A couple of things: First, there is an option called "flushing volumes" in Bambu Studio and Orca where you can lessen the waste. You can also print the waste to an STL if you want to add an extra item on the plate that you don't care about the colors of (I print the waste to screw driver bit holders). You can also print the waste to the infill of the objects you're printing. There are also more efficient nozzle profiles and updates coming from Bambu to reduce waste. You'll never get rid of all of it, but you can greatly reduce it. It's also important to note that the waste is the same if you print 1 item or 10 of the same item. My favorite advantage of the AMS is that when printing PLA you can use PETG as your interface layer between the supports and the item you're printing so there is very little waste and the support basically just fall off.

Man, I am SO tempted to take a leap and buy this printer. I currently have the Sovol SV01pro and have had it for about two years now. I spend more time trying to fix it because something went wrong rather than printing and because of this, I've lost almost all desire to print.
I personally really like it. I haven’t had any issues, I have most of my printers in my shop and this one lives in my house and it’s super quiet. I can be upstairs and send files to it and just go grab the part in a few hours.
@@TwoMooseDesign I love that! I do all of my printing downstairs and with a toddler, it's hard to go downstairs and start a print without him trying to follow me, let alone go down every thirty minutes to check to see if it is still printing! :) I just want to be able to print little toys for him, not worry about why my print keeps failing when it just printed fine an hour ago.
I got an elegoo neptune 4 for 189 (still on sale). Is open source, and has clipper. Similar specs to the A1 aside from the AMS. Way more fun IMO. I added webcam for free (found old webcam and printed a mount). Really easy to get dialed in and was great right out of the box
Multicolor printing is the only reason I can buy it cause I have Creality K1 and for me is amazing I really love fast printing more then everything, but the A1or A1 mini is the only one you can have the experience to print multicolor at the best price and that is amazing and I know all product of bambú lab are great product!!
If the power goes out or one of the pieces gets ruined in a batch, from the phone app you can cancel only that piece and continue with the others. At 7:12 for example, if one piece came off the base but the other didn't, you can cancel the one that came off and continue the other to minimize the loss of material and time.
Bought an a1 mini last week and I love it over my ender 3. So I bought the x1c and another mini. Better to have it (x1c) and not need it than not have it and need it.
@@joeking433 It’s not $1,000 more, it’s $1,000 overall. About $6-700 more than an A1. X1C is enclosed, and can print many filament that the A1 cannot handle. To me, this is not worth it, I mostly print for wargaming, but that is where the price premium comes from.
Great shear. TY So this cant be used to make a custom back panel on a Tablet or phone ? Only for decretive stuff. Any one have a suggestion like DIY build one or the cheapest one that can be used to make more than decretive stuff.
Thanks! Yes it does, I personally don’t use it as I don’t have problems with supports. It’s just an extra step I don’t need. But some people definitely like it!
I think I heard awhile back that you can "technically" install open source firmware onto bambu printers, you just lose the ease of access that the stock firmware has. I think bambu even had a statement on it saying that you can do it, but they just don't recommend it. Not sure where I saw all this though.
I love my A1. It was the first printer I ever got besides my resin one and it’s so fun so much so I decided to buy the A1 mini so I can print multicolor stuff and then print bigger stuff on the A1.
I just bought an A1 combo. Waiting for it to be shipped in. I've been interested in 3D printing for a long time. Very excited to get into it, and I love that the part that kept me from getting it involved before is no longer relevant. The bed leveling.
Awesome! I'm here after I watched the "Jared Owen Animations" blender 3d modeler breakdown of the Bambu A1 on youtube. Cool to see the physical product now that I saw how it works lol
Was it just me or when going over the multi-color printing you had the X1C selected in the slicer?.. The AMS Lite changes colors slightly faster due to not retracting the filament as far like the AMS. Also like others stated, due to defaulted flush volumes the amount of waste will differ per user if actually calibrated which essentially brings down the waste to nickel amounts (depending on colors)
I am just seeing this video and I am new to this but want to start a Etsy store and sell 3D printed samurai masks, DC comic masks, and other odds and ends would you recommend the P1S or the A1. I noticed the P1S is enclosed and would think making a mask would be difficult but like I said this all would be new to me.
