Definitely need two pins on a green that size. Have an A and B pin, play the 3 tee boxes 3 times and play A, B, A (reverse order tee box for the last 3 holes) for a 9 hole course. Different shots every time from each tee box. Love your work mate!
A place nearby me put out these German Shephard silhouettes all over to keep the ducks and geese off of their property. I guess it worked but it cracks me up when I drive by. Good luck with them. The green is looking incredible.
I have a 1.5 mtr wide lawn rake. I just push it a long and it picks up all the detritus on the lawn. You have duck poop, we have possum poop. Works a treat for that. It’s like a push reel mower but it has brushes instead of blades.
When time comes with showing us more tips Ben, looks like the pin changer might be in need of some tlc/ service. Would you show us your equipment cleaning, servicing and equipment upkeeping? Love ya work boss and greens looking lush at 4mm 😎👍
Hey Ben, with having PRG around the fringe, how do you go when #RonChopper chilli dips and takes a huge chunk out? Do you have to overseed in this situation? I think Ron should come over for the first hole in one comp 😉
@Lawn Tips I saw in your last video about the urea you said the nitrogen alone from it would only promote vertical growth. Is this true in Bermuda/Zoysia as well? What is the best chemical/compound/product is the best to promote Bermuda/Zoysia stolon and rhizome lateral growth? Not a name of a product, but like Humic, Potassium, Kelp, ect ect ect. Cheers from the US!
Can I request a virtual question for Joe at the meet up today? If I have an 45sqm area of Empire Zoysia and there is a 3-4 sqm section that has always struggled due to shade & not getting enough light - could I lay the new Zoysia Australis in this section - would it blend ok with the EZ? Cheers mate
Is there any reason you don’t split the green when you start a mow? (Starting in the middle) when I worked on maintenance at my local course this helped me get super straight lines.
Is there an ideal cutting schedule to have with the green? Like a 'deload' week where you let it get a bit longer than go back to cutting it, or just maintain the 4mm cut consistently
If you're up for another animal, I can guarantee you that a Brittany Spaniel will keep the ducks away. We used them here in the States for Canadian geese and their horrible poop problems .
I was just thinking "get the blower" and then you got the blower... what do ducks hate I wonder.., scarecrows.. plastic fake snakes/ dog statues maybe?
I know absolutely nothing about mowing but this video is class
Nice Ben Sims. 👌👌👌
Loved the funky soundtrack this episode.
👍👍👍
mate, the dance floor is looking unreal 🤙
Looking lush lawn daddy!
Man those 4k closeups of the grass are beautiful. Need more of those!

Very nice! Love to see a few more golf shots into the green and camera angle from the green. Cheers.
You’re like a greenskeeper who gets to actually enjoy his life. I’m so proud of you.
Amazing green!
Can’t wait to see a dummy owl or fox.
Ben, you realise that most people just spend more time on the golf course to better their game, you just build your own course! ....awesome video!
Love your work man would love an update of the Kykuyu and prep for our run into winter 😉
“Not too bad for twelve weeks” - understatement of the year! 😂
I was just saying to myself, I could watch some nice grass, and bam, your vid ws there 🎉
Need to take that stimp reading on a flatter section of green for true results. it should be as close to the same in both directions for accuracy
Impressive! I dig your commitment to the high standard you’re keeping here.

Looks good bro get the robot mower out there to patrol the green and scare the ducks away 😂😂
A few pink plastic flamingos may do the trick keeping the ducks away.
Looks awesome dude! The trees by the green look so nice during Autumn. Great video and really good content man.
A second camera to catch where the ball lands when shooting into the green would be awesome
If only you had a green available to improve your putting… nice one. It’s looking mega!
Love you work mate!!!!
Great vid as always, Ben! I'm doing my first top dressing on our renovated lawn today, and I'm now fully motivated ~ #MowLife !

YESSSSS new vid
Love it!
what is your recommendation for time of day of cylinder mow?
Maybe a motion sensing sprinkler might scare them off?
hey mate - love your videos, thank you so much for the great content!. As an aspiring content creator - what camera and mic do you use?

Is there any reason you don’t split the green when you start a mow? (Starting in the middle) when I worked on maintenance at my local course this helped me get super straight lines.
how do you manage the watering? ...the more you lower the cut the more you water ???

Those clippings are so fine that you can make a tea with it

Man that green is looking crisp, can’t wait to see you build out the fairway and tee box. How long does it play?
Having some beers, watching a guy sweep his grass, cut it 1mm, and pat cows Never change youtube 😁😂
Hey mate what can i use on dog inrine killing my bluegrass ?
An over & under 12 gauge will sort out the ducks 😄
Have you thought about removing one of those trees shading the green?
We have special stuff we spray on the greens to keep ducks away I will find out what is called and let you know asap
Duck 🦆 Off. It’s called.
What about rolling it?

Feel like iv watched the same video 50 times in a row haha
We going to work on the tee box soon?
Plastic/rubber snakes keep the ducks out of our swimming pool.
You should have a second or pin for your green.
Golf swing is looking better
Waiting for 0mm cut
-2mm cut
a stimp meter is 3ft long so you can use it to measure 😮
Yo mate what up!
Maybe couple fake coyote or fox cut outs around the dam edge courses here use them to deter geese
If you're up for another animal, I can guarantee you that a Brittany Spaniel will keep the ducks away.
We used them here in the States for Canadian geese and their horrible poop problems .
Peking Duck is delicious
You probably already answered but can’t you just mow the duck poo and its good fertiliser?
12g works they won't come back. Also could give them to a local restaurant 😅
Let's have some fun with what decoy will keep these ducks from 💩 on the green!!
Trying nice 🐊 crocodile or 🐺 wolf or 🦊fox decoy???
I was just thinking "get the blower" and then you got the blower... what do ducks hate I wonder.., scarecrows.. plastic fake snakes/ dog statues maybe?
Gas gun could work keeps birds off crops
The duck poo is free fertiliser......
Dude

It’s part of the process brother

No matter who you are a three putt is so frustrating.
Send Schnitty out 😂
Shoot the ducks
If only you had somewhere at home to practice your putting 😝
Must be a shame have your own awesome green when you think putting is the part of the game you need to work on 😆
Plastic Black crows keep the ducks out of my pool
