for me when it comes to handguns i've really liked rocking the GS Magna, up close it kills in three shots which nets it a pretty good ttk at that range (roughly 246ms if i recall correctly), it can be great for if you get caught needing to reload your primary, also just fun to run in close quarters maps
It’s pretty nutty. I’ve been messing around with it in S&D, and especially if you get the first shot off you can win most gun fights within 15m. Too bad the max magazine is 13 rounds.
There's currently a bug with the lever action, I'm leveling it up for the 1887 aftermarket parts next season, and when you don't have an optic equipped, the hammer blocks the front sight.
@NintendoConsoleGamer I didn't find it too bad, the hammer is pretty much where the front sight is. I just went on HC shipment and small map mosh pit. Once you unlock optics at level 7, everything is pretty normal, except for the floating rounds, lol.

I’ve been getting a lot of mileage lately out of the RAPP H, myself The TTK feels reasonable, but the mobility it can wield, especially ADS movespeed, relative to other LMGs feels ludicrous to me
Main thing with me is the recoil. I feel the 45 glock is just better overall but the p890 does have a lot of potential I think it can two shot as long as u hit at least one headshot
@@alexmaurice4274 that is correct and I believe iirc that the TTK is somewhere around 170 with a headshot which is how if I’m on my game I can beat out a lot of players. But if you’re having an off day it’s still a decent gun with an average ttk.
im glad you put the sakin and rpk on here cause ive also been testing the mw22 guns. i noticed that these 2 stood out a lot more and the sakin surprised me cause i never used it in mw22 and it was dropping people pretty quickly. my favorite gun to use from mw2 atm is the m13b and the p90
I wish the RAAL had a damage buff instead of mobility. It feels weird having a chonky .338 machinegun do less damage than the PKM. I guess 3-shotting would be OP, but it should have a really long 4-shot range.
I've been using the Deagle as my sidearm since MWIII launched, just because it still felt powerful and satisfying to shoot. Like in executions that use a pistol for the animation, the Deagle is the perfect send off, and it doesn't "hit" quite as hard if I have the WSP or Tec9 for example. I still feel like the MW19 Deagle was a little better though.
It actually has a much better one shot region and range than in MW19, although it had much better idle sway. MW2 also gave it that amazing inspect animation so it's clearly better lol
I liked the Taq M, but that first shot always throws me off. For shottys, I've found success with the Expedite 12 and the MX Guardian. The expedite 12 I've found to move a little faster with my preferred set-up and close in for that one shot. With the MX Guardian, not an optimal set-up but still did pretty well just messing around with the burst trigger and slugs. So far, my preferred MW2 weapon is the ISO9.
@@pimpchimp8181 It worked well for me on small maps. Has pretty good ADS walk speed. I normally stack on Stalker Boots on top of that. If they could buff the reload speed, that would make it a much better shotgun. Bryson Improved Choke, Collapsed stock, Bruen Bastion Angled Grip, L-bolt for faster fire rate, Cronen Intlas MSP-12 for reduced Tac-Fire spread.
For my fellow sniper brothers, most the MW2 Snipers are still pretty solid, so if you enjoyed quickscoping in MW2 a lot of the snipers there are still very good
the aug hcr lmg is also pretty good in mw3, use the integrated suppressor barrel for better velocity and recoil control, combined with mw3 recoil attachments, it is laser accurate, and has a 324 ttk out to an infinite range, use 42 round to boost handling speed, so its defo a very good long range hanging back lmg, good for ground war.
a lot of the mw2 guns are quite good in mp but people dont know because they assume all of them are bad. m4, stb556, mp7, cronen squall, sakin, basp, mp5, razorback are all amazing.
They're not though. Get better. On 6v6 smaller maps its not a big deal. on warzone? okay, sure! but not 6v6. if you cannot hit your shots within 40 meters, thats a you problem.@@doratheexplosion6129
Lachmann-762 is a sleeper. It can do some serious work, but you do need Mag Holster since the reload is kinda bad. Also had some weird fun with the FTAC Recon too. Not sure why it worked so well for me, but it sure did! With the TAQ-M, I felt like I needed HV ammo or it felt super weird, even at close range. The AUG LMG is actually pretty fun to use. Very RPK like. The X13 Auto and FTAC Siege are also pretty good with a single weapon. Akimbo on both is really terrible. Barely kills anyone but a solo of either one can definitely shred. Both can make really short work of enemies, and cam both be surprisingly accurate. I have my X13 Auto built in such a way that controlling recoil is pretty easy. Same with the Siege.
@@ryaningraham6608 It certainly has DMR damage output but you can hardly use it as a DMR simply because it behaves like a typical heavy Sniper on every other metric. Just use the MTZ Interceptor instead and you'll have at least double/triple the success rate or kd.
Sorry if I'm wrong here but I'm positive the wrathguard muzzle and purifier muzzles are the best options on both the LMGs respectively, shown at the end of the vid, this gives a far better linear/vertical pattern with less side to side bounce for more accurate sustained fire especially over longer distances,...FYI I'm using your formulae from the earlier guides?
when i played shipment a ton the deagle was my secondary on every loadout since my primary typically a really close range weapon, mainly the lockwood 680 in mw3 but also the bryson 800 and 890 when it was mw2, so i have a soft spot for the deagle
Deagle all day. If i'm not worried about doing challenges for camos, i'm rolling with the .50, no question. Very stylish with the pistol executions as well. Maintains an intense sense of impact, even with the suppressor equipped.

