@808Slush You have to realize that less than 25% of those that will be playing MW3 in 2023 are those that played MW2 in 2009. Infinityward isn't what it used to be not after the main heads left after making mw2 2009 because Activision didn't want to pay them what they created (royalties) They formed Respawn Cod after mw3 2011 had gone into a different direction and completely alienated the player base It went from good fun to loot boxes and bad decisions really quick It won't ever be the same
@@LUCAS420BLZstop parroting this stupid narrative. yes, the main heads left and went to respawn, but they created also arguably the best recent cod (mw19) as well as this new graphics engine which is amazing. mw2 wasn't as great, but its still miles better than vanguard or cold war. plus, infinite warfare gets unfairly trashed on.
I'm guessing they toned down the kick that amount due to 1) they really turned up the kick in MW2 compared to MW2019, and I noticed players weren't too fond of that 2) compensate for the adjusted TTK so landing multiple shots on players would feel more consistent since you have to put more shots into them for a kill
It also helps keep things more balanced between controller and M&K players. Given that they are not reducing the effectiveness of the aim assist, so more casual players have more chances.
Bro instead of maxing out guns this dude spent his time doing comparisons to the game to inform us whats different what a legend! Thanks for the informational video bro.
Wow its just like the og mw2 and og mw3 and this "DLC" has new campaign 10 year old maps remastered new weapons and new zombies and I see you havent played the newer hitman games where hitman 2 and 3 are just "DLCs" to hitman 2016
4:10 there is a laser attachment for smgs that lets you get rid of the ADS jump penalty so they could've potentially changed that perk to this attachment
I think the point is to make you give up something in order to have such a relatively strong ability. Idk if it's a good idea by the devs tho since bunny hoping is just part of the game now.
I still feel like this shouldn't be a full price retail release, it'd be a much smarter move to have the campaign be a premium release and then have the multiplayer be free. It's not like they'd be losing a massive amount of money since store purchases make up a massive chunk of their revenue, recall how MW22 made some ungodly amount of money from just store purchases - I think it was somewhere in the billions. So at this point most of us are paying $70 for a multiplayer title update that is essentially chump change compared to the revenue generated by the store
man, this is the same situation like it was with mwII, but because it came before warzone nobody noticed that MWII is basically the premium DLC to warzone. it is the same engine. it is the same launcher. you have the option to choose what to dowload. the same thing is here, but you now have two premium DLCs. MWII and MWIII
Lots of folks just stopped playing COD this year (especially KBAM players). I don't mind paying for the game this year considering I refunded last year's purchase after playing the MWII beta.
Just Accept that you dont Pay 70 for an MP Update. The Game is more than that. And you know it. Zombies, warmode and MP. Ppl now even get to keep stuff they Got and actually complain 😂
@@BobbyDigiono Nah I wouldn't want them to charge a full $70 for campaign and zombies, it should be about $45 which seems fair since people used to see things as you pay $30 for campaign/zombies and $30 for multiplayer. Back when games were $60
It'd be nice if they changed the ammo box where your character grabs a few mags as you throw it so you're refilled instantly instead of having to take 10 seconds to pick some up after you threw it
Just played my first hour, tell ya what they didn't change. . . spawning you in front of an enemy that is already shooting. Every map seemed like shipment all over again. And bullets going through buildings!? At least for me.
The only things I’ve really felt change were the movement between running, sliding, and aiming feeling more fluid. Although, I haven’t even gotten to snipe yet so that’s gonna be my decision maker. I always said that this game was probably gonna be a dlc and here I was last night looking for the beta and it turned out to be in mw2 😂. I really don’t think they should be charging so much. I’d really prefer they just charged us for map packs and maybe the battle pass because they’re just making too much money for this game.
