reinforced boots would be a top tier pick on small maps like shipment. the benefits of the ninja vest and covert sneakers don't mean anything on those maps and stuns, flashes and other movement reduction effects get spammed a lot.
Overall a good season despite the lack of zombies and ground war content. It’s good to see them finally focus on MP this year but I wish they would at least just port over old ground war maps. I wouldn’t mind going back to the MW’19 maps with the new movement and weapons that we have now
Love to see it and love how they implement the AW guns without making them feel out of place like the EM1 laser. This MP year has been fantastic so far, and all I could really ask for is the return of Specialist perks at this point and some streak buffs.
Ground war is such a forgotten child. They should bring all ground war maps since mw19 into mw3, and any future game that has ground war. Promenade can stay in mw19 though
I'm trying to give this comment from a younger perspective, but I feel like younger me would definitely appreciate those random game modes that don't make sense because one day you'll look back at it and see the memories you made and laugh about them. So yeah, they might be dumb game modes but they make for funny moments
Maybe I’m insane, but I could’ve sworn that the Bruen had an aftermarket kit at the release of MW3. I remember it boosting the fire rate and decreasing the base damage while also shortening the barrel and the stock. I might be getting it mixed up with Pulyemot, but I have such a vivid picture of the Bruen with the aftermarket section available in my head
The game needs dedicated dev teams. What I mean is there needs to be teams dedicated specifically to map design for the modes, maybe even two teams one for warzone and one for multiplayer (the warzone maps and even any MP map could easily be converted into zombies maps so there does not need to be a dedicated but they don’t care about zombies anyways so it doesn’t matter much). There needs to be two dedicated weapon balancing teams one for warzone and one for multiplayer since the weapons have to be balanced differently because of the pacing and combat ranges. There should be a dedicated team for new weapons, perks, attachments/aftermarket parts, lethals, tacticals, and field upgrades; they can just come up with whacky ideas while the other team can work on balancing. And there should be a dedicated team to bug fixes, we can be the QA testers but they have to be open and honest so we can work together and they have to listen, which sledge is usually pretty good with, thankfully. Finally, this isn’t really what I see as necessary but some thing that would be beneficial, a dedicated team for zombies and co-op modes so there isn’t this situation of lacking content for one mode or another because they decided to focus heavily on one area of the game. The reason I see this as necessary is because right now Sledghammer, Treyarch, and Infinity Ward are just playing catch-up with their updates, for the last 5 years at least they have been slacking somewhere and especially within the last three years. This isn’t entirely a fault of the dev teams of course it’s mostly Activision’s mismanagement, of course saying “mismanagement” implies they try to manage anything at all, all they care about is the paycheck. Which is why this will ultimately fall on deaf ears. Ultimately, I am curious to see what everyone else thinks about these ideas. TL;DR: there should be multiple dedicated dev teams to balancing, bug fixes, map design, and new content for each game-mode (multiplayer, warzone, zombies, co-op)
RE: Ground War map variety..... If this game was originally intended as a year 2 for MWII, then the devs really just need to bring MWII Ground War maps over to MWIII
I wonder if theyre thinking of a new Advanced Warfare game in 2026 or 2027? 3 eludes to Advanced Warfare and that 6 star map sure looks mighty wall runnable
If would be awesome if Sledgehammer's next game was another AW game. I think we're far enough removed from the previous advanced movement games that getting one would feel like a refreshing change of pace. Just don't do 3 of them in a row and burn people out like last time.
The bal27 behaved like that with each version jjst the steed reduced the intial fire rate more. And also the amr9 AMP is actually the advanced warfare AMR9. And tbh only thing i dont like the sounds of is that equipment vest, i think they should block the gear slot so yes u can spam nades and tacticals but u cant resist them.
Lots of content, im actually satisfied on how much they have worked on. Also like that some of the zombies' features are added to MP. The M16 in zombies whne PAP becomes a full auto rifle. Some burst smgs become full auto bursts or have doubled burst rates. Its nice they are looking into mix-matching zombie and MP features.