This video was a big help to me :-) I think the idea of the multi print is cool but is a pain also I enjoy painting stuff I make. I resin print myself but looking to get something like this for making bigger stuff for around the house and you know masks helmets etc..
Does the camera come with this printer or is this an add-on? Does that mean that if there is a part that needs to be fixed you have to send it into them or you can order the part and put it on yourself?
I was waiting for you to talk about bedsize and what kind of giant objects you could make with it like a basketball you mentioned the bed right at the last second but then ended the video Other than that great video thank you
About that one element loose after missing power. You can skip objects using phone app (so other on plate can finish). Usefoul when there is something wrong with one on plate (multicolor = print many to reduce cost of purge).
Awesome review! I just bought a Creality Ender 3 v3 KE, and someone just told me I should turn it in and replace it with a Bambu A1 Combo. I'm new and basically want to print small ideas (prototypes for small gadgets I design, tiny toys, nothing really for mass production or anything, etc.). I'm new but pretty technical (senior engineer, etc.), so I don't mind learning curves.
@@rodrigoalister9593 nonsense. My 3yo Ender 3 v2 has required precisely zero maintenance after setting it up. 99/100 prints are spot-on. Other than manual bed levelling (not rocket science) and being far slower, the quality is great. I wonder if people continually slamming Creality have even owned one (I doubt it).
@@cpopefly I have 2 printers here, not a bambu, and just simple pieces are printing without no surprises. Like spent 3 days in the piece and fail in the last minute.
PETG would be better for your car. No doubt its gonna heat up and possibly warp, but the UV resistant properties of PETG as well as the heat resistance would be a more logical choice. About the AMS waste, You can drastically cut down waste by playing with the flushing volumes. The default 1.0 is waaay too much. Upon my month of usage, I have found a range of 0.30 - 0.50 is the "butterzone" dependent on color pallatte. There is also another method bambu is working on for a firmware update, it will soon retract some of the filament before cutting and starting the purging thus wasting even less. Another way to help make it not as wasteful is to print several models in the same print. A prime canidate for that would be the pikachu. Something you should have also done for the new users watching this video (good job btw!) was to enable the dynamic flow calibration. It truly does a great job. Will be good for the user who just wants to print without doing manual calibrations.
I said that pla would be good for everything except outside or in the car. Maybe I just said it weird lol thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely have to play with those settings! I knew you could reduce it and definitely seemed excessive at stock. Thanks for the tips and thanks for watching i appreciate it 😁

From what I know, it's a great option, and I'm getting the combo right now, which allows multicolor prints, if your interested, they have a black friday sale right now ^^
Hey! Fingers crossed that you actually read your comments. I started 3D printing a few months ago and have already purchased 3 P1S combos. I have the 3 of them running 24/7 and am already looking at a forth. I'm realizing that I can handle most of my intricate prints with my P1S's and was beginning to think that an A1 with no AMS would be amazing to increase my productivity when it comes to small single color prints with PLA like articulating toys, etc. Do you think I should just snag an A1 for $299 instead of opting towards a forth P1S?
Pikachu is kind of a benchie for multicolor/multifilament, but it raises the question of how waste volume could change with a different orientation of the model or SAR(some assembly required) and printing with an eye towards less waste by printing colors separately without the AMS.