I’m always using the “LUCA FIELD-6” scope, which is pretty similar to the “SP-X 80 6.6X” but instead of its 6.6-11x it has a 6.3-13x which isn’t a big difference, but I like its mid-long range zoom profile. (Also if you like to use solid color camouflage on your weapons, the LUCA FIELD-6 scope remains black if you choose a solid color camouflage) If you want a similar close-mid range optic like the “TELPO CLEAR SHOT” but without thermal, I can recommend the “HYBRID FIREPOINT” opitc, which is pretty identical and it even lets you use bipods (if you’re into that).
The bryson 800 and 890 are super good, in fact gumie made a video going over them. They habe 8 pellets instead of 6 and while their range is not the best, they have better sprint to fire. You should check them out if you like shotguns! (specifically in warzone)
Basilisk has quickly become my favourite weapon to use, with the range barrel and high grain you can one shot to the chest up to 12m, absolute monster at close range and 2 shots quite far out Plus it has the best inspect in the game, guaranteed to land your next shot after you use it

I think the mx guardian is bugged where you cant choose different triggers but if you have the ‘ghoulish’ blueprint for it it has the semi auto trigger and its so spammable and so easy to use, i think its better than the haymaker/riveter it is really good
Surprised to see the P890 and the SPR/LA-B not on here. They were insane on MWII and I figure they would still be great, but I haven't really tried them tbh.
I would've loved a video covering all the MW2 Battle Rifles ngl, I feel like there are some sleeper picks in there. The FTAC Recon, for starters, is a super consistent 3 shot kill in semi-auto and you can kill QUICK with a good trigger finger. Plays a lot like the Lachmann Shroud in semi-auto but with better range.
Great info, as always, thanks Ace! If you have a moment, would you clarify ADS/Sprint out time (SOT) from sprint. When sprinting, and you fire (from hip) that is SOT? But if sprinting and then ADS, is it just ADS, or ADS + SOT? Love the channel, my goto for COD unbiased, evidence based info. Please keep it up.
Sprintout time is the amount of time it takes when coming out of a sprint for your gun to be ready to fire, regardless of the ads time. The reason sprintout is only worth considering with hipfire on these sniper rifles is due to the fact that your ADS time is so much slower than the sprintout time so while you can fire out of a sprint fairly fast, you won’t be fully aimed in until well after the sprintout time completes. Also, ADS and sprintout happen simultaneously so you never add them together
Somethings up with the Daemon... in the shooting range, it's a 4 shot kill to the anywhere in the torso, but stats suggest it should be a 3 one (52 damage to whole torso), which aligns with your numbers. Is it bugged in the shooting range?
The so-14 has a close range ttk of 220ms. Very competitive up close. I have a tac stance build on it which is weird but decent. The rapp h has the same ttk as the rpd, but the range extends 20 extra meters and has less recoil. Really all the mw2 snipers are good enough to use (minus the carrack. 300) I agree all the mw3 shotguns are better than mw2 ones but the kv broadside can be built right with a 2 shot ttk of about 212ms and the mx guardian with a 2 shot ttk of about 182ms still very competitive for close range in this game overall. For side arms the x12 and gs magna are worth using. The cor45 has a 3 shot range of 10.5m at 200ms, the X12 has a 3 shot kill range of 17.3m at 230ms. Further reach a bit slower but still competitive ttk. The GS magna is a 3 shot within 14m, fully automatic killing in 246ms. Still faster than most the SMGs, also it's the fastest killing automatic secondary in the game. Tldr: the so14 (tac stance build), rappH, kv broadside, mx guardian, X13, GS magna and all the mw2 snipers (other than the carrack. 300) are all worth using.