Much less of a difference than most COD content creators were making it out to be. I would like to have seen more comparisons to MW2019. “We’re so back” my ass 😂😂
he forgot, reload cancel, snaking, the fact switching your weapon is fast like mw19, and theres no bunny hopping but the first jump around a corner is still very broken if you’re on the receiving end
I was never into Call of Duty. Then however the latest Battlefield sucked. So I started playing MW2. I do not have the history of the old COD's, but it's funny to see that everyone seems to love the changes. I like the fact, that once the magazine is taken out of the gun, you can not cancel it anymore for example. Or that mantling up an object just takes its time. I do not need slide canceling either. I know it is far away from being a simulator, but to some extent at least stay a bit more realistic. Yeah, the gun shakes a lot if you full-auto-fire. But firing full-auto should be difficult anyway in my opinion. JUST to me, the game gets worse. And the fact that they changed just a few things here and there, which could have even been tweaked in a few game updates too, absolutely does not justify the price tag of the MW3.
Talking graphics it's self. Like blurry. Or bad screen tearing or pixels. Or are you talking there background? Like the color of boxes and ground. Building and what not. Would like to know your opinion.
The actual visibility is way better it's just the nametags that are a problem I find it hard to tell the difference between teammates and enemies a lot. And teammate footsteps sound identical to enemy footsteps, it throws me off so much.
Name tags are a problem took me a couple hours to stop shooting friendlies and the fact the audio samples are exactly the same bro idk not feeling it at least not for 70 hell na
Damn I wish they made the munition box animation faster. I hate the little delay between the box hitting the ground - opening and actually being able to interact with it. And this seems super small but I love the white reticle in the visual recoil testing instead of the standard orange in MW2.
Am I the only one that thinks it is kind of stupid that Activision are too cheap to even pay companies for the right to call the weapon what it actually is in real life?
It’s actually really expensive. Don’t get me wrong I think they can afford it but they just don’t care. Legit I bet over 50% of the money they put into call of duty goes to working on bundles.
Fwiw I believe their decision to give the weapons fake names is because of CA state regulations around promoting/marketing of firearms to underage individuals, not necessarily because of the cost of licensing. Although activision probably does save a lot of cash as a by-product of this.
8:35 you should also test suppressor with sight smoke that in MW2 took al the sight entirely snd you cant see well if you don't have thermal in some scenarios
That 70$ DLC is sounding much more relevant now.. I just don't understand why so many things are similair or even close to MW2. All this talk about movement and we bascially have an slight faster movement than MW2 lmao.. c'mon
Yeah because Cold war, vanguard and MW2 is very similair. Stop defending this shit brother, it's not right and you know it. We want to get as far away from MW2 as possible. @@Redmont_
So far, really liking the difference in visual recoil and smoke while firing. I've yet to play the game myself since I'm on PC, but take the changes to movement combined with the positive changes to firing weapons and you can consider me genuinely interested. Will have to give the open beta a go this next weekend to see if it lives up to my hopes.
@@boomerboy8043 It's not the same at all. lol After going back to MW 19 and trying MWII again, it's plain as day how the increased visual recoil muddles your sight picture (especially with iron sights). Playing MW 19, I could actually _see_ my targets, even when engaging at range with iron sights. In MWII, as Ace pointed out, it feels like your operator is holding their weapon with a loose grip and the gun bounces like mad as a result. I'll always reserve final judgement for when I play the game, but this is looking good compared to MWII.
Mw 2019 lighting engine was way better. These past few cods are desaturated and grimy looking af. This is coming from someone who's done side to side comparisons on a monitor with 80% digital vibrance. if mwiii had 2019s graphics it could be almost as good. @@boomerboy8043
how can you like total no recoil like its a fraking fortnite. Gunplay is a good upgrade from cod ghosts though. But mw2019 gunplay is unmatched, mwiii is a big step down
I don't get why people complain about weapon recoil? That is how it is when you shoot a gun on full auto. The reticle of a red dot moves in the frame of the sight and the gun jumps around. It is more realistic to have that recoil and I honestly liked it.
I don't remember if you can or not in MW2, but I'm surprised you didn't mention that in MW3, you can fire your weapon while calling in a killstreak. I noticed it when I was calling in UAVs, so I'm not sure if it's killstreak specific.
@TheXclusiveAce a really big one I discovered is that if you survive explosive damage (frags/semtex) it won't interrupt sprinting, which means grenade spam won't be nearly as oppressive.
