HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE WORLD!! I made the Wellington for our New Year's Eve celebration! Because one of my kids doesn't like mushrooms, I marinated jackfruit instead! It was delicious! the crust browned up nicely on it's own! Also made the gravy to pour on top! What a special treat!!! And impressive on the table!!! Thank you, Jill♥♥♥

I made this yesterday. Super!. I would just caution that there may not be enough salt in the crust. I will use a bit of salt next time and roll out the crust a bit thinner for me. Otherwise, delicious -= the best part? Gravy - wow!

I'm making lasagne (slight tweak with tofu ricotta for Dec 23), the smoked gouda cheese for a French Raclette along with the carrot dogs (pigs in a blanket fashion with the almond meal crust) Dec 24th , the colorful potato dish recently posted for Christmas day, and the shortbread cookies (using anise extract), laurabars (all kinds) and, the Christmas Spice cake!! A few sheets of rice paper might work. I don’t know how you would get a tortilla to hold together.
