One concept has been often mentioned amid our country's current crisis, but it is not as often understood: systemic racism. In the United States, racial ideologies operate politically, legally, and socially to limit African Americans. the Southern strategy was a Republican Party electoral strategy to increase political support among white voters in the South by appealing to racism against African Americans.

Obviously they don’t have the capacity. It’s funny to me how a nation or even a people can scream to the world “In God We Trust” yet have no understanding of the Creator. The process of creation was willed by God and it was God’s decision who was created when. I mean, if you stop and consider the wonder of all the intricacies of God’s creation somewhere in that process was an appointed time and place for each to come into being in HIS timing. So, never mind that God took time to make provision for them. They’re angry because they weren’t created first and feel like they should have been since they’re profoundly convinced of their own superiority as well. Well, coming first meant none of them would have survived. The earth was very very hot and coming first would have led to instant extinction. Although most don’t study our history, let alone themselves, our ancestors had a covenant with the Creator to learn everything about the world above as well as below, develop the understanding of the One universal creator, and to pass the knowledge on to the rest of God’s children who would fill the earth later. Our ancestors had no way of knowing that they would occupy the ENTIRE earth for 150,000 years before another people emerged. Every prophecy that was told to Europeans about what consequences would happen if they continued destruction. The shrinkage of the lineage due to souls in the lineage being destroyed for the one transgression that will cause a soul to be destroyed, abuse of power. This is the reason for the “birth dearth” just as our ancestors said. Ase’

Then look up Shelby Steele's writings on Critical Race Theory, and maybe Matt Taibbi's review of her book as well. Coleman Hughes is another black intellectual who's not on board with this farce. ONE. The system of racism is not complex and should not take 20 years to a lifetime to understand. She admits Blacks get the message by age 3.

Pretty much, I found myself curious about people of different races and I am half Ashkenazi Jew and half Lutheran. Not really. My great grandfather was one fourth Native American and he went to catholic school. My ancestors go really far back in the United States. My great great grandmother was biracial. She was in the suffrage marches. She identified as white and was highly white passing, but she had extremely dark eyes and jet black hair. Her father was white and her mom was most likely Abenaki and was born in Vermont. Five generations back, my ancestors were from Salem, Massachusetts. This lecture is interesting to me. It makes sense. I did decide to learn and observe black people. I was curious. People have complained about my blonde hair and wonder about my brown eyes. No one knows that my sister adopted a biracial baby. My dad was a dark complected Ashkenazi Jew and I had relatives die in the Holocaust. I remember in my thirties I lived in a Hispanic denominated neighborhood. I moved because of the roaches and the water being turned off. I naturally feel close to Hispanic people because of my mom’s step father who we called grandad Emilio. Then we found out that my mom has Iberian DNA. I do know what white privilege is. I believe that I have advantage in understanding racism because of my bipolar disorder. I may have people mistakenly believe that I am more racist than I am. As someone who is 49% Ashkenazi Jew, I had a bunch of relatives die in concentration camps. I have used one racial slur because I didn’t know what it meant. I was a teenager. This man told me that he was white and it is the best race in the world. He was a call up medium. He used the s word for Hispanic people. The difference is that he was intentional and I was not intentional. I lived in a Hispanic neighborhood and I know a little Spanish because of junior high and high school. I am sort of learning disabled. I believe that if I went to Springbrook, I would have flunked out. So I went to private school. The kids were mean because they could read better than me. This white wedding crap. My grandmother married a Hispanic man after my grandfather died. I will be careful to not use a derogatory word. People may fool you into that. I don’t like how Robin DiAngelo uses her education as a way to do blaming. I went to college in my forties. I like this lecture. Really I do. I am a rare blonde, brown eyed Jew. My great great grandfather was German and his wife was biracial. And I know that you are dying to call me racist because I am white. That being a descendant of a Native American, I have no right to be proud of that part of me because I don’t look Native American because that was far back. I saw a photo of my cousin and I mistakenly thought he was my father. I am very light complected and people make comments about it. White people make comments about my lighter skin and I claim lots of Irish.I remember watching a movie. These little girls were worried that the mean Irish kids were going to beat them up if they went to public school. I think they liked public school. I think that what would bring us together is to figure out what is good and the strong parts of everyone. That we are equal. I thought long and hard about whether I am a racist or not. I decided that if someone asked me if I like black people, I would say that I love black people. My sister adopted a biracial baby. I was overjoyed because I was finally an aunt. I was single. I was not supposed to have children because I was taking medication that would hurt my baby. I felt vulnerable most of my life. You might think that I am playing the race card. My great great grandmother was most likely half Abenaki. She was from Vermont. I have seen videos of people who look like a mixture of Abenaki and white like my great great grandmother. That’s why I wanted to explore. I ended up living in a neighborhood with a lot of black people, but that doesn’t mean that I am not prejudiced. But then again racism is different. Confusing enough, I am blonde, brown eyed and fair complected. I guess that there is something wrong. I am learning disabled. I was in a class with the majority was black in high school. In tenth grade, I went to private school because of my learning disability. I would have flunked out if it was a public high school. I wonder why I explain so much. Many people from my family were killed in concentration camps. I read Maus. There was a part where Art Spiegelman’s father was upset with his son for letting a black man in their car. Art’s father was a concentration camp survivor. Persecution doesn’t end racism. Jewish people can be racist. And Jewish people can be highly tolerant. My identity doesn’t define me. I like this lecture. It makes me think a lot. You can’t read my mind and I believe that anyone who reads this comment believes they can read my mind and understand me, but you can’t understand me.