And the TR-76 Geist has a mag that turns it into a pseudo dmr. Kills in 3 shots out to 45 to 50 meters in 250ms. And it drops to 2 shots if one is a headshot. Definitely usable
MCPR is my go-to sniper for Ground War, Invasion, and Warzone. Thing is an absolute monster when it comes to making the longest range shots possible. Use it with that one range finder scope and you'll pull off some amazing shots.
@@GerG0Gadget works great for me but this is my first CoD since BO3 so not sure how it was before. It’s great though for trying to estimate bullet drop. I mean I guess you learn your gun after a while but on those ridiculously long range impossible shots it’s helped me a few times. Nothing like killing some enemy sniper that’s taken out your entire team 12 times from across the map.

AR: Chimera is a beast, I'm not even joking it smacks mcws up close and at mid ranges. M13C because it has an extreme amount of flinch dealt to the enemy, thays huge for gun fights taking place in mid ranges. Kastov 74u for it's flexibility, as well as maneuverability. And just raw speed. Like this gun built right like for close quarters is nasty. Smgs: FSS hurricane in my opinion is the standout in the mw2 smg category for mw3. Want an smg that's as flexible as the kastov 74u with the same amount of power, this is the smg to use. Along with its huge amount of ammo capacity. Bas-p is the other silent close range assassin.. this thing melts up close. I'm talking about most cases it'll beat a swarm up close. At least how I built mines, do. My second favorite smg out of the mw2 smgs, the good ol fennec. This thing is another monster up close, and sometimes it can be affective out in mid range even. Fire rate is what makes it a beast up close. Battle rifles: Cronen squall is the star of that category and I was having huge success with it, just yesterday. Feels like a mw3 weapon to be honest. Shotguns: I dunno man shotguns in mw2 need love they actually struggle to kill up close, which should be a shotguns comfort zone. Marksman rifles: taq m was mentioned, but I think the real star to me is the tempus torrent. That thing is another two tap machine as well. Lmgs: sakin is a beast just like ace said in the video. Thing is a beast. And so is the rpk, like the rpk became my favorite lmg in mw3 now, even over the pkm. Another low key good lmg is thay raal mg. that thing hits hard. Pistols: thay gs magna is the only secondary that's consistent to me, and I love it. I think it's infinity Ward's fault. Like the mw3 weapons are good, but they're boring. I like using the mw2 weapons simply because it's more satisfying to master their recoil patterns, considering they have more recoil than the mw3 guns. I find myself going back to the mw2 weapons more often.
Something is definitely wierd about the Squall. I grinded all of its mastery, and didnt get a 4 shot kill ever. It always took 5 torso shots. Idk why tho, becaus ethat shouldnt be the case
Taq56 extended mag with drill charge under barrel and drill charge lethal, ammo box field upgrade. No head glitching campers allowed. Then they nerfed the taq56 into a coffin. No fun allowed.
It's a shame about the Shotguns....those were some of CoD's best they put out....The 300, KV, both Brysons,and of course the MX Guardian in Semi-Auto.... Expedite was ok and Basilisk Snake Shot was nice too... RIP
U guys should try out the 74u. It's listed as a ar, but it's a smg and it slaps already got over 3k kills with it and close to a 2kd with that gun that just tells u everything u need to know

