I have one every day for lunch ,I put a scoop of Turmeric and Tomato Paste from Italy (No seeds or skins) dash of Rosemary ,Tyme and Oregano with a garnish of Parmesan Cheese
Love avocado dip with jicama sticks. Keep the pit for tea. My dip is made of avocado, flax seed, hemp seed olive oil mash it all sprinkle in pocorino ramano also some nutritional yeast. Yum
I mostly eat avocados with only black pepper but sometimes I mashed it, and add thinly sliced onions, black pepper, crushed garlic, olive oil and a little salt then, mixed and have it with 2 thin slices of almond and coconut flour bread; it's very filling and delicious!
I make a salad with a cucumber an avacado cut up in chunks and a teaspoon of capers then my homemade dressing. I take 1 ounce of olive oil, 1 ounce of organic apple cider vinegar and 1 ounce of port wine and add a pinch of pepper and paprika.
I am for Team Avocado. I used to have avocado for breakfast every day. That is probably why my daughter almost get sick ha ha ha ha ha ha. I love it with plantain salt and pepper or a tortilla with scrambled eggs.
I love avocados also. What I do is drizzle a nice dose of olive oil on top of it. I just had one before. :) Being that the skin peels of easily I peel it off first before eating it. No need to scoop it out that way.
Me, too, the skin peels right off and you don't lose any like you do with scooping. At least that's how I did it before I knew I had a histamine intolerance, but that's neither here nor there.
I grow organic heirloom tomatoes and, since watching you recently, enjoy them peeled and seeded, chopped up in my salad with avocado and lots of other good things. Costco has the best avocados ever, but the 6 in the bag ripen all at once. As soon as they are barely ripe, I put 1 whole unpeeled avo in a pint sized mason jar and then vacuum seal it with a mason jar sealer and put it in the frig (amazon has one for $30). Then, whenever I'm ready for an avo, it's perfectly ripe and delicious. Just a lil tip for ya.
The benefits must be worth it unless you think Dr. Gundry isn't aware of the fat constituents of avocados. Also, it isn't an inflammatory ratio unless you're already packing your diet with Omega 6 fatty acids like with French fries.
@@allhimwithme5115 The linoleic acid content dwarfs the omega 3 content (according to some other videos about it in the Low Carb Community; i.e., Paul Saladino MD). As a staple daily, it may be a bit much, even if on a good diet, if one is still dealing with various inflammatory issues. Just saying. I suspect the benefits out-weigh the negatives of the high linoleic acid
We mexicanos make guacamole with the holy Trinity: Chile, Tomate, and Cebolla, with a drizzle of lime and if you like a little bit of chopped cilantro. Guacamole is a native mexican food. Listen to the old mexican abuelas. Guacamole is the food of the Gods. It comes from the Aztec Nahuatl word ahuacamolli, which translates to avocado sauce. Āhuacatl: aguacate(avocado) and Mōlli: sauce.
Dr Gundry, we have been faithful followers for several years. My husband has stopped eating his beloved eggs except one a month due to the connection with prostate cancer. Could you comment please?
Hello Dr. Gandry. My name is Nataliya Belikova. I am writing you to express the gratitude to your health discoveries and asking you if you ever concidered opening lectans free restaurant. My husband is an incredibile cheff with lots of experience and a great fan of your breakthroughs in health industry. So I thought why don't we contact Dr. Gandry and ask if he is looking for a cheff who will be passionale about Dr. Gandry's diet and will cook with a great purpose to serve people making them healthier by feeding the right food? Looking forward to your response. Warm Regards Nataliya
Make avocado pit tea. Nuke the pit in your french press in cup of water 5 min. Then mash the pit. Add the mash back it the french press with hot water let steep all day. Drink it get 70 % of nutrition in tea.
Hey Dr. Gundry. You lost me when you said that peppers and tomatoes are not healthy :/. I understand that too many tomatoes and peppers can lead to acid reflux, but what made you label them as "not exactly healthy?"
Your jacket button is really struggling to hang on. I suggest cutting back a little on the avocados and olive oil. I know from experience that if I eat all the avocados and olive oil I want, I will have a higher body fat than I want. I'm at 12-13% body fat now. You appear to be 30-35% body fat which is considered obese. I know you used to be heavier, so you have improved since then which is good.
No, but the fact is that we can't eat a _perfect_ diet today. You have to decide how much you want to tax your liver which is one of your best cleansing organs along with the only organ that metabolizes fat. I drink a glass of organic wine on occasion...same thing. Oh, and if you mean straight up that's obviously not nearly as bad as in a mixed (TOXIC) drink that's not only hard on your liver from the alcohol but the fructose in sugar, too.
Warning! Eating Avocados every day may switch your gender. Also, I have question for Dr. Gundry: Is it more healthy to drink my coffee with Goatmilk or Cowmilk, or doesn't it matter at all if I drink it with milk (yes I already know you say drink it black, but I can't).
Dr. Gundry isn’t going to answer your question - (actually he has in other videos) - maybe a viewer will if they’re not put off by the weird gender thing
Eating avocados every day won't turn you into the opposite gender, but it might give you the power to make some seriously tasty guacamole at your next gender reveal party.
@@aexetanius I got 2 Avocados as a gift once, and both times they were rotten inside. I don't think I would enjoy the taste anyway, but of course it's healthy allegedly. The gender thing was just a bad joke, I am not insane or brainwashed.

