wondering if you could give me a clue to another issue i am having with the same helicopter. When I have the gyro turned on a fly straight in a line, after a few seconds, the heli will start to slightly roll to one side then the other rince repeat, until I land or turn in flight. Do you have any idea why I could be doing this?
Even though i can build modular engine i'll watch this since who knows, I might learn something!

Thank you for your videos, you really got a great and pedagogic way to explain everything.

Which formula?
Any tips for why my engine slowly dies when I open my clutch on my tank. Would it be too small of an engine?
Likely too small of an engine. Start down gearing it and see if that improves.
Where can I get your geometry from around 39:39

NVM. I just changed the "P value engine" works fine now. Thanks alot
Glad it's working. You usually have to tune the p value for each application. As load changes

@@Othgerius It's a game mechanic. Use some fins to contract it
@@CaptainCockerels Thanks again man
Is it possible to make the starter and accelerator brake connected to a button and throttle lever?
Yes, I have other tutorials with it set up that way. I'll make the next video. Where I convert it to a boat
@@CaptainCockerels what is the other tutorial called?