RAAL is super powerful after all of its buffs. If the other MW2 guns could get its treatment they would be pretty good
RAAL is also has good mobility too my build has ~270ms ADS time

Most of the mw2 snipers are just as good as they were last year if anything better since the ttk is the same for them from last year
It's just the Carrak that feels kind of neutered. It works better as a big DMR

Love me the MG38! :) I would love if they did a 5.56 conversion that turned it into the insanely fast fire-rate version you see in CS:GO for example!

M13B is ridiculously good and my best MW2 gun.
I played couple matches with the Vaznev and used the BlackCell blueprint with no changes and it felt kinda good.
Im becoming a bit of a demon with the crossbow with regular bolts, I run throwing stars with it and a pistol to deal with any hitmarkers 😅
M13B, Tempus Razorback and the Vel SMG are my favourite MWII guns in MWIII

When I have to snipe, I run the Intervention. I ran that non stop in the old days, and I have the throwback kit so I get the OG sound

My favourite too! Although I’m using a slower build, more as a sniper.
I find the FN MK20 a great looking rifle irl as well.

Surprised to see the P890 and the SPR/LA-B not on here. They were insane on MWII and I figure they would still be great, but I haven't really tried them tbh.
I would've loved a video covering all the MW2 Battle Rifles ngl, I feel like there are some sleeper picks in there. The FTAC Recon, for starters, is a super consistent 3 shot kill in semi-auto and you can kill QUICK with a good trigger finger. Plays a lot like the Lachmann Shroud in semi-auto but with better range.
Ace is right about the shotties. I hated the MWII shotguns. They felt neutered compared to the MW2019 shotguns.
The GS Magna and the Sakin are beastly weapons
M16 is kinda underated
With the JAK Patriot kit coming out next week, I doubt that will last
Great info, as always, thanks Ace! If you have a moment, would you clarify ADS/Sprint out time (SOT) from sprint. When sprinting, and you fire (from hip) that is SOT? But if sprinting and then ADS, is it just ADS, or ADS + SOT?

Sprintout time is the amount of time it takes when coming out of a sprint for your gun to be ready to fire, regardless of the ads time. The reason sprintout is only worth considering with hipfire on these sniper rifles is due to the fact that your ADS time is so much slower than the sprintout time so while you can fire out of a sprint fairly fast, you won’t be fully aimed in until well after the sprintout time completes. Also, ADS and sprintout happen simultaneously so you never add them together

