    Hey thanks for checking it out and the feedback. Infinity loves moisture as it contains a moisture cured amino in the formula, directions have been updated to use with a damp microfiber towel. It was originally designed to be used as a drying aid so makes sense right. It’s also full concentrated so you can dilute it for multiple uses, straight is basically a water based can coat type of product, 1-1-1:3 is a great drying aid to topper type product. Sorry about the Canadian website not having the updated description we will update asap! Appreciate the feedback 💯

    In the time it took you to apply and buff you could have applied a traditional ceramic coating, had it flash and leveled it. Ceramic sealants should be easy and fast to apply that’s why they are spray form. Not sure why they sacrificed ease of application for chemical resistance. Without any longevity claims and difficult application not sure why anyone would favor this over the plethora of other products on the market. Thanks for the review.

      Eddie does knock it literally every podcast lol it’s my product (Jamie) it was originally suppose to only be used as a drying aid it really likes moisture, as it has a moisture cured amino in its formula. I wanted a concentrated sealant that professionals can dilute to their needs. Detail Co. is designed to be the backbone of our Business program where business owners don’t buy watered down products.

    Great review Brian. It's stout for sure. I believe Jamie is updating the label to include the damp towel wipe. I'm sure there are a ton of labels to go through.

    Great unbiased review, enjoyed your thorough feedback.
    I’m in Fl and mostly use Adam’s Graphene ceramic spray advanced. It’s states up to 18 months but I would vouch it gives up to 6 months , sometimes longer. I can pick up a 16 oz bottle for about $37 ( sale price)
    I don’t see any reviews bc it’s not a “newer” product. Do you have any experience with it?

    • @sheepstardetail
      @sheepstardetail  5 дней назад +1

      I have the previous version, but the trigger failed and the products sort of.. gushed out of the bottle just sitting on the shelf.
      I’ll grab the advanced eventually, it’s over $60 Canadian though.

    WOW... great video! I was mostly interested in seeing how you would show a level of difference for how a product fills / jetting / gloss... I think you captured it perfectly. I'm finding myself questioning if a long term ceramic coating can truly give a wet look or if it is better to simply use it as a base then build on that with something that fills and enhances gloss. With overthinking, my hypothesis is that a ceramic might smooth over the imperfections and the filler / gloss enhancer could no longer work as intended. This debate probably goes back to the wax versus sealant camps back in the 90's. I'm feeling like a deer in the headlights when it comes to selecting what to try next on my own car.

    Thank you for this. A lot of detail which gives us, the viewer, the ability to weight the score according to our own preferences. Personally, ease of application is key. I simply wouldn't reach for this when I have others (3d Bead it up, Garage Therapy Sigma v3 to name 2) that I'd pick up instead. Then slickness. I really enjoy grabbing the door handle and slipping off it and nearly falling over. Let's me know something is there.
    Looks durable though. Trade offs and compromises I guess.
    Thanks again

    Great Video Brian! I enjoy your channel. I use a lot of the Detail Co Line of products for our business and even personal use. Several factors for me is. first the quality on all their products have been fantastic for our use . The cost is really good on the Detail Co line, especially if you also figure in dilution of all the product line. It gets even better with a business account and you spend over $125 and get free shipping. We also use the gallons.
    Infinity ceramic sealant is seriously Stout. In fact its one of those that if you don't use it right you will get streaking like none other or a crazy work out as you found out. but its been very durable and works well. I RECOMMEND THIS.... To help reduce streak potential and making installation being such a work out.. Ive found If you use it strait out of the bottle, be sure to apply it with a microfiber cloth that's been made slightly damp with distilled water, spray it on the damp cloth then apply. Followed with wipe off with a dry microfiber and buff. Strait application is really durable and has been working on cars we applied it to 4 months ago in Colorado with winter nasty stuff. Its been actually quite impressive. Diluted 1:1 the application is really easy and nice but durability is probably a couple months. Ive even used it as a spray on rinse off on non coated cars and it works great for usually about a month plus.
    This has been my experiences with the product. depending how applied and dilution its very good at chemical resistance and durable. gives good depth and shine. While not the slickest, its function for us is protection, optics and help with ease of cleaning when they bring the vehicles back. BUT that's my/our experiences in our daily use on customer vehicles and personal. --- Conway

      Thanks for the heads up Conway!
      It all speaks to the lack of information on the label. I’ve used damp cloths for Nufinish, as it’s recommended on the label. This one doesn’t say much of anything. I knew from watching other content not to spray on the panel, but damp cloths have the potential to reduce durability (by how much is unknown).
      It’s not a bad product by any means, and the value for the gallon is great, but the dry application is quite hard.

    • @CSautotechDetailing
      @CSautotechDetailing 7 дней назад +1

      @@sheepstardetail I will agree with you on the missing info and the label being hard to read. Things like DO NOT use on single stage paint, things like Do NOT spray directly on the panel and some other great info would be appreciated. The print colors and size of print makes it hard for an old guy like me to read lol. Ive had some convos with them as Ive seen it suggested by others online. I'm pretty confident they will address it. When im not sure. And not to make excuses but I know they have had a lot on their plate with creating Detail Co, Developing and making that product, creating their own towel line, creating a Mass distribution business for brands that are made all over the world and getting those products brought into places, then expanding into multiple countries such as Canada, England Porta Rico, Australia, Japan and others with all of it., having being floored with the amount of business they have and the growing pains of doing it all. The info and labels may have been a bit rushed to get it out there. Something I keep in my thoughts anyhow.
      BTW I have not seen reduced durability with the damp application. We started applying it to customer cars that we see regularly that still have good results with it now past the 4 month mark on some vehicles. Of course that's subjective to vehicle use and storage. My wifes vehicle has some on it. outside 24/7 in Colorado, Mag chloride etc.. Still working good at 2.5 months so far.

      @@sheepstardetail For everything they have on their plate and how well they are doing it . I give them credit. Plenty of manufactures that fix issues as they go in the world of products. No matter what it is. Cars get TSB and recall issues as well as Software updates, Computer software gets bug fixes and updates/patches, same with Smart phones. Lots of chemical manufactures with revisions in the 2 3 4 versions. And so on...

    • @sheepstardetail
      @sheepstardetail  7 дней назад +1

      @ yeah, but car’s are being rushed out for model year end. This literally didn’t need to launch when it did. It wasn’t even public until it launched, so it wasn’t like there was massive built up tension that needed to be released.
      Overall, label update should be a priority, even the website isn’t fleshed out.

    My criteria for products in order of priority are: 1. Performance (hydrophobics, longevity, appearance/gloss); 2. Ease of application; 3. Cost.
    The performance would have to be far better than a comparable product that is much easier to apply in order for me to buy it. I also won't order detailing products from the US, while price is only a tertiary concern for me I don't like to throw money away for shipping costs. My preferred place for purchasing is Carzilla and I always place orders large enough to qualify for free shipping, it's highly unlikely that I would deviate from that unless a product was vastly superior to everything else currently available on the market.