I sleep next to my A1 mini, it's not bad at all, even when printing actively. Though I would not recommend using higher print speeds when sleeping (sport or ludicrous mode)
Congratulations for the videos you make. I currently have an Anycubic Chiron and I'm considering purchasing the Bambulab A1 combo or the Flashforge 5m. What do you recommend? Thanks
I would think the best that you can buy in the market right now that doesn't give you so much waste would be the prusa XL cuz it doesn't have to purge as it has separate hot ends for every color the A1 or any of the bambu series that poop out all of the purged filament the AMS units are more for the convenience of not having to constantly change out your roles. You can still do multicolor prints at least in a pinch if you need to but if you're looking to maximize on Less waste I would still go with the XL
@@guineapigboy4551 true, this is the biggest issue with the Prusa line now is the cost. but if you look into the specs of that machine, there is more to it then the hot ends, but for someone printing just for a hobby and not often the price is pretty high. I have a business on the side and at some point it will make sense for me to buy
I just bought the A1 mini with ams lite and I really like most of it. The camera though... it feels almost like a camera designed to spy on you rather than show you a cool print time-lapse. 4:57 just look at how much of this guy's garage is visible and how off frame the printed object is! I think I'm going to build a clear case for my printer so that the camera will only see reflections of the printer most of the times.
Speaking of spying, The camera streams over the internet via bambu 'cloud' servers. No peer to peer on the LAN. Pretty much the same mechanism as how you send jobs to the printer. I don't know where their servers are but I have a good guess where. Make of that what you will.
Mines typically facing a wall so it doesn’t bother me, there’s cameras in my shop, on my phone, on my computer. If someone a gonna hack me 🤷🏼♂️ not a whole lot I can do about it. Not like they will see much but me woodworking and 3d printing in my shop lol my printer also has a little door you can put over the camera
I heard you mention the Creality K1. If someone isn't worried about having the option to ever do AMS do you prefer the enclosed or is a bed slinger just fine?
I may have missed it but what are the advantages to getting an enclosed printer? I’m looking for my first one and I don’t want to get a “starter “ for $300 just to realize I need a more advanced one that’s enclosed.
I’m looking into getting one. I have a few printers that are always giving me problems. Mostly the bed leveling is my headache of all. But at times I keep losing alignment and I do like the power on resume feature. Might be worth looking into. The cost is what hurts me the most.
The accessory bundle gives you a new hot end but the printer should come with an extra. You also get an extra build plate which is nice but not really needed. It’s basically spare parts on a minimal level. Build plates have different uses, for example a smooth sheet will leave a smooth bottom and the plate that comes with it leaves a textured bottom on the print.
Those look like the 150% Pikachu model, but I was able to do a full bed of the 100% models yesterday on the X1C at .16 optimal, variable layer height, w/stock .4 nozzle in like 11 hrs and barely added any waste over a single model!
@@TwoMooseDesignand orientation is key, lots of things have colors mainly on one side, make that the top and I have cut times and changes by a ton. One was 54 hrs to 15.
The Darkmoon ICE plate will take care of that resuming issue. You don't even need to heat the bed with it. If you haven't seen that build plate, then you need to.
I’ve never had or used a 3d printer, I’ve been thinking of getting a a1 or a ender 3 v3 SE. I’ve looked into the a1 mini but I don’t like how small the base is. Are there any other printers I should consider?
You should be able to pause all modern printers. I personally would buy the regular A1 without the AMS unless you have the budget. You can always add it later
Do feel like there's a benefit with the q1 pro's coreXY configuration vs the A1's bed slinger even just for PLA and PETG printing?. The A1 without AMS lite is about $90 cheaper than the Q1 pro where i live, but with AMS lite its $150 more than the Q1 Pro. Weighing up which is best is tricky given the Q1 is technically more capable in terms of filament types and the Corexy is a "better" configuration.
Not as of now for an affordable set up, I have seen people put the waste inside other prints. You can also make multiple prints at once so there is less waste. The printer is great and easy to use’s unfortunately without spending alot of money there’s not much we can do to reduce or recycle the waste.
Prusa is the only printer with multiple heads that I’m aware of that eliminates waste but it’s very expensive. You can look up ways to reduce the waste of the Bambu in the settings you can definitely cut it down a bit
@@TwoMooseDesignI saw a RUclips video where someone used the waste inside of a cast, I think he had melted it and then poured it in. And it made a beautiful skull. It was multicolor of course, but it looked really nice how it came out. Just an idea instead of just throwing away the waste.
cool vid, got a question? Why are all the cameras on 3d printers so bad? In this day and age, a decent camera is not expensive so it makes no sense unless I'm missing something?
