Don't rely on the safety feature. I accidentally actuated the livewire when I was cleaning the switch track. The blade went all the way in to my right pointer finger. Having said that, its a beautiful, well made, functional knife. I sold my ultratech the week before I got the livewire, don't miss the ultratech at all.
Definitely on my list!! With the auto laws dropping all over the country I’m excited to see what comes out in the next 3-5 years! Microtech already is getting some competition from axial and others and now kershaw. Love the channel👍
Just purchased the tanto kershaw livewire from blade HQ last week.... Was tracking the shipment and it was supposed to arrive last Friday before 9pm and was in VA, only 1.5hrs away from my home address in MD..... Once I got home from work and realized there was no package I checked the tracking and the friggen thing is litteraly in Las Vegas NV at a sorting facility..... I'm NEVER using USPS ever again....
How's it holding up? I'm on the fence on buying the knife in the double edge of a Cobratec Enforcer, only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on the Kershaw is a lot of people seemed to have spring snapping and failure to deployment not to mention blade play, how is it for you and what do you say?
I ended up selling mine shortly after this review to chase other knives so I unfortunately don’t have a lot of of experience with it long term! During my time with it though, I really enjoyed it & if I ever add an OTF to my collection again, it’ll probably be a Livewire!
I'm getting the Kershaw livewire9000 in Magnacut as soon as my paycheck arrives in about a week. I live in Commiefornia and this will be my 1st OTF! I can't wait to add it to my EDC. I'll be dammed if Commiefornia is gonna tell my what I can carry in my pockets! Can anybody recommend places that sell to California? It would be greatly appreciated! ✌️❤️
@@jason420jv1You will have a very hard time finding someone selling this in your communist state, let alone an online supplier that will send it to said state... Here in Maryland things aren't much better but on BLADEHQ when you go to purchase online if you meet one of the listed prerequisites then they'll send it to you.... Prerequisites are being law enforcement or military OR..... Militia of the state, which I believe is the second option to select.... This option is how I've been able to obtain automatics & OTF knives.

That's awesome! I'm always happy when I hear about Kershaw doing good things. Great review Alex 👍
This is definitely a step in the right direction for Kershaw! Thanks Jeremy! 👊🏻

That’s terrible man, it blows my mind usps does that
I wanna try this one. Axial shift prices went WAY UP!
It’s crazy how much they’ve increased their prices!

Dang well thank you for the help!
I thought the livewire only came in magna cut steel, first one i've seen in 20cv
When they first came out they were in 20cv, then they switched over and started using magnacut!
How much
These go for around $250!
Lightning?
I think when you factor in materials, fit & finish, action, and made in the USA this is a better OTF for the price versus the Lightning
@814edc Fair enough if you got a good enough job it would take me about 6 months currently to even get that much money lol
Look at the SOS OTF knife if you like the Lightning. It's only $99 and it's a massive upgrade to the Lightning.

SWEET BLADE !
Mega Cool OTF Knife
The logo is an in house design, it’s not a logo for auto.
Blue Creek Knives gone?
Yep it’s been gone for a couple months!
OOS everywhere
22min for a single knife review?
Thanks for noticing!
