I made this Recipe for the first time last Christmas (2020). I just made it again, my husband LOVES it! He asked me if I can make it at least once a month. It is Amazing! Thank you so much for the recipe. You guys are AWESOME; I have made some of your other recipes and I want to try more. Thank you again.
I wish there was more video on the actual making of the Wellington than talking. I really liked the previous videos that did that because I'm a visual learner.
This was fantastic - and yes I ground up the seeds as suggested - I did add just a couple of mushrooms into the saute (chopped same size as other veggies) that I had in the fridge. It really was just a couple but a nice touch I think. It was pretty - not as pretty as theirs I need to practice my puff pastry weave - and delicious. Will make again!
You are officially my favorite vegan couple! I recently came accross one of your videos in a NJ vegan group, and I’ve been binge watching your videos and love the variety. I love your recipes and your personalities. Keep going guys. Thank you!
Andrew would be a fantastic mushroom-hating soulmate for my sister XD From my side, I highly recommend blending the mushrooms (cooked fresh ones or rehydrated) for such dishes! Have been testing my sister this way for two years now and she hasn't noticed so far ;D Works perfectly with lentils in any Shepperd's pie, burger, meatballs etc! I must say, this recipe sounds really lovely! Nothing but a flavourful, comforting and show-stopping dish! Thank you for the inspiration for my holiday meal! . Sending you all the love guys! Stay safe and have a great start of December!
Just finished watching and wow this came out amazing! I definitely want to make this for Christmas. Have loved trying your recipes so far, so can't wait to make this one! Thanks for the detailed video, I'm sure this took a while to make and edit!
I've been telling Stevie, my daughter, that I want to make a wellington for the holidays. She keeps saying no. She's a poop.ha ha Now I really want to make one. Yours came out so nice. Kudos to both of you.
So glad I came across your channel! I am Vegan for quite some time and still do Not like mushrooms, (my husband loves them), so you just thrilled me, THANK YOU!!! Wishing you a Happy Healthy Merry Christmas
This looks beautiful. I really enjoyed the style of this video and while I like watching people cook the whole recipe I felt like this was really different and appreciated hearing more from you two. Lots of good info! BTW, what is the brand of the frying pan here and where did you get it?
This was absolutely amazing, it made about twice as much filling as i needed but next time i will just make 2. My non vegan family tried it and went back for more, even my dad who "hates lentils"
This looks beautiful, so festive and fancy! I appreciate the care you took to explain every choice you made with the ingredients and presentation. I'd actually prefer this to a totally analogue one with seitan, because it doesn't need to be something other than what you made here; it's perfect. TFP!
This wellington is soooo good! I changed up some of the spices but stuck to the recipie otherwise, even did the fancy dough decoration! 😊 For anyone in doubt, just do it, it's not even that complicated.
Idk if it’s been said before but (no shade!) this video has convinced me that Andrew dyes his hair darker lol. Either that or he went through a gray hair period(?)
Hopefully y’all will make a cooking Wellington video, not a talk-comments -self reviewing boring video. I like you guys don’t mistake me I’m just being honest.
Yeah, just a video would work. It gets quickly to the point. It would be like a cook book that just has recipes. Other cook books have recipes and stories associated with the recipes. Some people I have met prefer the the storied cook books and seek them out. Others like the other format. Personally I run closer to the "get quickly to the point" group, but I enjoyed Larisha and Andrew's storied presentation. I learned more about the recipe and how to tweak the recipe, for those who need the tweaking, than just the recipe itself. It was refreshingly different. And... I loved their family stories and seeing how they interacted with each other. It made me smile.

Truth! LOL
Idk if it’s been said before but (no shade!) this video has convinced me that Andrew dyes his hair darker lol. Either that or he went through a gray hair period(?)
hahaha never. Larisha 100% has dyed her hair. It's definitely the lighting of the video

I am mystified at the Morning show format, why not just video the process?