Hey Ace, you probably won't see this but I figured I'd share some information I found, if you have the pre-order for the carbon and you look through the weapons, you can see an under barrel drill charge launcher, so drill charges are in the game again
After trying the MW2 beta for about an hour and then never touching that game again, movement and TTK actually felt right on the money in the MW3 beta. Looking forward to getting another CoD again.
If the weapons from MW2 have the visual recoil muzzle flash get updated to match the MW3 weapons I feel a lot of them are going to become a lot more competitive, especially with iron sights
Also some of the barrel attachments actually change things up in terms of downsides. For example I saw a barrel that helps with handling but the range wasn't decreased, and there is a barrel that increases range but doesn't hurt ADS. Its so refreshing even with the limited experience in the beta
I just wanna know how that works irl lol. I know they want to give stuff downsides but "Reduced ADS Speed" on everything is boring and sometimes doesn't make sense.
I know right. People saying the gunsmith is so good. I'm over here having to remember which gun is related to what and all this shit. I'm so tired of it. I beg them to just go back to regular unlock system
@@conor-_C the entire thing where you have to level up a different gun to unlock a guns attachment is so dumb. What was wrong with using a gun and leveling it up and unlocking attachments? It's beyond confusing and dumb

Yeah but it isn't OG COD.. the maps don't make it OG COD.. they are long gone.. it's just a fruit machine disguised as a game and this year a DLC charged like a game... but keep buying! Well done 👍🏻
A big problem I had with MW2 is the gun visual shake, like even in the campaign I was super annoyed with it. I'm excited that MW3 has adjusted that!! Great video!!!
I think it's because of the bad lighting, makes the maps look very lifeless. Also the gun sounds don't sound as strong as mw19 and mwII probably SHG made them..
It looks like we'll never have a good Call of Duty again. Thank you MW 2019 and CW for providing good memories. Warzone with Verdansk and Rebirth (in the MW 2019 move) was the best Battle Royale I played, thank you IW for destroying our game.
Gotta be honest, after playing rust…. I hate it. Aim assist is basically non existent so every KBM player will demolish controller players. You can’t see anyone, let alone tell your teammates apart from the enemy. Every game is full of me and my teammates shooting each other. Glad they fixed gunplay but everything else is just too much. Every game now is pandering to the PC master race c*nts.
I played the beta for 3 hrs and then jumped back into mw2 for an hour or so yesterday..and I gotta say that I still feel like the one thing mw2 does well (not sure if better yet!) is gunplay, the weapons just feel better to me..although I’ve been using them for a year so perhaps it’s familiarity, guess time will tell.
You mean in mw2 they actually have recoil. Apparently people don't like recoil on guns. They mostly like the arcade shooting style games, especially the kids. I personally prefer realism to games.
Yep, I guess recoil is a huge factor when I think about it, but the mw2 guns feel more …I dunno robust!! This sounds stupid but they’re just more solid or something (for me anyhow) It’s hard to put into words, but recoil is probably a contributing factor for sure. I played the xD beta and mw3’s gunplay feels quite like that.
@@raptor_jdm realism is what made people hate cod lol... It's the whole reason everyone wanted the changes made in this game. If you want realism you have plenty of games to play but don't ruin cod for the people that want an arcade shooter.
Recoil ads more to the "skill gap" makes weapons diferent, and makes you decide between attachments, having 0 recoil on guns makes gunplay bland and boring
It seems like the BAS B doesn’t exactly hit where your sights are. Could you possibly look into this? I’ve heard other players/creators saying the same thing. Thanks!
I think there's a bug with it at range if you're engaging someone with a longer range scope with the glint. I noticed I was consistently landing shots visually but doing no damage
nice, it seems like they’re heading back into the right direction. maybe next year I’ll buy their game after a 2nd cycle of going back to traditional COD
Those changes are all very positive. Some remaining negatives are still keeping me from fully enjoying the game and I still don’t plan to buy this unless they are changed. The spawns are a massive issue. The distinction between enemies and teammates is also very frustrating. I can’t leave SBMM out but I have zero hope that will be addressed. If the other issues are fixed I might buy it in a few months on sale.

@DESTINYMASTER-zh4zf I'd argue there were a few stinker maps like MWII, but one thing that I can definitely agree on is how non-complex the maps are, particularly the city maps like Guijarro, Ahkdar Village just had too many goddamn windows/rooftops whereas Verdansk was more streamline/simplified.