How timely! I just finished my avocado for the day. I keep it simple-salt, pepper, lemon jiuce and scoop with a spoon.
Love avocado dip with jicama sticks. Keep the pit for tea. My dip is made of avocado, flax seed, hemp seed olive oil mash it all sprinkle in pocorino ramano also some nutritional yeast. Yum
I just spoon mine out no salt no pepper no nothing other than a spoon yummy
I just love 🥑, and I prepare them as guacamole with 🧄 and olive oil. So good!! 🤗🙏🏼

I love avocado plain or with garlic hummus and a couple black olives on top. I don’t eat hummus all the time
I drizzle seasoned rice vinegar on my avocado. So yummy! 😋
I am for Team Avocado. I used to have avocado for breakfast every day. That is probably why my daughter almost get sick ha ha ha ha ha ha. I love it with plantain salt and pepper or a tortilla with scrambled eggs.
I eat a avocado a day for lunch with polyphenol olive oil and iodine sea salt so delicious 😋
My wife and I enjoy eating ours daily. We do salt and pepper, then put some chevre goat cheese where the pit was. Yum!
I Love Avocados and eat them frequently!
Thank you Dr. Gundry for the information

Actually avocado is better combined with a carbohydrate. It actually impedes the digestion process if you have it with protein.
GUNDRY IS THE BEST- MY AVOCADO DIP. I USE THE JAMAICA THAT I GET SAT FARMERS MARKET TO DIP IT. RIPE AVOCADO SAVE THE PIT FOR TEA

Thank you for all your Podcast. Question: Do avocados contain Omega-6? If yes is it OK?
I love avocados too!! I am going to try the avocado and egg for breakfast.
It’s a top tier combo 😋
Here's what I do....spoon a couple of tablespoons of kimchi on it. Yet get the kick of the spices, plus you got the fermentation benefits of kimchi.
Do the benefits of the avocados off-set the rather high ratio of inflammatory linoleic acid (Omega-6 versus Omega-3)?

Great video!!!
I love avocado. I just wish it didn't cost $100.00 for one. 🥑😋
One of my fav for avocado is to add Sauerkraut and olive oil inside an half of an avocado 😊
me too 😊
Are canned tomatoes good when used in curries?

I’d go to that restaurant! May God Bless your idea whether it’s with this Doctor or someone else! Blessings!😊
Do you work for Costco , doc ?
Avocados make my feet swell up. Alchemy.
You know doc I have been eating avocados for a least 20 years and I know when I don't eat them.
❤finally someone responded! 😂
My favorite way is to cut it in half, add salt and pepper and mayonnaise, and cut it up and eat it
I remove the pit. Put Tabasco or cholula on it, eat one or two a day

Avocado, sesame oil, soy sauce, lemon juice and wasabi powder ,and you're ready to say 'ohayo'!
Yumm 🥑🥑🥑🥑🥚🍳🧂🧈
I unfortunately can not eat avocados, they create stomach pain for me. Anyone else? It's a shame as it's such a great food.
I can't eat them because I'm histamine intolerant. I feel your pain.
Avocado .......vitamin E
❤❤
Just watch out if you have histamine intolerance, MCAS, or sibo. Avocados are a high histamine food and just a half is considered high FODMAP.
I thought avocados are high in oxalates. Which is not good for the body at all
One avacado a day, keeps dr gundry away.
Potassium
way over the top with salt.....

But advocados come from another country? that not good I think I live in the Netherlands and the avocados come from Peru, Colombia
Say what ?
We have some from California here in mississippi
The ones I buy come from Florida, USA.

A2 casein milk like that from goats, sheep, or A2 breed cows is less inflammatory than regular USA milk that's mostly A1.
I wish he wouldn't curse so much.
Buy his books instead. Or go somewhere else for your health information. He is who he is and doesn't have to change for you.