@@zxyatiywariii8 Just a suggestion - the way she defines racism kind of gives a different slant on this. I personally believe that 'race' and 'racism' are not fact but a white construct created for the purpose of separating and setting up for a 'winner' and losers in this thing called 'race'. However, the way she defines and 'unpacks' the term race and supremacy do not follow what we most define as such. For example - her defining of racism follows: it occurs when a racial group's prejudice (which we all have) is backed by legal authority and institutional control. Racism is a system and comes from there. She highlights just how much of the system is led and established by white people, and it is eye-opening. So ... in that way - yes, we/white people are racist. Not because we do bad things but because we benefit from the established system we live in. We are part of the group that runs this society. It's a fascinating book. The point she makes is that it is primarily for white people to turn the microscope on themselves. It's a topic WE (as a white woman) need to talk with others like us. Our experience of life is very different than yours, and I can see that now. I might not deliberately do horrible racist (aka 'bad') things, but my life isn't more difficult because of my skin colour and what am I doing to help break down that instutional, rooted in the system, white-prompted world. I might not do 'racist' things, but what am I doing to affect positive change? That's what she challenges people like her. It's about self-reflection, about self-awareness, And, from it, I believe in being challenged, in being shown a better way, in having an opinion but also having others encourage me to grow more and learn more and develop more ... on all my opinions. Including those that include people like me ... and people who are not like me. I can only ask all my fellow people to do the same with themselves.

