Thanks for the vid! So at 11 mins or so you were having issues with the flow rate on your small pumps. I seem to remember that there has been a long-standing bug in this game where the order in which you place your pumps down can affect the flow-rate calculation. Usually I just pick them up and place them down again and that fixes the fluctuation. Its a really flaky bug so I have no idea if that will work in this case.

Love the cooling tutorial, but there's a bit of misinformation. The examples in the video make it seem like the electric motor is free power. The impeller w/ electric motor is still stealing engine power, it's just using the load you've put on the as the control load, or if infinite power is on it's just free power. Would be interesting to see the results the same static load, but one engine using direct engine RPS, and another using 1+ alternators/generators solely used to power the electric engine. Overall it's a great cooling experiment. I've been using the rps to impeller setup since you talked about it in a live stream a few weeks back. Didn't know the flow rate caps out regardless of engine rps. Going to tweak my builds accordingly now, no point in stealing additional rps for no reason.

@Captain_Cockerels, I came across your video after quite a few searches on how to get an engine to idle. I tried to apply some of that logic to one of the Pre-Fab engines and cannot get them to idle where I want. They just constantly rev up. Basically after the PID I just have a number output for the Throttle going to the engine instead of the Air and Fuel manifolds like you do (since I am not using those.) What steps have I missed? This will be for the Large Diesel engine I am using in my boat. I am still trying to understand all the logic and what not. But 95% of the things I want to do I have been able to achieve. However this is killing me. Thank you for your videos and any other suggestions! Also the gearbox tutorial towards the end answered so many of my questions. So thanks for that as well!

Bro, that's a powerful scheme. Why didn't you show the function in the part where you pasted the copied in this schematic Fuel Related. I still can't make out the F(X) value that comes from the engine temperature and the F(X,Y,Z) value that is below it. I'll have to download your work from the workshop to see. I've basically already grasped the pattern of creation in such circuits, but I wasn't prepared for the fact that they wouldn't tell me what function to put in. Thanks for the guide.

Have you made a stormworks tutorial for detachable train wheels yet?

In my opinion, i think the ability to add rope to another would be nice. when your rope is longer than 40 meters you arent able to detatch it or attatch it to anything so being able to take two 40 m ropes and combining them to make a single 80 m section and so on so forth. I made a crab boat a while back, but i can't set my crab pots lower than 30 meters because of it.
