can you please give more money to your creators now; such as the leg-end finchy himself... you are corrupted and spiteful. i don't appreciate this approach. get off my golf.
Pete, this feels like the best golf you've been playing. The fat grips and the silky smooth tempo you've developed. It genuinely seems like you're playing effortlessly. Keep it up!!
I don’t normally comment but this has to be one of the best golf videos I’ve seen of late. Amazing course, golf, video editing and of course, Pete’s commentary throughout. Well done to you and your team 🎉
Definitely done extremely well with the editing LOL First shot clearly lands left of the stake in the first cut, yet he plays his approach to the right of it a metre or so on the fairway. Talk about amazing editing . We call that a leather wedge. 🤣
Hole 3 Finch’s Folly, this course looks phenomenal, you have to go back in 12 months to see how you score compared to this round, excellent video so far
I haven't seen many of your videos but I have heard other RUclipsrs say that you're arguably the best golfer on RUclips, and after watching this I'm starting to agree! That was amazing golf!
You sir, lead a blessed life! To play a pristine course without anyone else in front or behind you HAS to be what heaven is like, no? Great video all around Pete and team! This one literally had a bit of everything.... amazing shots, near misses, great commentary, humor and most imprtantly, TOP SHELF golf. Well done mate, cheers! 🏌⛳🍻
There is nothing better than pulling a putt but realizing you misread it and it drops in for eagle! Great stuff Pete. You have to be big time to be the first person to play a course . Awesome video!
I love " Bent Grass " greens! My old home course has huge greens that were very fast! The course kept them at 11 on the Stimpmeter for everyday play...13 for tournaments. If you didn't like playing in windy conditions....you wouldn't like playing there! It was always windy...except in October and November. For some reason...it was usually pretty calm! I would love to play this course...looks quite challenging!
Your true emotions shine when you are on the course alone. How many times have you laid down on a green wishing for another roll of a silly golf ball!? Magical!
Pete, this is a great course…..lovely to see you at TRC last week, and for such a good cause - try and get an invite to Vidauban in the south of France its very special
Pretty awesome start for a new course! Well dunn, Pete! I too love my Stealth 2+; keep her in the bag! Awesome putting too. Such a cool, unique thing you got to do here-thanks for sharing! Your game is looking good
Beautiful course. Magnificently filmed, well done to you Pete and your guys, fantastic entertainment. Great score and well played. That drivers a dream. Loved the pine cones as tee markers as well.
Been watching Pete for about 5 years and that driver off the deck is the first time I've ever seen him do that. Class content again, another match with bullard is what I'd love to see
Maybe a little bit jealous! Looks like that course will be an absolute belter when it's all bedded in and being played! Very nice golf today too Mr. Finch 🍻
Thanks Pete. Cool to see the new DMK course, and nice 67! If you're looking for another nice round, just a bit south is Costa Terra which has a similar feel, but could be tough to get on it. Although it is you...😄
Especially when he moves the ball 6 feet to the right after his very first tee shot, playing his second from the fairway to the right of the stake, after tracer shows it stopping in the rough to the left of the stake. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Once again lads ,you are setting the bench mark for golfing on youtube. Fantastic footage and use of cameras and drones. I absolutely love the content of your channel. BTW, your swing and striking of the ball is perfection. Continued success to all the team, great work ! Cheers, Noel
Wow... you certainly made the most of that opporunity, some superb golf there, that Driver has to be a keeper. Still absolutely amazed how anyone can hit the ball with grips that thick... must have hands like Wreck it Ralph lol
This is honestly by far Peters best video ever. Absolutely gorgeous course, some moments that makes you smile, he played fantastic, and perfection editing. Love the music for the scoreboard aswell. Well done mate ❤❤❤❤
Every bit of this (the golf, the editing, the graphics, the course, the banter) was tremendous. All of you are really on your "A game" in this one. Thanks for the entertainment and congrats on continuing to take this medium to new levels.
Peter you have one of the most effortless swings in golf, and hit it longer than most for sure. beautiful corse wow. I'm in the states so will probably never get to play it but i felt like i was there . Awesome video , love the channel. I don't comment very often but had to on this one.