The MCPR in this game felt very smooth to use for some weird reason. I can see myself using this more often. 😅
Somethings up with the Daemon... in the shooting range, it's a 4 shot kill to the anywhere in the torso, but stats suggest it should be a 3 one (52 damage to whole torso), which aligns with your numbers. Is it bugged in the shooting range?
The so-14 has a close range ttk of 220ms. Very competitive up close. I have a tac stance build on it which is weird but decent.
The rapp h has the same ttk as the rpd, but the range extends 20 extra meters and has less recoil.
Really all the mw2 snipers are good enough to use (minus the carrack. 300)
I agree all the mw3 shotguns are better than mw2 ones but the kv broadside can be built right with a 2 shot ttk of about 212ms and the mx guardian with a 2 shot ttk of about 182ms still very competitive for close range in this game overall.
For side arms the x12 and gs magna are worth using. The cor45 has a 3 shot range of 10.5m at 200ms, the X12 has a 3 shot kill range of 17.3m at 230ms. Further reach a bit slower but still competitive ttk. The GS magna is a 3 shot within 14m, fully automatic killing in 246ms. Still faster than most the SMGs, also it's the fastest killing automatic secondary in the game.
Tldr: the so14 (tac stance build), rappH, kv broadside, mx guardian, X13, GS magna and all the mw2 snipers (other than the carrack. 300) are all worth using.
Oh, also the ftac is a 3 shot kill out to 43m at 212ms. Definitely viable.
And the TR-76 Geist has a mag that turns it into a pseudo dmr. Kills in 3 shots out to 45 to 50 meters in 250ms. And it drops to 2 shots if one is a headshot. Definitely usable

MCPR is my go-to sniper for Ground War, Invasion, and Warzone. Thing is an absolute monster when it comes to making the longest range shots possible. Use it with that one range finder scope and you'll pull off some amazing shots.
Wait that rangefinder actually works now? Back in MIIW it didn’t work at all for me, like it stopped indicating correctly after like 100 meters.
@@GerG0Gadget works great for me but this is my first CoD since BO3 so not sure how it was before. It’s great though for trying to estimate bullet drop. I mean I guess you learn your gun after a while but on those ridiculously long range impossible shots it’s helped me a few times. Nothing like killing some enemy sniper that’s taken out your entire team 12 times from across the map.

AR: Chimera is a beast, I'm not even joking it smacks mcws up close and at mid ranges. M13C because it has an extreme amount of flinch dealt to the enemy, thays huge for gun fights taking place in mid ranges. Kastov 74u for it's flexibility, as well as maneuverability. And just raw speed. Like this gun built right like for close quarters is nasty.
Smgs: FSS hurricane in my opinion is the standout in the mw2 smg category for mw3. Want an smg that's as flexible as the kastov 74u with the same amount of power, this is the smg to use. Along with its huge amount of ammo capacity. Bas-p is the other silent close range assassin.. this thing melts up close. I'm talking about most cases it'll beat a swarm up close. At least how I built mines, do. My second favorite smg out of the mw2 smgs, the good ol fennec. This thing is another monster up close, and sometimes it can be affective out in mid range even. Fire rate is what makes it a beast up close.
Battle rifles: Cronen squall is the star of that category and I was having huge success with it, just yesterday. Feels like a mw3 weapon to be honest.
Shotguns: I dunno man shotguns in mw2 need love they actually struggle to kill up close, which should be a shotguns comfort zone.
Marksman rifles: taq m was mentioned, but I think the real star to me is the tempus torrent. That thing is another two tap machine as well.
Lmgs: sakin is a beast just like ace said in the video. Thing is a beast. And so is the rpk, like the rpk became my favorite lmg in mw3 now, even over the pkm. Another low key good lmg is thay raal mg. that thing hits hard. Pistols: thay gs magna is the only secondary that's consistent to me, and I love it.
I think it's infinity Ward's fault. Like the mw3 weapons are good, but they're boring. I like using the mw2 weapons simply because it's more satisfying to master their recoil patterns, considering they have more recoil than the mw3 guns. I find myself going back to the mw2 weapons more often.
Flinch has nothing to do with what gun you shot them with, it's based on the gun and attachments the enemy is holding.
Something is definitely wierd about the Squall. I grinded all of its mastery, and didnt get a 4 shot kill ever. It always took 5 torso shots. Idk why tho, becaus ethat shouldnt be the case
The buffed the squall in season 2 I believe it was. If you used it before that it was terrible

The SPX is just a worse Stalker in my opinion. It may be a tiny bit slower but has a much smaller projectile size

They were balanced for MW2 and 100hp, so many got shafted in 150hp MW3. They didn't nerf any of them for the transition tho