      This is poisonous nonsense.
The lies and hypocrisy of Critical Race Theory:
A number of very distinguished Black intellectuals, while acknowledging the obvious reality of previous systemic oppression, deny its active presence today in their ‘lived experience’.
What do the proponents of “standpoint epistemology” have to say about these critics of the oppression narrative and their situated perspectives? They invalidate them.
They are ‘diagnosed’ as having a false consciousness, having internalized White oppression, or they are condemned as, amongst other things, being race-traitors, native informants or uncle Toms.
These attacks are morally appalling. A number of these intellectual giants actually grew up under conditions of real racial bigotry and oppression. As should be obvious, this ‘anti-racist’ language is the language of racism.
It can only foster racial polarization and division. For the critical race theorist, your moral worth is explicitly a function of your place in the racial hierarchy. Quite transparently, they take the racist Nazi’s racial hierarchy and simply invert it. Where blacks were once at the alleged bottom, based on specious racial grounds, now they are at its apex. Whites, in this revaluation of values, are now at the bottom. ‘Whiteness’ is now a sin.
Notice here a certain ‘paradox’. Somehow, privileged whites have nevertheless managed to assume lucrative roles in the vanguard of this movement.
Although they are white, ‘they are allies’. They remain powerful and exert disproportionate authority. Robin DiAngelo, author of “White Fragility”, makes truck loads of money telling white people just how racist they are. Of course she is too but ‘she’s doing the work’, while depositing her cheques…
Needless to say, it won’t be the children of these privileged elites who are denied access to elite universities or face significant disadvantage in the employment market.
After all, they are members of ‘ the cultural elite’. Remember the Harvard admissions scandal? This demonstrates the level of hypocrisy to which the powerful will stoop when it’s their children’s futures at stake. All of a sudden, ‘equity’ isn’t even an afterthought.)
Hope you’ll check out my book “Deconstructing Social Justice”. It will explain the cultural Marxist logic behind this ideology and expose its lies and misrepresentations.

This is the problem with language theory and why it was abandoned in the 80's by many of it's founders. It presumes universality and homogeneity across all geographies, sectors and factors. She may also be describing her academic environment which is as about as far removed from working class existence or common reality as can be. (I work in shelters... it is ironically less present, almost non-existent in some areas, among the uneducated and working class than she imagines if they share common circumstances.. I think this may be institutional alright... like universities.) She also makes it literally impossible to criticize or even ask questions about methodology or sources other than her personal observations, resembling some of the warm hearted, smiling oppressive Soviet mechanisms found in Solhzenitsen. If she was doing this for free or a nominal sum (like say Ralph Nader) and not 6k an hour, she might be taken more seriously. She should walk into one of these neighborhoods or live there for once in her life and look around. This also looks like two professionals arguing professional discrimination as opposed to society at large. History instructs us to watch out for the academic with a theory that will solve everything and can't be argued against... it never goes well.

Rob Wealer. Your post feels kind of like a personal rant but, I find, it is much to the point. Basically DiAngelo celebrates liberalism and chooses for identity as a leftist agent but forgot to read Marx closely -- as in understanding the materialistic reality of social hierarchy in an economic sense (I hope you understand Marx was not a communist but in "Das Kapital" wrote a valuable critique on capitalism, brilliant considering the time he wrote it -- though still an academic theory meant to understand everything, as was usual at the time). If I read your post well, i hear you thinking like Marx but then the real one -- the one critiquing capitalism not in an ideological sense but in a materialist way. "Smiling oppressive Soviet mechanisms" are what you get when Marx is not applied to capitalism but used to replace feudal Tzarism with a system embedded in the same feudal Tzarist ideology, but now based on autocratic populism. This reproduces pure Evil.
I get the point: DiAngelo is a populist -- and a leftist. And she seems to represent the populist "smiling oppressive Soviet mechanisms found in Solhzenitsen", But I think her biggest problem is that she is a liberal not understanding the actual critique of Marx, quite like the Soviets did not -- yet the other way around. She is floating on an identity-carpet, as did the Soviets waving "Das Kapital" in poor Russian farmers faces because it was opportunistically handy to retain existing Russian power dichotomies and rule them (and exploit them) by autocratic populism.
What you really seem to point out, however, is that you are, at least vaguely, a Marxist. This sentence: "She may also be describing her academic environment which is as about as far removed from working class existence or common reality" is the most Marxist sentence I read in years on You Tube. Isn't that interesting? Real Marxism is a materialist critique on Capitalism..it's not to be applied to any other system or identity/ideological concepts (as it is, really, a materialist critique on capitalism). Yet, you Americans are so afraid of it ideologically.