I think it's really amazing to be able to say you played the first round on any course, let alone one of such quality. I agree that it has a lot of Pinehurst like style. Well done.
Just give the man his boom stick and turn him loose! You put on a literal clinic on tee shots this round. I've been watching you for awhile now. From what I've seen, I would expect plenty more rounds like this one. It looks to me like the biggest difference has been using your tee shot to put yourself in a position to be more confident with your approach shots. As good as the driver was today, the quality iron play is what took it from a decent round to a great one.
Played Troia GC in 2019 with our boys trip which is just up the road from this one. It has the same feel and looks with lots of waste ground. Looks an amazing course. Great score Pete 👍
Great round Pete. If that doesn't solidify your place in the top tier of You Tube golfers then I don't know what will. Golf the way it is meant to be played!💪🥇🔥
Back 9 greens definitely do look more mature. You can see a more pronounced mowing pattern on them compared to the front 9 greens. Love your tee markers! SHAZAM! Great course record of 67 and cool vid.
Pete and team, what a great video! It looked like you guys were thoroughly enjoying a special opportunity. Fantastic golf played, and what a breathtaking course!
Gotta comment and blow some smoke, this is by far the best golf channel on You Tube, Peter Finch fantastic content and you can tell why you belong at the top pal, very entertaining character, keep it coming Pete!
What a course vlog! Phenomenal course already which is mind blowing to think how good it will become - straight on the bucket list. Love the informal chatty interaction with the crew, makes it feel like the Pod (which is a good thing!) Oh, and I loved the LOTR quote reference :)
Great video, highlight for me, the eagle put at 39 minutes, Oscar performance. Funny how golf looks easy when no-one is around. I enjoyed the encouragements en complements you were getting along the way........ from yourself, very recognisable;0)
As a yankee viewer, I always get super pumped for your videos Pete! After studying in Uk for a year I really enjoy watching your videos across the pond . Not sure if it’s doable but would love to see Pete take on the USA series!
Great video, editing, composition, commentating, and superb golf. This level would take you to the Open! (Almost forgot to mention the host; Lovely court my friend.) That one going to be massive. (Straight on to my bucket list I think.)
I don't think as long as I have been watching you that you haven't hit the driver any better. Great display of driving. Awesome golf course as well. Thanks. By the way very good camera work to the boys.
I believe, this may be the best I have seen u play. Only 2 mishits the whole time and a great recovery off of each shot. You truly play so much better when you are just having fun and cutting up!! Might should have invited Shiels since he doing a break 75 while you are breaking 67!
Can it be a course record, when the course has never even established what par it is yet, what each individual hole par is, or you picking your own yardage off the tee box since there's no tee markers yet 🤔 That being said, love your videos Pete!! And love the idea of the Pine cones being the tee boxes, sprayed painted the tee markers! Hope they roll with that!! Gorgeous course!!
Best golf I've seen you play. Also now that you've set the course record, they have to go with your suggestion of the pine cones for the tee markers (also because it's a great idea).
A course you might not of heard of before is Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club in Perthsire Scotland, amazing views and a tough front 9 with a really nice back 9, quite cheap as well and close to other good golf courses like Blairgowrie and Gleaneagles
Never seen you drive it any better, Peter. Well played. The course looks fantastic. Kind of like Pinehurst but with more receptive greens. Though, I'm afraid I had to deduct some marks for you being so rude to that local fellow, Malcolm. He seemed like such a friendly bug'aroo.😊
Hole 3: Lake Verde - for the sake of a green that makes Jupiter look like a pebble. Hole 4: Dirt Dog - the fairway bunker looked like a dog Hole 6: Vistas - the hole looks absolutely picturesque - imagine a warm Southern evening with the sun setting over the green, absolutely incredible
Stunning golf course. The layout was beautiful and it did not seem that it would to hard to play for amatuers. And I must say you played quite well Pete.. Great video mate!!!!
Love the video, such an amazing course! Being a numbers guy, seeing that make percentage graphic from hole 7 made me happy. Seeing that pros only hole around 23% from that distance makes me feel much better about my putting. Maybe include them more often?
When a butterfly flaps its wings on the fairway, it can cause Peter Finch's putt to be short an inch. Beautiful course, your drives have been sensational with the Stealth, and I must admit I quite enjoyed the lesson on grass divot root science. I looked on your channel and was wondering if you ever played the Banff Springs Golf course in Alberta, Canada?
