I just purchased the 2014 and enjoy driving this little thing. I use 87 gas as instructed by the dealer. I will be installing a back up camera soon and some new interior speakers. I'm also thinking of replacing the taillights, black lights on a black car look great.
Greetings from Northern CA, Sacramento to be exact. I have a 2013 FR-S and love it. People say it is underpowered, but it has enough power for me. And let's face it, with gas as high as it is, mpg is important also. Just wondering, the instruction book calls for premium, but says mid grade is fine. What do you use in yours?
Hi guyfihi, I bet the weather in Sacramento is pretty nice about now, here in Detroit it's hovering right around freezing. In our press vehicle we used premium, but for day-to-day driving, regular should be just fine.
oaklandcar Thanks Oakland, I figured the internal computers would adjust for gas grade.. For the past two weeks we have had upper 50ies lower 60ies. We could use some rain however. I know how it goes back East though, I grew up in Upstate New York. It's funny, I was watching our local team, the Forty Niners, play in Green Bay last weekend where it was -5 with -13 windchill. The Niner QB Kaepernick was playing in shirtsleeves and I was saying to myself, you big dummy, cover up those big old arms of yours-but they did win the game.

Those tail lights remind me of the previous generation Chevy Traverse.
