Bro they don’t need to watch RUclipsrs to make shoes better. They can get a real pair before it ever comes to the states. I think they purposely make it slightly off so they can keep selling different batches and keep saying they are better

I just sent a presumed fake pair back to GOAT. If I didn’t have my retail pair, I would’ve assumed they were legit. They were pretty damn close but for $400+, I wasn’t taking the chance.
Don’t think the box is smaller it’s cause u comparing to the lid which is bigger than the box so that it can fit over. Line up the bottoms of the box next time to compare the box size. Also not every single size comes in a different size box. It changes every few sizes. Like same box could be used for 9,9.5,10 or something

Some High tier one's have Ydm stickers that have ridges but not all...there are Reps made from different factories can produce some materials from retail but rarely can get it..
There's no way you'd be able to tell unless you have the real one next to it, and the reason some one may be going for a rep is they couldn't a real one in the first place. So these comparisons don't help much, buy the fake.
I had two retail pairs, so one and grabbed a rep to wear to death. From the naked eye, you can’t tell the difference honestly. The definitely have the AJ1 damn near 1 to 1 to the retail pair. My rep pair has a super strong glue smell to them. Congrats on 30K!

I don’t know if this goes for these or not but I can say I have multiple pair of the same shoe in different sizes and the boxes are the same size. I don’t think the box size changes until it gets to a full size larger. Again, don’t know if this is for every pair but I can 100% confirm this happens with some pair. So I don’t think that’s a good thing to check if you’re trying to legit check
I copped the AJ4 Midnight Navy in store at Champs and the AJ1 Taxi online from Footlocker and neither one came with the YDM sticker in the box. Did yours? Anyone reading this comment, let me know if yours were the same.
The main to keep in mind is the qc is all over the place on these. Made in different factory’s at different times. I’ve had some real sloppy pairs and some nice ones. But these are easy to legit check. May be 4 batches later will it be crazy close after watching everybody’s real vs fakes 😂
I ordered a pair from GOAT. They sent me fakes. Bare in mind I have two other L and F pairs to compare it to. The pair on the fakes ankle collar barely have cracks. Almost looks like normal collar without the cracks. The padding on the ankle collar was thicker then the regular pairs. Also on the collar the real pair had a bump on the rear. The collar on the fakes are straight edge. The stitching on the bottom swoosh were covered by the heel pad. Now I’m hesitant to even order from GOAT now.
Try to get an LJR batch, you'll see that those batches are a lot more closer. Also, manufacturing inconsistencies can occur to the retail version, but you know that... It is not much of a help (still a help don't get me wrong) but unless you compare multiple pairs of retail version with multiple LJR batch, you might find that LJR batch looks better than the retail. But thank you for the comparison though.

The only way to really do this is to have at least 2 pair of l&fs cause they are all different also I got real 11 and 11.5 they are many differences starting with the box of my 11.5 is slightly smaller then my 11 basically the fakes could match almost exactly a pair of real pair cause nike qc is very bad What's funny is they get the shoe almost perfect but the box and paper is pretty far off I always find that funny
