The vintage look was cool in 2016 but now it’s a bit overdone tbh, I think that shoes look good with age but I don’t want the manufacturer to do it for me. I’m not complaining tho, I still want these.
the difference is that the aging on these makes sense especially for the story they are supposed to tell, which imo adds to the value, in contrast to some other shoes where they just age it for the sake of ‘hype’. Also the yellowing isnt overdone on these either, subtle.
i deadly love this shoes but i will hold to see if the quality is as good as its reputation, esp when you notice the "floating crack on wihte surface..." hopefully it's not "found and drop"

This is more than vintage for vintage sake. The cream sail look is just in the color typically. Here they aged the shoe, they cracked the leather, they cracked the ankle leather, they oxidized the outsole, they aged the box. Its beyond a color, its a concept. So this is very unique. Its reductionist to classify it as just another vintage pair. Those are sail pairs, this is actually aged like what a customiser (chefhuyle for example) would do. Come on man! You aint seen this before.
