I did hear it has a nice softer activation switch which is surely appreciated . I have one otf that is softer activation and it’s lovely . Extremely competitive pricing and kershaw warranty is a plus and USA product . This or the hogue one has been on the radar .
The USA Kershaws always offer an incredible bang for your buck and really cool looks. It’s cool to see that they continue to keep their USA line alive.
Having been an armor crewman, I hope it's built better than a tank. Those things would break down sitting in the motor pool. Our Bradley Fighting Vehicles were slightly better, depended on whether or not the crews kept the track trolls happy and well fed.
I picked up one of the show specials from Diskin. He had some with brown handles for a crazy good price and some more premium ones with handground damascus blades.
Hallo Christoph , ich habe es heute probiert , den Clip zu versetzen ; das gleiche Problem gehabt , erkannt und behoben mit einem Dremel ....grins , nach deinem Rezept . Bist echt Spitze ! Gruß Harald
I bought the Livewire as soon as it came out and other than the Deadlock it is in my opinion the best OTF out there you can open it and close it quite easily, great blade steel, it is tighter than my Microtechs and much easier to open and close and it has a great grind it has been in use since the day I got it. Street price was 240. It is a bargain for sure. Beware there is already a copy of it same box and almost the same superficially but for 40 dollars internally it is totally different. If the Livewire is where Kershaw is headed they are on the right track. It is also USA made.
I like the launch 16 but hate serrations and Kershaw/ZT does M4 at 60-62hrc which is really low for that steel (I wonder if thats before the coating since most coating processes lower the hardness even more) when you compare it to what the other makers are doing.
$380, these guys are absolutely tone-deaf to the market. WTF is that pricing, this is a $270-$300 knife at best, to compete with the ultratech - but I'd still rather have an ultratech because I trust Microtech to make an OTF.
Thanks for stopping by the booth! Love your videos, and we're glad you got to see the new products 👊
ZT fixed is sweet! Happy they have new stuff coming!
Yeah, I was ogling it through the whole video.

The activation switch is one of our favorite parts of the Livewire. Our team nailed the action!

You two are on the ball this year, putting out new videos 😊
Right on those are really nice new Jim from Kershaw knives. The M4 blade is really nice. Nothing like finger flippin a cleaver❤️
Dang, wish I was there. 😮Thanks for the footage!
🎶Islands in the aluminum, that is what they are…🎶
Thanks to the both of you for going to Blade and sharing vids.
Thanks for the video. Good to hear they have new things in the works for Zero Tolerance !
I like that ZT 0006. And Bird asking the questions we all want answers for, a plain edge on that Launch.

Launch 16 🔥😎👍👍
We're really proud of this one!

Glad you got to stop by Diskin's booth! The bronze aluminum Livewire was awesome.
@@KershawKnivesUSA I hope to see more show specials at future bladeshows. Really love to see them.
@@thenextarcher Thanks for your feedback! It's certainly possible.

Love those nails 😚
That auto looks good but it's out of my price range. Thanks for showing us ✌🏻
Just spend $50 and get the Smith and Wesson. Lol
It’s actually $150

We’re not fans of the serrations either
No glass breaker????
FINALLY!
I'll take it!
Kinda thought you would say deal breaker 😆😆
Had 2 Kershaw launches and the springs in both of them broke after minimal use. Would definitely avoid any of kershaws automatics
I got Kershaw autos no problems just send it back in fix it for free 😁
@@davidtate166 I did send them back and it was like $25. I dont know if that was just shipping or a repair fee as well.
@@DlxyRekt I sent a auto back to Kershaw they fix it.yes
😀😀
the ZT fixed blade is gorg
Ooo
How is the weight of the switch (pressure required) compared to the ultratech?
Lower tension, throw seems to be slightly longer.
Yep 👍
Cowabunga.!
"Are you actually Jim". Really? Jimmer is a legend.
It was a joke, everyone is wearing different badges it seems 😀
Heeeeeey!!!

$200 for a launch. Use to like them but they are turning into ZT prices.
Nah I just got the new one for $150, It’s great. Would be better in a Plain edge tho
Disappointed in the price I was hoping for quality on a budget for OTF

Those were not retail prices. The live wire is on pre order at bladehq for 240 -Frankie
OTFs are that price range.
That ZT isn’t great.
Other than the OTF... 😒
260 is not competitive it’s overpriced for a gimmick knife
