- Today I'm repairing the bare spots on my lawn with the Proplugger!
Plugging a lawn is a great way to repair bare areas and help them fill in quicker.

A couple of square metres of nursery could be a good idea.
It’s looking off the scale now. Can’t believe this was a field not so long ago. Hats off to you mate 🫵🏻🏌🏻⛳️
Would come if I lived in NSW, should be a good meet up
The green and surrounds are looking schmick mate...is a true testament to your knowledge and work of all things grass...looking brilliant!!!!
Cheers from western Sydney!!!
Ben, that green is looking absolutely amazing, especially in the cold weather, it's looking twice as good, everytime you get it a little more level tbh. Well done. 😊
One day I'm gonna do this. Never worked on a golf course but would love to achieve this
@Tom 😲
In the grand scheme of gardening, this wee Vid shows the eyepopping progress you have made Ben. This looks awesome and you should be so proud. This really does make you want to get out onto your lawn, sadly in Carluke, Lanarkshire, Scotland its raining once again Lol, One can only dream Lol
How good hope you and the boys have a good time hitting some balls into the green would be such a great achievement to finely have some people over to enjoy your hard work with👍
Actually looking very established now, and super healthy 👌
Have you considered seeding the areas that you’ve taken the plugs out of?
OMG mate-looking amazing!!!! Keen to see big doubles or triple Phatt stripes…hope the hitting goes well!!!!
Hope you all have a fab afternoon 😀 I wonder how many miles you've walked cutting grass on the project..!!! It is looking ridiculous 👍👍👌👌
Nice Ben sims 👌👌👌
Hey mate loving the content, question… is there any reason for not reusing the bare patch plugs back into where u pulled the good ones from since there is already organics and roots in them, instead of the new, sterile sand?
Had this same question in my mind … thanks for asking it 👍🏼
Pretty solid dip in the centre I noticed as you pushed the TD over it mate...looks great
can we get some chunky double stripes on the green ? nothing can beat the triplex look of double or tripple thick stripes
This is something else, can you get those stripes a little wider?
This is so nice! I've been sharing your videos with friends.. I hope it helps. You deserve it. Have a great weekend friend! Cheers everyone else! Peace
You got me! Off to the lawn tips shop I go🤑💰
Need that shirt bruh. Add it to your store.
Do you use the clippings as a fertilizer? Or try and spread it on patches that are struggling? I thought the nitrogen in the clippings is good for the grass.
Anyone else notice the rust radiation noise at 5:55 xD
Looking amazing 🤩
Maybe I should try this on my green extension
Does a good job!
Would this have a similar effect on burn patches from canine urine?
So informative, great vid!
Just going off what you were saying with the plugger i have Kikuyu i have slowly been plugging in to my rye lawn area can i still put plugs in just wont grow till October in south australia they shouldn't die should they? Greens looking amazing by the way
Benny, do you think the climate in WA would be okay to plug with wintergreen couch?
Now that you've got the new sprayer, have you thought about doing an extra few laps around the perimeter of the rye to get a head start on all the weeds surrounding the green? I know they'll go when you do the fairway but it would do my head in daily watching them creep towards the apron.
Were your visitors frothing over the green that you mentioned in your last vid?
Would it be counter productive to put the bad plugs into holes instead of sand? Thanks
Green looks SUPER! What sprayer did you use for application? Greetings from Sunny South Africa
Thanks! I use the BA pumps and sprayers Greenskeeper model 👌🏽
Looks great man, green is really filling in nicely. Those edges are tough, you'll get there, but man the color is looking great and it's got good density and roots already. The ryegrass isn't looking bad either, what type do you have out there?
Hey Ben, do you have any future plans for a bunker?
yes he does. Probably over winter thwn the growth dies off
I’m interested to know how well the aggy drains are working now you’re getting some consistent rain?
What is the name of the grass you have on the pitch
Can use plugger with kikuyu? Or only works vertical rooted grass?
Perfect for kikuyu mate its a sideways creeper grass
Is there a particular reason why you filled the holes with sand instead of using the plugs from the bare patch?
So I did use the plugs from the bare patches as well. The sand I used is the same as the green sand. Exact same material 👌🏽
i would like to hear how much it would cost to do this yourself and how much it costs to maintain it.
A few videos ago he said he was 30k into it
How fast is it running now ?¿ 🤔
No comment on the new shirt? Is that deadthreads?
I reckon it is for sure
I just used my Proplugger to remove Poa and some dandelions I killed off with Glyphosate and will be filling those holes with sand next week 👍💚🦸
Mint
Might be a silly question but why didn't you just swap the plugs over instead of filling them with just sand?
Thats what I'm talking about. Time to change the pin, grass will grow over your hole.
You need to air your pond out to get some oxygen in the water.
Yo mate whadup?
Welcome to another
