The video about the kid being hit makes me so angry. My mother used to bite, hit, and throw things at me because “I needed to learn how I hurt her”. I have no doubt this fed into us being apart of a system/other trauma disorders. Just because “they won’t remember” doesn’t mean it won’t leave a scar.
Edit: I should clarify this didn’t happen every day. The hitting only happened once or twice (parents were very against it) and the biting mostly happened to my sister. The throwing things mainly stopped when I was around early teens (I was told it was to help my catching/ducking abilities), but thank you for all your kind words. We are safe.

I finally realised yesterday how antisemitic and anti-Roma sentiment has had an effect beauty standards. Like the whole “concave/aquiline/Roman/wavy noses are ugly” thing absolutely comes from these issues, and I hate it.
I hate being around strangers so much. They make me anxious. It's the worst when those strangers are in my house though. They make me feel uncomfortable living in my own house, whether intentional or not.
I frequently go up and down the stair because it helps the flow of my thoughts, but I feel so uncomfortable doing that when people are around.
The worst of the worst is when my brother's friends are at our house. They are all 2 years older than me MAX. And not to mention that most of his friends are guys (I'm uncomfortable around guys)

So much of the food, drinks, and snacks at the store are owned by the same 5 or 6 corporations and it pisses me off so much. If you dont want to give you money to a corporation then you have to actively look for a brand that isn't owned by any corporations and that can be really hard since they all try to push brands that aren't owned by any big corporation out of business.

that is tiring, i tried this a few times, but on a terribly transphobic short (i bet we all know the one) and it was a legitiamit question, "do any of you actually even know what being trans means?" among a few other basic questions and it got deleted immediately, but not by me, the channel didn't even let my comment go up for more than a few minutes. I'm sort of glad but at the same time pretty mad about it still because we know no one there would be able to answer that question correctly. unfortunelty i tend to have more conversations like this with people in person not sure why it just turned out that way. people say some awful stuff, keep yourself safe.
i commented once on a post about how this girl was on her way to “tell women the pay gap doesn’t exist”. the amount of conservatives that got pissed off was astounding, and i ended having to delete my comment because they wouldn’t stop commenting even MONTHS later. i replied to most of them and directing them to studies proving the wage gap, but they wouldn’t listen.

It's not just the ASD or ADHD or Anxiety or RSD or Bipolar
its the fact they all interact, they all affect each other. It's like a video game where all the elements combine to do an ultra fuck you attack on my social life.
Like a therapist or a friend could say "do X, it'll help Disorder Y"
but I can't do X because of Disorder Z and I could do A for Disorder Z but I can't do A because of Disorder B! which I can't do anything about because of Disorder Y! and I can't do anything about both of those at once because of Disorder J or whatever

I wish we, or at least I personally, was taught proper hygiene growing up. I wish I was taught to brush my teeth properly and to brush the back of my teeth.
I wish I was taught how to wash my face.
I wish I was taught how to properly clean myself in the shower.
I wish I was encouraged to have showers more often.
Not being taught how to properly clean myself has had a big impact on me. Gaining the energy and motivation to actually take care of my body is so hard. It'd be so much easier if I had been taught how to do these things as a young kid, because then it could have become a habit or routine of mine, and I live off of routines.

Yeah it sucks, only now as a teenager, am I learning to do those things properly and routinely. Something that has helped me are apps that keep track of streaks, because they motivate me to keep my streak going and give me reminders. It's very important to find balance between discipline and being kind to yourself, so don't be harsh to yourself and take your time
I have those same wishes, no one had time for me and it was sad. And also I watched a RUclips shorts about malachite and here it is I find someone who has that name. :) pretty cool if you ask me

The only reason I even brush my teeth every day before bed is because it is part of my bedtime routine. I feel bad when I don't brush my teeth, which gives me motivation to brush them, at least before bed.

One was made when I was in 6th grade and it has colorful stripes and a grey edge, and cute dangly coils of the same colors going down the side. The other is an Eevee hat and made more recently. I also want to start making my own, like a frog hat or an ace flag hat.

The star plushie I got from TJ Max got a hole in it and I just got it. It was $17.99! Its just so annoying when companies charge you so much and then their products are crap. My grand mom is sewing up the hole for me thankfully (I've tried to sew and crochet but my grand mom is more experienced with these types of rips) I got it a week before and then it got a hole, it didn't have a hole when I bought it. okay so ace attorney is a video game series, they're basically visual novels and logic based games combined. the plot, without going into any spoilers, is that there's this defense lawyer called Phoenix Wright who in each murder case takes on a client who is usually innocent but was framed by the real killer. the cases can be very silly, like there's a time you have to cross examine a parrot to solve the mystery and apparently another time the defendant is a literal orca but i haven't played that one yet💀 it can get pretty serious too though, especially in the final cases of each game.
SPOILERS FOR THIS PART don't read on if you ever want to play ace attorney without spoilers!
my favourite characters are: Maya Fey, a spirit medium who appears very goofy and chaotic (but in reality that's at least sometimes only a mask she puts on to hide the trauma she's been through), has a sibling-like relationship with Phoenix and is his assistant (her theme song is a bop and one of my comfort songs :D)
Kristoph Gavin, a twist villain who at first appears to be a chill mentor figure but actually has murdered multiple people to forward his career as well as making Phoenix lose his job (as revenge for him being more successful than Gavin). i like to think he's what i'd be like if i was a villain, kind of my darker side.
and Miles Edgeworth, a prosecutor who is Wright's long lost childhood friend. they reunite when they meet again in a case where Wright is the defense and Edgeworth is the prosecution. he wanted to be a defense attorney as a child because he looked up to his dad who was also one, until one day his dad was murdered and a prosecutor started mentoring him, teaching him the very opposite of the values he learned from his dad, which is why he became a prosecutor in the end. oh yeah i also ship him with Wright lol, their shipname is narumitsu (from their original japanese names)

1:16 even though these types of people suck and there’s no excuse for their behavior, I feel really bad for them. I can tell it’s from wanting to be accepted by everyone (including the right) despite your identity and also extreme dysphoria. They project it onto other trans people who “don’t try as hard to pass” because they work so hard to pass and they view people who “don’t try as hard” as not “really trans,” and they also probably haven’t accepted that not everyone is going to accept you, especially the transphobes. These types of people fucking suck and I’m not trying to make excuses for them, but I honestly feel bad and wish I could save them from this mindset, not only because it harms other people, but also because it clearly comes from a place of self-hatred. I used to have a lot of internalized transphobia. I never projected it like the person in this TikTok, but it affected my mental health quite a bit. So glad it’s getting better.