Just give us Ground War players some slices of the the latest Warzone map. We don't need anything unique to GW. Just slice up that big ol' map and let us go.
After the recent videos I am starting to think SHGs entire studio is subbed to this dude... Or maybe Microsoft did more changes in background than we can see. Maybe Ace gets a ton of questions on how to improve the game? Giant conspiracy, I know. But Ace should be part of the development of COD games imo, even if it's just a minor role.
Happy to see some serious content drop this season ! But I’ve always wondered why we didn’t get all MW2 maps at launch, I mean the game was designed with the idea of being a dlc at first
I'm praying that they'll actually bring the MW2 weapons up to speed with MW3 weapons this season, them adding aftermarket parts specifically for MW2 weapons, and one of the community rewards for CODM being an M4 blueprint gives me hope that this is the case
The Mors sniper rifle is the one rumor I was hoping was true. That gun help me get good at sniping and getting those one shot kills because after all you had to reload after every shot.
It's nice that MW2 arms are getting a bit of love this season. There are only a few MW2 weapons that are viable in MW3 and it would be nice if Sledgehammer tuned a few more.
Remember when we just had regular assed perks for like 15 years without having to compromise left and right on everything and you always had a lethal and a tactical? I’d take the old format in a new package any day
With that compression carrier how does it work against smoke grenades? If you’re wearing the vest does it make the smoke less thick or it doesn’t even appear on your screen?
I feel the reason Ground War isnt receiving more maos is due to the mode not being popular. I play Ground War regularly with MW2019 but each subsequent release in the Modern Warfare franchise has done nothing with it. I personally hate the respawn helicopter, it just completely removes that push and pull you'd have on maps. I haven't even tounched MW3 Ground War due to the ranges on weapons being pitiful compared to MW2. You have to close the large distances so much to even have a fighting chance against snipers. The maps are way too open in some high traffic areas as well. Ground War just isnt good this year. They should have innovated on it like they did MP and Warzone but they left it as is expecting people to stay. I get thats its super casual but they could have at least tried do to more thungs with it.
It's crazy how this Modern Warfare has the worst Ground War maps in the last 3 years and it's also the least supported, that's incredibly idiotic and a slap in the face of one of the best modes in recent times.
The only time I’ve ever been able to get a ground war game under 120+ ping was the first free weekend where they had it as one of the free modes. (I’m in Australia and have to play on Asian servers if I even find a match)
Yeah I bought the game because of how fun the free weekend was playing ground war but after that was over the mode just slowly died and now I've gone back to playing MW19. I wish I could get a refund on MWIII.
@@MikeHuntSchmelz yeah that’s a bummer man. They need to have less limited game modes so that Ground War is more likely be chosen. Like small maps, 10v10, a random one, War and Ground War and that’s it. Do you play Battlefield? It’s essentially all Ground War, it might scratch that itch for you.
The modular rig (scavenger vest) was leaked since the game came out. They basically brought back old school scavenger before it got neutered, and introduced restock.
Barely anyone plays ground war, and understandably so, cuz 90% of the players are in vehicles, on roofs with snipers, or dropping wherever they want with the spawn chopper. If i leave a match it will always put me on the same lobby cuz there isn't even another one available, it's a dead mode. Not surprised that they're not supporting it post-launch.
The Bal-27 behaved like this but for the first 5 shots. On all versions of the gun, at least mathematically supposed to but that game had frame rounding which messed with a lot of the design intent that SHG had at the time.
So speaking of perks. What does the threat indicator do in game? It seems it supposed to work similar to the evg perk. Also good to see the models 1887 back, full auto m16 and of course the 5 round burst amr9 from AW. And the mors kit sounds like a variant it had in AW
MP9 should have been in the handgun category. A shame the 1887s won't make an appearance as an actual selectable shotgun with akimbo as an optional attachment

Ace could you do a stat breakdown of all the secondary fulll auto pistols (including full auto aftermarket attachments?
