I agree with your comments about the Mini. I thought it was a steal when they lowered it to $250, so I couldn't resist getting another one for just $200. I love my P1S, but there is just something about printing to the Mini that is so much fun.

Perfect quick overview. By this stage I'd already watched a tonne of reviews and I bought a P1S for myself, and going to buy an A1 for Dad to keep him engaged and actively making stuff.
Careful. I got the Mrs. an A1 and now she has two and a mini on the way and I can't find our kitchen bar for all the 3d-printed items on it. She also has four of the Amazon print spool racks that hold 21 spools each. Four. Because 63 spools storage was not enough.

If I hadn't snagged a Creality K2 Plus at 40% off I would have gotten a P1S. Although the extra features of the X1C where ground breaking a lot of print shop bough a fleet of P1S/P1P's and they have proven to be just as good without the extra features.
For most people staring out a A1 Mini and the A1 have been sooooo good.

Yeaaaaa, Stepper motors has coils in it. And it's a lot and very well organized in a pattern or steps. It looks a bit like brushless motors interior, when programmed correctly, the electromagnetic waves that is being switched rapidly, causing the motors to move in steps, that steps produces vibrations create audible sound waves.
So when being programmed correctly, you can actually produce a nice song to it and make that stepper motor sang a song you like. You can convert MIDI Files to c++ code that can be used to control the stepper motor with a microcontroller. For an example, Bambu lab A1 series printers implement ESP32-S3
I am hoping they release a unit like the X1C but with a larger build volume. A 350mm² x 400 would, to me, be the perfect size. Top that with an AMS (and thinking on the dimensions, might get room for an additional spool ?!?!?) I would be all in no question. Any possibility Bambu if you're reading this? 😁
They already announced they are working on a bigger one. Should be out this year

@@LoyalMoses 3 of the 4 or 5 packages have been sent & I have 3 tracking numbers but there is not tracking yet. So the p1s combo was sent and the extra ams and the filament swatches by themselves. I can’t wait!! 🤩

@@LoyalMoses Went on a hike with Dustin yesterday and we where talking about you. He said you really helped get him started and the help he needed. It just reminded me of how you help me out 20+ years ago and got me started with modems and BBS''s and the likes. Ahh great times.

My p1s combo arrived yesterday. But still not so Sure if it was the right choice. Had the a1 Mini without the ams before. Atm i mainly print pla. So i was thinkin of the p1p for a long time. But the price of the sale was just too good and sadly bambu does not offer a p1p combo... 😢

@@LoyalMoses just thinkin about the Touch screen Upgrade. Thats probably one of the biggest downsides compared to the x1c
Definitely use the features in Bambu Studio too, and there are aftermarket screens that just drop in!

I wanted to know your opinion, we are beginning a startup project and we need a 3d printer, we want to take a bambu lab but we don't know which one choose, even with your video, we need to look to print gears etc, do you have any opinion about it ?
I would recommend you buy the largest one for your budget, the A1 mini is an amazing machine at a low entry level price, while the A1 and P1S are awesome machines, one just being enclosed for more advanced materials.
There is a 150€ cut on the P1S atm in Europe

@@UnCoolDad I heard its only one bigger sized printer and its top end priced, likely more expensive than the X1C.
@@3DModelsToys what they have said is that of the next generation of printers, the first release will be an XL sized printer. Undoubtedly it will be more expensive, but I'm sure this next gen printer line will have similarly priced equivalents of what they sell currently. X2C, P2S, A2, etc.
Good evening, I am a dental technologist and I am looking for a 3D printer to print dental casts. NO resin! Is there a budget FDM printer (up to €600) that has acceptable quality? If there is a possibility to print my .stl file with different FDM printers (for a fee it would be ideal to choose the right printer).
What's the point in getting the X1C when you can get the P1S with the combo? The LIDAR is known to occasionally mess up your prints. The harden gears can be bought for the P1S, and you can get the nozzle. Like the only difference i see is the screen which to that I say... PandaTouch
You just gave all the reasons. A lot of folks want the best and aren’t going to tinker.

Another great video. I’m looking to buy my 1st printer and with all the content out there it really makes one’s head spin. Is it possible to put the A1 in an enclosure to print the other filament types?
You can to keep drafts out, but they recommend against it because the electronics may overheat.