Dear Africans, and all who doesn't look white like Europeans,
Please take some few seconds or minutes to read this contribution towards the process of constructing dignified societies and Nations for us, our children, and future generations. This is a call that needs to be taken very seriously.
There is a serious problem, which because of fear, all men and women are afraid of talking about. Many behave otherwise even when they see it. The problem I am talking about is racism and how realistic it is in real terms. The danger about this false behaviour is that, when we consider it as an inflammable trash being thrown often into an inflammatory container, a time will come when a catalyst or oxidant element naturally will set in to cause a huge fire, which can never be quenched anymore. Such is the wound between the Black and white human relations. Separation is becoming imminent. Today, the wound is so deep.
    A well-known Statesman once said:
“you’ve opened a door that can never be closed again”.
We are getting nearer to this gauge. Let’s think about George Floyd, stranded African students in Ukraine when they were fleeing the war in Ukraine, the Nigerian killed on the streets of Italy, the Black British youngster who was handcuffed because he had his hands in his pockets, the South African who was shot dead because the killer held him to be a Hypo, etc. These facts are now, and they happen often.
Racism had to do with people who classify themselves as whites. It is a global system of white supremacy minority on the Planet keeping control and domination over people who they see or classify as non-white. Hence racism need to be understood in this context otherwise everything that one understands will only be confusing. The question that arises here is “why would that be so”?
Renowned Psychiatrist, expert on racism and author of many Acadamic Papers and Publications, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing from the USA discusses the cause and effects on The Karen Hunter Show. This was in 2014. She has since passed on but her spirit lives on! Most of her theories are more than valid, real and self explanative.
A Summary of her work explains that:
    Racism against Blacks
White suppremacy is a beviour from a set of Caucasians who classifies themeselves as supreme above all other races on the Planet and hence exercise their audacity to treat all others who are not so called whites the way they deem right. White supremacy therefore doesn’t stem out from Economics as considered from the onset. Some of their arguments describes them as the most intelligent with higher aptitudes, and hence, the incompetency and adverse problems of all others who are not so called white, endowed with less intelligence.
Thus a close understanding of the behaviour of this set of race reveals deeply that, it is not “ther others ( blacks, browns, yellows and reds)” who are inferior and have problems, but rather they, the so called whites themselves.
Dr. Welsing researched about that and concluded that it is because whites make up one tenth of the people on the planet earth, if not fewer, and that the others: black, Brown people are nine times more than whites, and more also, the others are genetically dominant, while those whose skins are white, with the proportion of one tenth are genetic recessive.
These genetically dominant people are dominant in terms of their skin coloration, which makes brown, black, red, and yellow, and the pigment that makes those colours is called Melanin and could be found in the cells of any living body. This could therefore be illustrated as follows:
To understand the following clearly you need to remember the bio-chemical processes of how pigmentation in the cells of any living organism is synthesized. The more pigments you have, you are black, followed by brown, red, yellow, and lastly, white. Melanin is a godly substance.
    Black + Brown = Coloured
    white + Red = Coloured
    white + Yellow = Coloured
    Black + white = Coloured
    White + brown = Coloured
Now the meaning of this is that if white skinned wishes to survive, He therefore must dominate all the people who could cause white genetic annihilation:
that is the meaning of racism.
Racism in other words, is a global system of behaviour that is for the purpose of white genetic survival on our Planet Earth. This is quite different than what we have been accustomed to. Looking at it, we have said it is all about Economics and that we can get over it however, it's not quite as simple as we used to think that it was. We are dealing with a global behavioural system, we are not dealing with segregation or simply discrimination, such as choice of schools, positions in employment, on toilets, Restaurants, churches, housing etc., but rather, there must be domination by people who classify themselves as white.
This System is carried out in all areas of people activity. It is carried out in Economics, Education, entertainment, labour, Law, Politics, Religion, Sex, conversation, Business, Trade, Journalism, Advertisement, Broadcasting, Immigration, etc.
It is a behaviour that encompasses all areas of people activity, including Organizations, Nations and even how they engage with Nature. It stems out of their Culture which makes up the sum of all you find in their Container which forms their Idealism.
It is all about white genetic survival.
It is essential, that every African understands the in depth of this issue and confronts it, whenever right without any confusion. It is our fear of not talking about or dealing with it that causes us not to face it.
Now, specifically for the course of Africa and Pan Africanism, unity becomes indispensable and imperative. With a united front, fear becomes to be pushed to a farther extent, or even eliminated because Africa is huge and large. Each African Nation and President including his people becomes vulnerable and could be bullied or sanctioned when he or she tries to work hard for his people. Why? because when Nations stand alone, or when citizens stand alone, or are dispersed they become weak and hence vulnerable. Consider how African Nations are singled out, sanctioned to cause Regime changes or the Leaders are simply killed, or how African Citizens could be harassed on Streets or elsewhere outside Africa till eventually death. Most often the few Africans or Nations stand aside and look on whilst injustices and inhumane practices happen. We all know the these are not mere allegations but real! This, is what Bob Marley once asked:
“How long shall they kill our brothers while we stand aside and look...”
You see, whites count on our fear with the hope that we become perpetually stigmatized and hence accept their claim of supremacy and conclude the lyric from Mr. Marley with:
Some say it’s just a part of it, the book must be fulfilled….”
    Disunity is self-annihilation!
We are even comparatively underpopulated. Clearly speaking economics starts with People and we must not be deluded with Malthusian Economic Theories used to keep Africa underpopulated. Look at India, China, and the Far East. Consider the volume of their Production, Consumption Market share, GDP and purchasing powers. I am not awaiting arguments on these assertions, we have had enough
I think I will have to stop here and hope that I have been able to offer some clarity on the subject which all of us must take seriously and do something about it without delay.
Africa Nations, Africans, and all Black Folks on the Planet have no choice other than Unity.

