@r33mote you know why right? An openly racist demagogue deserve nothing less. Republican party was heading in the right way with more minorities coming into the party before his vile rhetoric about Mexicans and Muslims drove the country apart. Heck he even made vaccination and masking a political issue. The amount of misinformation told masterfully by the GOP and Fox News about Obama and his policies made the country into DSA (Divided States of America). I'm not saying the Dems aren't guilty of the division, but there is noone better at "us vs them" than the Reps.

This isn't even dipping into the idiocracy that is his logic, he's an idiot with a third grade reading level and a bad toupee. The fat lard probably can't even tie his own shoes in the morning. @@SocialAssasin I admire your dedication but most people refuse to see good in Trump but yet most would find some sort of compassion for a murderer. They refuse to see anything great Trump and his team did all while fighting the House, Senate and the media. Anybody saying Trump took more vacation days than any other President is definitely believing CNN or any mainstream media at this point. I guarantee you that none of these people have any idea how many children he saved? Not just here but around the world and that was his first priority along with building a wall, thank God. He created several teams to save hundreds of sex trafficked children. Never heard a word about it on the mainstream media of course. They were too busy lying about the Russian collusion hoax. All these people that hate Trump have no idea exactly what he did do and saved us from going to war if Hillary had won. There is no difference between democrats and Republicans well there might be a handful that are true Patriots in office but it's very little. They're the same just pretending to be different. These people may never see the truth because they are so brainwashed and filled with hate and with that much hate you can't see the truth. That's just facts. The establishment stole the election and most of the world knows it. There's still some that can't and will not see it because of their hate. Closing down the counting, votes taken from Trump and given to Biden right on the screen in real time but people don't want to hear that stuff. They like their lies. Not only did Trump win the popular vote he also won the electoral college. He won by a landslide and more than any other President in history. He also worked hard to get 4 peace deals in the middle east. He also got our drugs lowered but first week in Biden made sure that was over. Now insulin is hundreds of dollars again instead of under $75. Then the cheaters and liars paid antifa, blm and another group to storm the capital and dress like Trump supporters. Too many videos uploaded to social media proving this and shows several in the capital before Jan 6th getting a tour and where they'll be and where weapons would be hiding inside for them to use. That's right, it's always Trump no matter what. That's right it was Biden that signed 40 EO's within 6 days of being sworn in mostly prerecorded. It's interesting these people that say such vile things about Trump don't research anything to see if anything at say is true. Maybe they just hate being wrong and believing the lies after so many people have challenged them on this position and that would prove just how easy it is to manipulate them. At least you see truths and are not brainwashed by the media. Maybe this other person will circle back when they do some research. 😉

The one part about this speech that I find a little repetitious, is his contradictive
parts. Between how he describes the patriots and traitors, his description of
Laine's personal virtues, almost like the script writer thought the viewers were
either getting bored or stopped paying attention at some point.
And the 'I have a dream' reference is irrelevant here, IMO. No I'm not racist or even bigoted, but I do have a big issue with ignorance and any form of intolerance, anyone who's read some of my comments, lengthy as they may be, should already know that.
Unless you're one of those cherry pickers, and I notice
their methods pretty fast. If you don't agree with this, it's fine, but unless it's a thumbs down, explain why and maybe we'll discuss it...

The POTUS goes outside through an unwatched door in the White house and the secret service does not know where he is. and those hearings, no one would be be suicidal to keep that nominee, for a president to call an individual congressman and for the combined house to all stand and cheer. President Jackson Evans: [adressing the Congress] Napoleon once said when asked to explain the lack of great statesmen in the world, that "to get power you need to display absolute pettiness; to exercise power, you need to show true greatness." Such pettiness and greatness are rarely found in one person... Laine Hanson has asked that I allow her to step aside. She asked me to do this because she wants my presidency to end on a note of triumph and not controversy. Understand, those of you who worked to bring Laine Hanson down, that she asked to have her name withdrawn from consideration, NOT because she isn't great, but because she isn't petty. Because those two forms of leadership traits could not live in her body or her soul. Greatness. It comes in many forms, sometimes it comes in the form of sacrifice - that's the loneliest form.

"Chapel of democracy" he calls it. First, the United States was founded on the concept of LIBERTY, not democracy. The word "democracy" does not appear anywhere in the US Constitution. Second, you can't advocate for a separation of church and state while simultaneously calling the state your church. Those two thoughts are contradictory, but double think is the basis for the entire western left and is why democrats are mentally unfit to hold office.
The film frames this pathology as a noble idea; but when democracy, rather than liberty, is your god, the president your infallible pope, and representatives your clergy, then you stop being a citizen and become a subject, and anyone who voices a word of dissent stops being a citizen and becomes a heretic that must be excommunicated or purged. You're seeing that play out 20 years after the movie was released- the democrat agenda to upend and abolish the traditional American way of life, what is commonly called the culture war, is their holy crusade against the enemies of their god.

If not, then its not a reflection of the quality of the scene, but just of one's individual political preferences. To me, this is the weakest part of the movie, basically an over-the-top POTUS ignoring separation of powers and acting tyrannical. They should have cut it.