It's all down to personal preference not a fan of apple but they make a quality product for sure ! bambu a1 is an awesome machine for the money Always gonna be waste from colour printing unless you spend a load
I can sleep when my A1 mini is going, in my room. That being said, I did set up five alarm clocks, once, then when they went of, I somehow only woke up when they stopped ringing in witch I fell asleep again, forgetting I had set them up, until they went off again, then I got up.
@Two Moose Design is it possible to order Bambu A1 without the AMS unit at first and then later on order the AMS unit install it without perhaps having to order a new Hot End to be able to feed the four filaments ? Thank you for your review and your time, happy printing.
You’re welcome! PLA might be fine for something like that? Depends how much abuse it will get. I actually think I saw a video on making key chains the other day 🤔
I don’t know what those numbers are but I use the thick 90% of the time. Medium is a little watery for 3d parts and gel is almost too thick for me. Bonds great though!
@@TwoMooseDesign Ok thanks. I tried to read the bottle from the screen and I thought it said "Medium" so I ordered 2 - 4oz bottles from Ebay. I will hunt down some thick too so I should be all set. Titebond 6222 Instant Bond CA glue thick 4 oz.
So you are telling me that for each layer of different color it will switch color and then if another color is in the way it will change and flush color again?
Not sure if I ready that right but it will fill all the color on one layer, purge, fill the remaining color, start the next layer, purge, and then continue to the next color. It fills in colors by layer
Maybe You should make a video about Bambu Lab (and sister companies) patents. You'll see what they have patented... Bambu Lab problem is their close intellectual property aptitude. A patent owner will not allow someone else to have a derivate patent since will close that owner free development of their i.p.. With open source they instead have no problems in including that new design in their own products.
I'm a pure android user but I'd venture to apple for this 😂. Marcelo Miguel Bazan.
Thanks for watching! It’s a great printer
Hahah heck yeah!
What makes the X1C worth a thousand dollars more than the A1? I don’t get it. My A1 puts out perfect prints continuously.
@@user-asa187print quality is higher slightly at even higher speed, about 10-20%
I’m totally going to try printing those crocs
Doooo it!!! My feet were too big to print them on the A1 I had to make them for my wife 😆😆 I’ll try again on one of my bigger machines
Thanks for the great info Jeff.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it
Great shear. TY
So this cant be used to make a custom back panel on a Tablet or phone ? Only for decretive stuff.
Any one have a suggestion like DIY build one or the cheapest one that can be used to make more than decretive stuff.
14:40 you have a man bun. We knew you'd also have a MacBook😉😁. Great vid. Thanks!
Great video. 😊 Thank you for making it.
Does it support the use of Dissolvable filament ?
What are you thoughts on this ? 😊 Thanks !!!
Thanks! Yes it does, I personally don’t use it as I don’t have problems with supports. It’s just an extra step I don’t need. But some people definitely like it!
I just got one and It works really well, with it being closed source I'm worried for when they force some BS but so far so good....
I think I heard awhile back that you can "technically" install open source firmware onto bambu printers, you just lose the ease of access that the stock firmware has. I think bambu even had a statement on it saying that you can do it, but they just don't recommend it. Not sure where I saw all this though.
So just curious on the slippage for the sunlu red, could you put a better spring in the AMS filament funnel? Or would making that too tight be bad?
I love my A1. It was the first printer I ever got besides my resin one and it’s so fun so much so I decided to buy the A1 mini so I can print multicolor stuff and then print bigger stuff on the A1.
Can I ask if you see any difference in the print quality between the A1 and the A1 mini?
You’re lucky it was your first. Most older 3DP guys went through nightmares in comparison.
I'm about 2 weeks away from buying one. I hope I am making the right decision. It's my first 3D printer.
It’s a great first 3d printer! There’s also facebook groups for Bambu users as well that can give you tips
It’s a no brainer. Get the A1 not the X1C.
