Also built a desk, butcher block from Floor and Decor. Legs are fixed, 3" thick x shape legs, raw steel but clear coated from the Leg Shoppe. Never again buying from Etsy. Only limited time to leave a review. Legs started to rust 1 year after all my hard work

What do you think caused it to rust?? Trapped moisture?

I fail to see the DIY part. You bought a retail frame and a table top and put them together. That hardly qualifies as "DIY". Perhaps AIY (assemble it yourself).

Yea we can be loose on the DIY for this, although I do think picking a stain, sanding and staining is a DIY process in this