Escort is basically Safeguard from bo3 & Payload from Warzone 1 so im definitely excited for it to return
That’s what I was thinking!
Played Safeguard a lot in BO3.... just need some gravity spikes haha
@@GluttonyIsMySin bro i hated you guys i remember raging so hard when my team almost delivered the robot to the enemy base just to get continuously gravity spiked😭
i was more of a HIVE/Sparrow/War machine type of guy when attacking the robot so at least MW3 has the explosive crossbow and the RGL-80 to replace the last 2😭 but nah i fucking miss bo3 tho i had alot of good times on there
@lifeisshrt7929 yeah it was great, but then again, I enjoy pretty much every CoD I play.
reinforced boots would be a top tier pick on small maps like shipment. the benefits of the ninja vest and covert sneakers don't mean anything on those maps and stuns, flashes and other movement reduction effects get spammed a lot.
Overall a good season despite the lack of zombies and ground war content. It’s good to see them finally focus on MP this year but I wish they would at least just port over old ground war maps. I wouldn’t mind going back to the MW’19 maps with the new movement and weapons that we have now
The amount of excitement in your voice is incredible.. keep up that energy 😎
This is great! Just imagine how many more things they'll break with this amount of content when it goes live!
not expected but appreciated the Ground War shout out. Def my main mode and sad to see theres only 3 maps:/
Everytime I get bored they give me something to look forward too. I appreciate the effort lol
I'm really enjoy playing ground war and so sad to see 0 content from launch
I'm SOOO very PLEASANTLY surprised to see
so much 6v6 MP content !!
THANKS SLEDGE !!
The first one,6 star is litterally raid from bo2...look at the layout, it's identical in every single way lmao
It is simular and i kinda like it already
They are 100% watching your videos. No one would have thought of a dang charged sniper. That came straight from you, weeks ago.
I’m so glad we’re not getting any tiny maps and they’ve made up for the lacklustre first two seasons
Looks like they’re focusing on growing their MP base.
6 star looks very similar to raid, even down to the map layout.
As a SnD player, I despise all the small maps, so disappointing.
This season sounds so fun, especially those aftermarket parts
The bal27 behaved like that with each version jjst the steed reduced the intial fire rate more. And also the amr9 AMP is actually the advanced warfare AMR9. And tbh only thing i dont like the sounds of is that equipment vest, i think they should block the gear slot so yes u can spam nades and tacticals but u cant resist them.
The season looks cracked just from 0:13
Lots of content, im actually satisfied on how much they have worked on.
Also like that some of the zombies' features are added to MP. The M16 in zombies whne PAP becomes a full auto rifle. Some burst smgs become full auto bursts or have doubled burst rates. Its nice they are looking into mix-matching zombie and MP features.
I was really happy to see this much new content but i'm still very disappointed we haven't had a single new ground war map
I wish they brought back demolition! Also cool that the model 1887s are returning via aftermarket parts!
Is it only me or is 6 Star similar to Terrace from AW?
Layout reminds me of Raid.
Wow, thank you so much Sledgehammer for paying attention to us OG 6v6 fans who have been here for you since Day1! :D
12:00 Isn't that like that sniper rifle from Black Ops 3 that you said you wanted to see in the game in a recent video?
P-06 is 3-round burst. This MORS kit still only shoots 1 bullet but makes it chargeable like a true railgun in other shooter games.
Haven’t played mwIII since second month of launch and I haven’t been happier. Just here to support your channel ❤
Same lol
I loved the weapons from AW love to see the jak Atlas kit and the Moris sniper with its creative conversion that makes it stand out!
Just give us Ground War players some slices of the the latest Warzone map. We don't need anything unique to GW. Just slice up that big ol' map and let us go.