In the 70s we had TV shows like All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Dukes of Hazzard and Sanford and Son. These shows all poked fun at racial stereotypes and showed racism in a light that allowed all Americans to see how to handle situations where race might come up or be an issue with humor and patience. These were all groundbreaking as far as waking up our culture to injustices fueled by race and helped crush more racism than any of today's woke culture has. Woke and cancel culture infringes on our free speech and in most cases is actually more racist because people use cancel culture simply to silence and control others to get people shunned, removed from the town square, fired and even imprisoned in some cases.

Her and Ibram Kendi. Grifters! Both of these hustler should be ashamed of themselves. I could easily become rich and famous too if I didn't care about my soul. Just invent some catchy buzz phrase like anti-racist or white fragility, define it myself and thrust upon all the sheep pronouncing then guilty if they don't fall to their knees and confess.

Ahh, she uses the oldest trick in the book “if you don’t agree with or deny someone thing I said about you, it means you are that thing”. So basically impossible to counter. Got it.

@@CRONOSAGGRESSIVE2 Her definition of "fragile" is actually NOT engaging in conversation, precisely the opposite of the comments you are referring to. It's sad that you are defending a white racist who labels yourself as inferior, disadvantaged, and powerless simply because of your skin color. I condemn all of that; don't let her tricks work on you.

@@CRONOSAGGRESSIVE2 What does any of what you're talking about have to do with my comment or what Rob'n D-Angelo is talking about? It's very confusing how by myself calling Rob'n D'Angelo a racist for generalizing Black people and viewing them as inferior - makes me one. I do not claim white supremacy or privilege, which are the same thing. My son is mixed - I am not teaching him that white people have advantages over him or have "privilege" - that is disempowering to him. Nothing good comes out of that sort of thinking. And yes there are things that disproprtionally affect Black people and/or people in poverty sure, I'm not denying that. I discuss this on my main channel in a racism series I did if you want to check it out - ruclips.net/channel/UC72WILl04krYDnBZr6CCaeA

She's right, I'm glad white people are talking about it now, because I'm tired of the one being on the other side of white fragility. White people are more likely to listen to a white lady.
