- Restoring and customizing in one video to make the best sneaker release of 2022 even better! Today Vick Almighty cleans and repairs a Lost and Found Jordan 1 prior to turning it into a sample Black Toe Air Jordan 1.
These Jordan 1s were in rough shape to start, but since they are a must have sneaker we had to walk you through how to restore them. After a cleaning we noticed some scuffs and scratches; fixing scratches is easy, pick up some leather filler and follow the steps! After the scratch was filled Vick walks you through how to paint that classic Lost and Found red.
Once the restoration was done, in true Vick fashion, he thought of ways to make these even better. Although this custom was simple with a quick tongue swap, black paint on the toe cap and new laces, these sample inspired sneakers are top notch!

I mean all it needed was the scuff marks to get buffed out and a cleaning. I guess the client wanted a new paint job tho. It is what it is.

I just finished doing to same custom job, but I used a pair of AJ1 Gym Red (instead of L&F’s). Not gunna lie, I think mine turned out pretty good. I’ve been wanting to do this job for a while, so I am so stoked to finally have it completed.

I was wondering if you could do a restoration on a Kobe 11? I have like 15 different pairs, and a lot of them have little rips by the end of the swoosh. Any idea how to fix it?
I feel like the white cement 1’s would look good with a black toe makeover. The current model has a little too much cement print
Since the white infrared 7s came out, you should make a custom Air Jordan 7 infrared inspired by the infrared 6s.
Painting like that is not easy mad respect on that front

You can use Mink oil for leathers, suede and nubuck to condition the shoes.

I'm surprised Angelus didn't come out with a Jordan retro line of their colors where it's already pre mixed perfectly to the original color of the shoe. Instead of doing all this mixing and matching of colors .

Does anyone know what paint to use (or mix to match the “university red” color of the jordan 1 heritage?? I messed up mine and been trying to find a color match for weeks. does the cracked leather of lost and founds chip off?
If you pause the video at 13:59 you will see how the white cracked leather starts to chip off near the sole after they are worn a bunch.

@@RESHOEVN8R Jordan xiii in the wheat colorway from 2004. I wanted to restore it myself but I’m not as nice as Vic thoooo…. The shoe is older so the midsole and bottom are separated from the top and cleaned. I just never glued them or fixed the gash in the front.
