Porsche 996 Motor Install

One of our customers that owns several Porsche has a 996 C4 that has been in the shop a few times. This time it's here to have the freshly rebuild motor reinstalled. Brandon along with special guest Matt, will get this motor back in the car and back on the road.

I've only worked on 2 Porsche cars - one was a late 1950's model that was basically a Beetle's running gear and a Porsche convertible body, it had drum brakes but it did have twin carb's. It was like working on a Beetle but with less room! Cheap to work on.
The other was a 928 which was an absolute nightmare - it was as if each car had been hand built but using different drawings and the electrical system was truly awful! Very expensive to work on!
That Porsche that you are working with looks like a dream! 😊

I do wish that you had pressured washed the complete engine bay and underside of the car ,just makes it so much cleaner and more professional looking.that’s just my opinion.just keep it up.😎😎👍👍

Nice work.
Back in the days of drafting and design I hired a machine shop
to do builds in fixtures and tooling.
The owner of the machine shop had a cherry Porsche 928, always refining it.
Any excuse to drop by and see what was new.

Stock specs. We talked about doing extra but he’s more of a just fun track day guy. Plus this is his beater 911 😂

The power steering line gets bolted on behind the ps pulley.