I just bought an A1 combo. Waiting for it to be shipped in. I've been interested in 3D printing for a long time. Very excited to get into it, and I love that the part that kept me from getting it involved before is no longer relevant. The bed leveling.
Could you please do a Head to Head with Ender 3 S1 Pro. Single color only, using a dual compatible Slicer or a hacked A1 with Prusa Slice…
Awesome! I'm here after I watched the "Jared Owen Animations" blender 3d modeler breakdown of the Bambu A1 on youtube. Cool to see the physical product now that I saw how it works lol
Even as a tinkerer and techie, there's only so much teching and tinkering I wanna do, A1 it is.
thank you. informative and to the point. i have a neptune 4 , but i still want this.
Thanks for watching!
I also have the A1 and a Neptune 4 Pro. The Neptune has been put back in the box, I love the A1, can’t fault It.
Hows your Laguna equipment? I see these guys at some of the trade shows I'm at. They got some decent stuff I've seen.
Does the camera come with this printer or is this an add-on?
Hi. Can provide link for the spool adapter?
I am just seeing this video and I am new to this but want to start a Etsy store and sell 3D printed samurai masks, DC comic masks, and other odds and ends would you recommend the P1S or the A1. I noticed the P1S is enclosed and would think making a mask would be difficult but like I said this all would be new to me.
i love that monster on the filament poops
This video was a big help to me :-) I think the idea of the multi print is cool but is a pain also I enjoy painting stuff I make. I resin print myself but looking to get something like this for making bigger stuff for around the house and you know masks helmets etc..
Thanks for watching!
dude where did you get the really cute purple poop catcher can i have the link to the file
Does the camera come with this printer or is this an add-on?
Does that mean that if there is a part that needs to be fixed you have to send it into them or you can order the part and put it on yourself?
What about heater boxes for humidity
I was waiting for you to talk about bedsize and what kind of giant objects you could make with it like a basketball you mentioned the bed right at the last second but then ended the video Other than that great video thank you
About that one element loose after missing power. You can skip objects using phone app (so other on plate can finish). Usefoul when there is something wrong with one on plate (multicolor = print many to reduce cost of purge).
Ahhhhhh thanks! I didn’t see that option on the display to skip objects. I can on on my other printers, didn’t think to check the app
I'm new but pretty technical (senior engineer, etc.), so I don't mind learning curves.
it is not the only problem... you will forever doing at least 1 hour of maintenance per day with other printers.
It’s a no brainer. A1.
Where can i find the Cookie Monster Bin?
Thanks for the tips and thanks for watching i appreciate it 😁
@@TwoMooseDesign Maybe I am just getting a bit deaf or possibly dementia may be setting in! I appreciate you making the video! Keep it up bud. PS Love the poopie monster!
No worries at all. And thanks I appreciate you watching and commenting. And same they cracked me up, unfortunately they are both too tall! I’ll use the big one as a candy dish for Halloween hahah
PETG is not very well for car too = ) For car ABS is needed.
@@enosunim Very true.... However the A1's cant print ABS or ASA
So basically a real solid option, especially if you're not doing multi-colored printing?
Could I just hang a huge spool of a single color above it and have it just go forever?
can we print the other materials if we put the A1 inside a tent? Like a hydroponic tent?
As long as it holds the heat in I think it would be fine? Honestly I’ve never tried it
Pikachu is kind of a benchie for multicolor/multifilament, but it raises the question of how waste volume could change with a different orientation of the model or SAR(some assembly required) and printing with an eye towards less waste by printing colors separately without the AMS.
Ohhh now I’m curious 😆 I don’t have a ton of multi color experience. I’ll have to do some experimenting
Is it ok to print pla indoors in your home? Or does it produce nasty byproduct fumes?
Where did you get the file for the Cookie Monster support holder?
Could you adjust the tension on the AMS feeders when you are going to use Low Spec filaments?
How fast is it compared to an Ender 3? I'm still using the original Ender 3. I've upgraded it's motherboard, but that didn't really make it faster.
