Talking about Titanic, the total area of damage was about 1.2 square meters. That fits almost perfectly the size of a doorframe in stormworks! Considering that, Titanic sank incredibly fast, even compared to stormworks mechanics. Would be fun to get a replica and try to sink it with a single door frame in game, and find the sink time.

That is actually pretty interesting. But you gotta remember that the ship started sinking rapidly as soon as the bow went under and all the doors and cargo holds began taking on water and it only got faster from there.

They probably spawn someone else's vehicle and blast them with a weapon expecting it to immediately sink, it does not because there are different segments inside the hull separated by doors and blocks. Aside from people expecting this game to be a Sinking sim, ballast, and deballasting for submarines work better with pressure.

for me its more for submarine ballasts, the moon pool effect can make it surprisingly hard to fill up any compartment.

It certainly is a little bit slow for filling ballast. I think they could increase the max flow rate through fluid ports That would help.

Wow, water interning the ship hull? What a magic 😂

If one day someone had told me that I would watch a 26 minute video which explains that a hole in a ship's hull causes it to sink, I would not have believed it. ;)

How dare you suggest and prove that this is possible. 😮