Grime looks awesome. Gives me “Cheshire Park” vibes from MW’19
As a OG Cod player seeing all them maps is insane! This is a record lol
Didn't Ace say that he wanted a charged sniper rifle? SHG definitely watched Ace's videos
That Gunslinger Vest is going to go stupid hard with the Daemon
I'm so ready
Happy to see some serious content drop this season ! But I’ve always wondered why we didn’t get all MW2 maps at launch, I mean the game was designed with the idea of being a dlc at first
I'm praying that they'll actually bring the MW2 weapons up to speed with MW3 weapons this season, them adding aftermarket parts specifically for MW2 weapons, and one of the community rewards for CODM being an M4 blueprint gives me hope that this is the case
Always happy to see Vanguard maps return. They were great
The Mors sniper rifle is the one rumor I was hoping was true. That gun help me get good at sniping and getting those one shot kills because after all you had to reload after every shot.
It's nice that MW2 arms are getting a bit of love this season. There are only a few MW2 weapons that are viable in MW3 and it would be nice if Sledgehammer tuned a few more.
I wish they'd port over more Gunfight and Ground War Maps
This might be the most content packed season we've had in the free update era. Really excited
The Grime 6v6 map is defo from the campaign mission called Trojan.
Not keen on small maps because the spawns are bad in this game
Even if spawns are good, it's always going to be shotgun hell on those microscopic maps
I joked to myself that they added Estate, but now seeing a top-down look at 6 Star.... yea that's Estate
This is my first multiplayer experience for COD…Seems like this game is really good and fun!!
Remember when we just had regular assed perks for like 15 years without having to compromise left and right on everything and you always had a lethal and a tactical? I’d take the old format in a new package any day
Played groundwar primarily in mw and mw2... Cant even joing a ground war game in mw3
With that compression carrier how does it work against smoke grenades? If you’re wearing the vest does it make the smoke less thick or it doesn’t even appear on your screen?
This actually sold me on finally buying the game. Was a big fan of AW, gotta show my support for 6 v 6 content and be able to use the Bal in 2024 lmao
I could be wrong but 6 Star's layout reaaaally reminds me of raid. 0:58
It's crazy how this Modern Warfare has the worst Ground War maps in the last 3 years and it's also the least supported, that's incredibly idiotic and a slap in the face of one of the best modes in recent times.
That one map with the pool looks really cool. I’m kinda restarted so I like when maps have bright colors
they brought back the specialist perk from MW 2019 into a vest which is nice to have it back
7:44 take a shot for every time he says “Nearby allies”
We have enough small maps i hope going forward we start getting primarily medium sized maps
Escort is my all time favourite game mode, I'm so exited to see it come back.
The modular rig (scavenger vest) was leaked since the game came out. They basically brought back old school scavenger before it got neutered, and introduced restock.
Generational update from SHG. Haven't played much MWIII in 2024 but plan to jump back in with this update, assuming it doesn't break the game lol
3:20 Bring back Verdansk Airport with the Control Tower!
The Bal-27 behaved like this but for the first 5 shots. On all versions of the gun, at least mathematically supposed to but that game had frame rounding which messed with a lot of the design intent that SHG had at the time.
Enjoying this cod so much, they’ve done a great job with the mechanics and content.
Wish they added ground war maps as well, even if they are just chunks of the warzone map, but glad to see the 6v6 players are eating good this season.
We want MW2019 ground war maps!!!
Seems pretty awesome, will definitely be using the gunslinger vest.
Well done SHG this is a TON of stuff for MP
I'm happy we're getting more content but this is only happening because they realized with the low sales they can't drip feed content anymore, but it also seems cold is making a good turn around
Ahhh here it is. I been waitin on your vid.
Content is king
The aftermarket part for the mors is going to essentially turn it into the Po6 from bo3
6-Star looks like Terrace from Adavnced Warfare, kinda cool to see them in a literal different light.
Quick fix and 6 maps? Huge W
Ground war and 3v3: are we a joke to you?
