Yep, FMS made me a fanboy with the very first RC I've ever had from them. It's crazy how good they really are for such a small size. They are capable well beyond their "weight class".
I put thick grease in the diff to make it more capable for crawling and yet still great for bashing. And also the speed motor from fms really wake up this litte monster
I saw some results of the speed motor, it was impressive. I have a few more FMS models on the way and I think a speed motor upgrade is an order for at least one of them
In fairness to the slash, It really isn't made to crawl, most sensorless brushless systems are terrible for crawling course kind of stuff. That segment was more to just highlight how purpose built crawlers are for their intended use.
@@RcPlayer-tt2vwI love the whole Arrma 3s line. They might be the overall best for the money in the RC hobby. They're all fast, tough, easy to work on, easy to get parts for, reasonably priced. Just a grand slam in general.
I've just come from watching the latest Kevin Talbot video, I made it about a third of the way through & got sick of it... again.! I'd much rather be watching someone like yourself who truly appreciates what they have rather than just smashing it up, then throwing hundreds of pounds worth of aftermarket upgrades on then smashing it up again.! I used to think his channel was the best RC channel on RUclips but unfortunately he's changed... He's going after the low hanging fruit of smashing expensive toys up for kids who don't understand the value of things, they just enjoy seeing over the top carnage.! It's not a great message he's sending out to kids imo.! To me at least RC is about having fun & making the most out of what you have. Kev's channel is especially distasteful to me these days when the average person is really struggling to make ends meet. My aim is to have as much fun with my RCs while bringing them home in one piece. Thank you for your awesome, grounded in reality channel.! Wow what a nice comment. You really made my day. While I like Kevin Talbot, you do also make some valid points there. We are also rough on RC cars here, but we don't just smash them up for the sake of it. They do get smashed up from time to time, but usually in an effort to do something else. I don't take non bashers to skateparks, and when I do, it's strictly for a laugh and to show what the limits on a given RC are, but even then, we don't go to skateparks often. I love RC cars like you do. It's my goal with this channel to spread the hobby as much as I can and show how much fun the hobby can be. From budget to name brand, small to large, cheap to expensive, they all have something to offer and I hope to pass that on to others. I'm really happy you enjoy our content, we're still small, but Tado and I work hard to try to improve and make good videos. Thank you so much for watching them and commenting, it means a lot to us.