The XL is like 3k though. If you are printing not too many prints and you change the right settings, it will be cheaper to just get the a1
@@guineapigboy4551 true, this is the biggest issue with the Prusa line now is the cost. but if you look into the specs of that machine, there is more to it then the hot ends, but for someone printing just for a hobby and not often the price is pretty high. I have a business on the side and at some point it will make sense for me to buy
What program are you using to print?
Bambu slicer and I use orca for my other printers
Thank you!
great review. I just had one question, if i am only printing one color, do i need the AMS option. i have no desire to print multi color.
no you dont, you can always add it later. Save the money and decide later on what you want.
I cannot seem to find the file for the Purple monster that you use to hold the waste. Is it still available?
I have 3 giant garbage bags full of that flush. You can set the amount to flush. You can even have it do none, and do the color changes in the infill.
And stop trying to put all of the support and towers in the same category.
The open air AMS wsa a little worrisome for me here in Dallas Texas. When the recall happened I upgraded to the X1C.
What was the recall about?
@@msas6020 The power cord to the bed, some had a short in it and potential fire hazard. Somethings I miss about the A1 still though.
With a 3 Color AMS print could you put in a Purge only as a 4th Spool?
Do I need a 2nd printer. I really want one of these
The answer is yes 😆
Where can I find that purple filament collector
Or just rotate the lens cover over the camera maybe?
I heard you mention the Creality K1. If someone isn't worried about having the option to ever do AMS do you prefer the enclosed or is a bed slinger just fine?
I may have missed it but what are the advantages to getting an enclosed printer? I’m looking for my first one and I don’t want to get a “starter “ for $300 just to realize I need a more advanced one that’s enclosed.
Hey! You do not need an enclosure unless you plan on using filaments like ABS. Most people print with PLA or PETG which doesnt need an enclosure.
I’m looking into getting one. I have a few printers that are always giving me problems. Mostly the bed leveling is my headache of all. But at times I keep losing alignment and I do like the power on resume feature. Might be worth looking into. The cost is what hurts me the most.
With my Bambu printers I never think about the bed leveling. They are pretty great
@@TwoMooseDesign yes that is my biggest headache on my cheaper printers when I’m pulling prints from the plate itself.
Absolutely, definitely frustrating. The qidi q1 pro, flashforge 5m pro, and the Bambu printers are all great
Great video. I went to the A1 website. There is an Accessory Bundle. But, I don’t know what the options are good for. Can you enlighten me? Thanks.
Yeah the key is to definitely print more than one based on others input. Same amount of waste for one vs many.
@@TwoMooseDesignand orientation is key, lots of things have colors mainly on one side, make that the top and I have cut times and changes by a ton. One was 54 hrs to 15.
How much did it cost in materials to print it?
The Darkmoon ICE plate will take care of that resuming issue. You don't even need to heat the bed with it. If you haven't seen that build plate, then you need to.
Interesting I’ll definitely look that up thanks!
Does the a1 come with the color sampler? I haven't seen if it does or not.
Hello there, is it less waste if you print a single colour only?
There’s like no waste only when doing multi colors
Where did you find the filament adapter for the sunlu
I’ve never had or used a 3d printer, I’ve been thinking of getting a a1 or a ender 3 v3 SE. I’ve looked into the a1 mini but I don’t like how small the base is. Are there any other printers I should consider?
Also would prefer if it had some sort of pause feature but idk how common that is in printers
You should be able to pause all modern printers. I personally would buy the regular A1 without the AMS unless you have the budget. You can always add it later
@@TwoMooseDesign thank you so much! I am planning on getting the a1
Please say you didnt buy the ender v3 se over the A1
@@shadbadrkhan7413 I didnt, I changed my mind about getting a printer honestly. But if I ever do im gonna get the A1
Do feel like there's a benefit with the q1 pro's coreXY configuration vs the A1's bed slinger even just for PLA and PETG printing?.
The A1 without AMS lite is about $90 cheaper than the Q1 pro where i live, but with AMS lite its $150 more than the Q1 Pro. Weighing up which is best is tricky given the Q1 is technically more capable in terms of filament types and the Corexy is a "better" configuration.