I think mw3 movement is a good middleground. Not the crazy movement from mw19 that would alienate new/casual players (im sorry but movement gods n good players no matter how loud they are online are still a very small minority in cod and) while m2 went overboard in the opposite direction. Ive seen some players complaining its not as good as mw19 but again we are a minority within the playerbase, so Im ok with the middleground they chose for mw3 movement.
It feels and played like a games from 10 years ago. Floaty movement, weapons have no weight to them. Run around like a headless chicken and hope you have faster reactions than the next guy. A step backwards for me.
I’ll choose to pass also this year. I have the feeling to play mw2019 with all the bad things included like people always jumping when shooting , insane ttk, sbmm, ecc
I get where your coming from I personally don't like long ttks in games but we denfinetly don't need to be dying to weapons in a split second. That would be worse than the long ttk we have at the moment
the recoil is great in mw2. It's how the guns balance. If we tone down recoil on base guns, then things are going to be like Vanguard all over again. Because every gun becomes laser beams with the right attachments, you're really left to use the gun that deals the most damage. No variety, no personality, the guns all feel the same.
Personally im not much of a fan of the recoil from mw2022, even though I do like some of the changes. A big part of what made me love mw2022 was the huge shift in how recoil and the gunplay fundamentally works, with them moving away from the classic cod bullets going centre of screen etc. Its a shame that so few people even talk or know about it, and I don't know why there aren't any deep dives into the new recoil mechanics, especially with magnified optics and the small free aim area, weapons rising above centre of screen following the recoil pattern etc. It seems like mw2023 does work the same way, just that the weapons shoot very flat so it ends up looking a lot more like old school cod. Personally I like the idea of more recoil happening on the screen, and less camera kick recoil, because it really changes up how the game is played and makes it less about putting enemies in the middle of the screen, but aiming your gun at them. I think some of the high frequency shake/muzzle smoke etc. was a bit too much, and makes tracking hard, but I think aside from that, I much prefer tracking the weapon and enemy position, aside from tracking the whole world rotating as you fire.
I honestly agree for the most part except the shake and muzzle smoke. I prefered it because it made the gun feel more powerful and like a gun to me y'know? Dunno, I refunded mw3 2023 and I think imma just stick to insurgency sandstorm haha
@@Unboundiing Idk how you could prefer insurgency sandstorm lol, when you ADS in that game the only recoil is camera kick, optics/red dot/etc. just glued dead centre of screen, its basically like how battlefield/old cod did it, just looks awful.
Bruh, that was the reason i hated mw2. I loved in warzone 1 how you had so less recoil. The visual recoil was and is the worst in mw2 for me. And the movement is also not feeling as good as mw1.
@@Niels_f2704 how do you control recoil where every shot makes a different recoil? Like in wz1 it had a pattern you could Counter somehow. And you had not that extreme visual recoil. Yk what i mean? But maybe im a Professional noob who cant play that kind of games 😁
@@Semicolonos I think you get used to it and modify and tune your weapons to minimize the recoil to where its not as bad, i know the cronen squall gun has the least recoil from the beginning and its different per gun, I personally like the recoil in MW2 since it feels more natural and now playing mw3 its hard to adapt to basically no recoil at all (personally).
My first thought was that I'm not going to pay that much for a huge update. But since I know that they will bring back the old MWII maps... I'm not sure. But still, that full price is a daylight robbery.
As long as people like you continue to pay, the will continue to do this. Normally CoD is pretty copy / paste and they put little effort. This time they released copy/paste with 0 effort. The entire map pool is MW2. The game looks like MW2, worse than MW2019. All the good things they took out of MW2 that was in prior games is back. That's not a feature thats call not listening to your community, it didn't need MW3 to make these changes. This is by far the laziest yearly release charged at full premium price, and as long as people like you pay for it, they will continue to be even more lazy. This is at best a DLC priced as a full price game.
The guns in MWIII sound and handle like airsoft guns. I'd take the visual recoil and Infinity Wards audiovisual design over this every day of the week.
