- A bit of different content during the Severn Valley Railwy Diesel Gala. Firstly we see a pair of double headed 20’s departing Kidderminster Town. Soon to be halted with the emergency hand signal to stop the train! Due to a door not being completely shut.
Secondly, Freightliners Class 59. Visiting locomotive 59206 is brought to a halt due to the Emergency break kicking in as the rear loco 37409 developed a DSD (Drivers Safety Device) fault on departure from Kidderminster.

I thought as much, looked that way and was on the move very sharpish afterwards. Great vigilance from the platform team
@@Rail125 Work as a TTI on the SVR and this some times happens especialy when some one decides to jump on late and either the platform staff or TTI some times notice this
@@peterwilliamallen1063 was a very efficient and smooth raise of the alarm and got the 20’s moving again in no time, excellent 👏🏼
@@Rail125 I can tell you that all staff on the SVR are highly trained and when a train departs not only are the platform staff watching the train depart watching for any doors that may not of been shut properly, plus the two TTI's and Guard watch from the train which makes for a very safe operation of departure and when some thing like this does happen the train gets stoped straight away making for a very safe operation indeed

Took a few attempts of getting the drivers attention can’t imagine it’s easy with a pair of 20’s ringing in your ears