I'm watching this as I want this printer. I have a toybox, but want to move on. Is there anyway to reuse the waste or purged pla?
Excellent quick tour, thanks. I'm still at the 'considering' stage, but the A1 heads my list at the moment.
Lots of great printers out there! I think the Bambu is definitely one of the best at this price range. Thanks for watching
Do you prefer bed slingers or Core XY machines??
I prefer which one is cheaper = )
It has to be CoreXY, when I print tall models the A1 doesn't give good results at the top. I prefer the cheaper QIDI Q1.
Just ordered one for my 9year old
You guys will love it
I have an A1 mini, it printed a speed benchy with modererate quality in 12min, and my 4 year old Ender 3 printed the same model in 41 mins
That’s awesome! They’ve come a long way in several years
Can the power loss recovery be turned off ?
Are its able to turn off that flushing function when do multi material model just simple use blocker to change a bolora
3:21 "Just shove it in this hole." Twss. Lol
cool vid, got a question? Why are all the cameras on 3d printers so bad? In this day and age, a decent camera is not expensive so it makes no sense unless I'm missing something?
I have no idea, I’m assuming to save money on their end
It's all down to personal preference not a fan of apple but they make a quality product for sure ! bambu a1 is an awesome machine for the money
Always gonna be waste from colour printing unless you spend a load
Agreed and to each their own. Both good printers/ phones on both ends lol
I can sleep when my A1 mini is going, in my room.
That being said, I did set up five alarm clocks, once, then when they went of, I somehow only woke up when they stopped ringing in witch I fell asleep again, forgetting I had set them up, until they went off again, then I got up.
It’s so quiet!
Me too. It is like a white noise generator for my sleep, make me sleep better lol. Of course at reduced 50% speed printing to get lowest noise level
Hey I’m not that new to 3d printing I have 2 now so I’m thinking if I should get a p1s or an a1 3d printer

Doesnt makerworld also have the option for users to upload different filament profiles to reduce settings waste?
I want to print durable keychain prints for my sons band. What filament should I use with my new bambu mini with ams?
Hey! I would use PETG it’s going to be more durable than PLA and withstand the elements better

You’re welcome! PLA might be fine for something like that? Depends how much abuse it will get. I actually think I saw a video on making key chains the other day 🤔
Which Titebond Instant Bond glue are you using in this video? The 6211 or the 6212? Thanks~
I also got the accelerator or activator on order. Thanks. I recently bought 2 - A1 Mini Combos, 1- A1 Mini, and 2 - A1's that are still in the boxes. Gotta set up an Access Point for the WIFI today and soon I will be printing. Now I have 11 3D Printers including 1 MK4 in an enclosure. :) And I figured out the correct part number for the thick is either 6221 for the 2 oz size or 6222 for the 4 oz size. Titebond 6222 Instant Bond CA glue thick 4 oz.
Do the prints come out very smooth like resin models? Or can you still see rough lines on the surface of the models?
you can see rough lines. Just resin have almost no lines.
So you are telling me that for each layer of different color it will switch color and then if another color is in the way it will change and flush color again?
Yes hence why there’s so much waste. You can find videos on how to minimize it
Not sure if I ready that right but it will fill all the color on one layer, purge, fill the remaining color, start the next layer, purge, and then continue to the next color.
Does the QIDI Plus4 have the ability to remove a part if you are printing multiple items and one fails?
I'm a pure android user but I'd venture to apple for this 😂. Personally from the reviews I saw and how many people kept saying they love creality etc. yet kept adding how they changed or added parts and updated stuff and fiddled around with settings everywhere, rather than plain Android it's more like a modded phone with a custom OS hahaha.
Anyhows yeah I got the A1.
Is it true it comes with an sd card with pre made digital models?
And is waste produced when only using 1 roll of filament?
Yes there are files pre loaded on the machine but not like a ton of them. You can go to makerworld.com to find free files. And no it only wastes with multi color this waste can be reduced with setting changes
What's that PTEG you talking about
It’s magical also know as petg