The problem is is that infinity ward kinda went overboard in mw2 with the bad weapon sway ,the terrible recoil control, and the bad movement. But looking at this game it's the complete opposite every gun is a lazerbeam and most of them handle like like an airsoft gun idk why they can't seem to find some middle ground it's always one or the other. I do like how they were able to bring back movement in a balanced way though
Thanks again for all this information, but it really sounds like I'm going to stick with MW2 instead of moving on to MW3 at this rate. I really prefer the slower movement and higher visual recoil in MW2, as I feel they make the game feel more realistic, so I'm disappointed to see these changes in MW3.

I'm guessing they toned down the kick that amount due to
1) they really turned up the kick in MW2 compared to MW2019, and I noticed players weren't too fond of that
2) compensate for the adjusted TTK so landing multiple shots on players would feel more consistent since you have to put more shots into them for a kill
It also helps keep things more balanced between controller and M&K players. Given that they are not reducing the effectiveness of the aim assist, so more casual players have more chances.

That’s why you play good battlefields like 1 and 4
Skill based match making is the main problem. You will notice no matter what you will never have back to back good games.

the recoil is great in mw2.

Bruh, that was the reason i hated mw2. I loved in warzone 1 how you had so less recoil. The visual recoil was and is the worst in mw2 for me. And the movement is also not feeling as good as mw1.
I agree, I actually like the recoil in mw2 especially since I modified my guns a certain way to manage the recoil. Just feels better to me.
just learn to control recoil tbh
@@Niels_f2704 how do you control recoil where every shot makes a different recoil? Like in wz1 it had a pattern you could Counter somehow. And you had not that extreme visual recoil. Yk what i mean? But maybe im a Professional noob who cant play that kind of games 😁
@@Semicolonos I think you get used to it and modify and tune your weapons to minimize the recoil to where its not as bad, i know the cronen squall gun has the least recoil from the beginning and its different per gun, I personally like the recoil in MW2 since it feels more natural and now playing mw3 its hard to adapt to basically no recoil at all (personally).
nothing will look better than cold war on series x
Facts
But yeah infinity ward is denfinetly the better studio here
Damm I hoped that they kept the visual recoil for MWII guns the same so you're get clapped by the new guns lmao.
Yellow filter added and slight changes in moving and woila-we presenting you new game!
I'm used to mw2 and with the upgrades sliding movement is fine I'll wait it out and stay mw2 too
why do you want an arcade shooter to feel realistic lol
@@Carter-t4q We have Treyarch/Sledgehammer for more arcade titles and Infinity Ward for more milsim titles, and now they have ruined the identity of the MW series. It doesn't play, look or sound like MW19 or MWII at all.
COD has always been an arcade shooter. Doesn't matter which studio was working on a release, but it has always been an arcade shooter. It's the exact reason it blew up b/c it was casual/arcade. People just cried for more of a milsim and it flopped. @@sonervisuals
@@sonervisualsmw19’s gameplay is not mil sim whatsoever
I actually prefer more recoil tbh
@samuraiman7777 yeah I prefer more realistic vs arcadey. No recoil is just boring to me because it's literally just point and click
I hate how the graphics are in mw3 though mw2 is so good and realistic
It seems like mw3 is what mw2 should have been but they’re charging 70 dollars for updates now folks
The change between both is that MWII was a full game while MW III is simply an update with a 6 hours campaign added to it.
It's nice to see they kept the same graphics from 2009 as well.
og MW2 maps were amazing to have these maps back and looking great I’m all in I played the beta to level 30 and that’s all I needed.
$70 for the same guns, same attachments, same UI, same sound effects, same killstreaks, same animations, recycled zombies calling it “New”.
The first 30 seconds had me like, "Wow, it's like they are the same fucking game! Wild"
If nobody bought this game. Mw4 would be epic
To think Mw19 came out 4 years ago really makes me feel old
As much as I hate that this is a full on "new" game, instead of an update.....I greatly....GREATLY appreciate that the map voting is back.
What I wanted to know is how much difference there is between the current one and the next one in terms of game performance.
Nothing special.
It is the same game so expect the same performance
can you change the sound settings back to MW2 or are you stuck with this atrocious sound design MW3 comes with?
