    Goat milk and sheep milk/cheese/yogurt is fine. My Italian mother, who turns 100 in October 2022, has been eating sheep and goat cheese all her life. No need for cow milk.

      @Taiwo Omotosho Maybe 2 or 3 eggs a week. But she eats plenty of beans, peppers and tomatoes. That's the Mediterranean diet...not just olive oil like some would have you believe. There is nothing wrong with eating peppers, eggplant, tomatoes and beans. Every blue zone in the world eats beans and they certainly don't pressure cook them.

      Italy is the country where most cases of psoriasis occur, due to the high consumption of nightshade plants (toxin lectin). Joint pain also comes from it. But of course not everyone reacts so strongly to it.
      So one should not generalise that it is basically good or bad! It is important to observe your body reactions and take them seriously.

    • @mikepetrilli4686
      @mikepetrilli4686 Год назад

      @@susanneschauf7417 Really and you know for a fact that the cases of psoriasis occur, due to the high consumption of nightshade plants (toxin lectin...lol). First off you might want to get your fact straight. Norway has the most prevalence of psoriasis (1.98% of the overall population) not Italy. The Caribbean (0.2%) and Latin America (0.16%) that eat tons of "toxic" beans and other nightshades as a staple have one of the lowest prevalence of psoriasis in the whole world! The real reason for the high prevalence rates in some regions is a combination of genetic and environmental factors, and the reason for high incidence rates is also because of improved access to medical care leading to diagnosis of milder cases and increased public awareness. Not the fact that you are eating eggplants....lol Nightshade detractors that like to sell books, say that while not acutely toxic, the consumption of tomatoes, bell peppers, eggplant and potatoes could ultimately contribute to bodily inflammation. But as a 2017 Harvard School of Public Health article aptly states, that’s an “unfounded myth”: there is no scientific evidence to support these claims . I'll believe the Harvard School of Public Health and more importantly my 100 year old Italian mother before this "doctor" any day!

    Steve Gundry is amazing. After I stopped drinking milk I had vast improvements in my pain levels and was finally able to lose weight like a normal person. Literally could not believe it. Turns out I had a slight allergy to this protein and thats also what caused my stomach pains. I literally for years went on to think it was just gas pains and never thought for a second it was the milk causing it. I lost 10 pounds a month after stopping milk while also doing intermittent fasting, I am coming here after being off milk for 8 months and I am eternally grateful for all of your health advice.

    Dr. Gundry adds important points in his information on cow milk. Indeed it has milk sugar which will cause insulin spikes. But I can easily locate A2/A2 raw milk from a local dairy and ferment it into kefir. It's the best way to get A2 milk and not only that, the kefir grains consume nearly all of the milk sugar in the 24-hour fermentation process. Absolutely the best way to go, and with few carbs left in the finished product!

    One thing I noticed with buffalo mozzarella is that I feel bloated after 1 hour eating it. No other cheese causes this to me. There must be some protein in that cheese causing this. Or maybe it's the way they make it, at a certain point that cheese becomes elastic like a chewing gum. Kind of reminds me the way a piece of wheat dough becomes elastic after working it a bit.

    Pierre; Why is it ok to have goat and sheep yogurt and milks (ref. p.69 plant paradox quick and easy) and not organic , 100% grass fed A2 cows (like from Alexandre Farms). The feed for goats and sheep is routinely GMO alfalfa and almost never organic. Is there not IGF-1 in goat and sheep milk and yogurt, and therefore why eliminate organic 100% grass fed A2 Cow milk and yogurt on that basis. Basically why
    not eliminate milk and keep it to cheese and butter. Please clarify as this inconsistency is quite persistent. Thank you.

    milk (raw, guernsey cow, grass fed) should be for yoghurt, kefir, cheese etc not to drink directly. like our ancesters around the world.

    I drink A2. I think Dr. Gundry said in one video that Adventists who did well ate lot of cheese. Canada now has A2 options available in stores too.

      In my personal experience cheese helps in healing pain in muscles or osteo pain faster comparatively to milk. I had once experienced it with Paneer myself when I could not sleep on my right side for a month and eating Paneer straight for a week this year had significantly reduced that sciatica pain.

    But casein whether from A1 or A2 increases glutamate Excitotoxicity, doesn’t it? I’m concerned that therefore casein contributes to neurodegeneration. What are your thoughts Dr. Gundry?

      Plant based milk is just water and chemicals. A2 is very expensive. I can't afford it.
      Buddha and Jesus drank milk. The Bible talks about the land flowing with milk and honey that God wanted to give to the Israelites.

    I wouldn't say that you'd be able to fool people with goat cheese. its definitely has more funk than most cow cheeses.