Well played Pete! Gotta agree, you seem to be really playing well. Swing looks really effortless. Keep up the good work with the team and the great vids.
What a buzz to do that! Mate driving was solid, but your distance control into the greens was pretty sharp, and you were dialed in on the lines early on as well.
Having watched your videos since you were at Tratfod to now, this is probably my favorite piece of content you have out. The change in the editing and cinematography over the years to now is just phenomenal. It's still about golf, just not all about golf in a way.
If you come back to the US in the summer play The Loop. Its very similar to this course but completely different. Weiskopf design. Also need to play Arcadia Bluffs. Both in Michigan and well worth it
Well Done Mr. Finch!!! Having played two of David Mclay Kidd's courses (Bandon Dunes and Tetherow) what you did was no easy feat! I lived near Bend OR, and what I can see in Dunas Course is one that is similar (NOT identical) to Tetherow. It may be fun to hear your take on it if you ever get a chance to play it. Bandon Dunes is very much a Links course, and Tetherow seems to have some of that feel, but is very different in look as well.
Fabulous course and your game was in great shape...bombing drivers, irons dialed in and the new putter seems to have given you a burst of confidence. Anybody yet to play you in BGOYT had better watch out! A very reasonable new course record for other to target too
I played MB National with my father in law on July 4th about fifteen years ago. We saw one other guy on the course all day. That remains my favorite round ever.
Absolutely brilliant looking course and you struck the ball as good as I've seen you play. It's a course that would be too hard for someone of my ability but love seeing you attack these challenging layouts. 😊
Great production and beautifully filmed, great credit to you Pete and your team. That’s some course as well and what a privilege to allowed to play the first round at it and what a great round it was. That stealth 2 driver is turning into a bit of a beast.
Peter Finch!! Possibly the best video you've ever posted - and that's saying something. This is amazing content - I love that you just get better and better - keep it up! Highlight of my Friday pm - cheeky 9 holes after work then catch up with Finchy with a glass of wine. The production quality of this is 5* as is the content - you deserve so many more subscribers and surely many more will subscribe after watching the quality of this. Absolutely outstanding!
Pete, just started watching the video, but how on earth did you swing this opportunity????😲 Looking forward to this one - congrats on your fantastic progress - may it long continue 👏🏻👍🏻👏🏻 500k by the end of the year???🤩

being the first person to play at a course is such a flex 🔥
Damn, the youtube Summer trainee is really commenting on everybodys videos today 😂👏
Being confirmed @youtube is such a flex too
can you please give more money to your creators now; such as the leg-end finchy himself...
you are corrupted and spiteful.
i don't appreciate this approach.
get off my golf.
Pete, this feels like the best golf you've been playing. The fat grips and the silky smooth tempo you've developed. It genuinely seems like you're playing effortlessly. Keep it up!!
The graphics and editing on your videos have taken your content to another level! Great video!
Ty, the boys have been doing great things
Pete smelling the grass and saying he can smell chloroform, think you meant chlorophyll 😂
Proof that he’s smelled to much chloroform 🤪🤪😂😂
Pete, what you do on your weekends is none of our business mate!
Great content as always.
I don’t normally comment but this has to be one of the best golf videos I’ve seen of late. Amazing course, golf, video editing and of course, Pete’s commentary throughout. Well done to you and your team 🎉

This was a good round and lovely for other people to say that
Could be… I think Crossfield is there as well. How he is able keep up with pro’s in a matchplay, is quite impressive.
You sir, lead a blessed life! To play a pristine course without anyone else in front or behind you HAS to be what heaven is like, no? Great video all around Pete and team! Wow what a wonderful piece of land. Sculptured to perfection...
Pretty awesome start for a new course! Well dunn, Pete! I too love my Stealth 2+; keep her in the bag! Awesome putting too. Such a cool, unique thing you got to do here-thanks for sharing! Your game is looking good
Nice course for a nice game. Strong player you are.Never doubt on your game. The finch still fly very high.
lovely golf trip for you.👍👍👍
You've got it all Pete, the game, the banter, the team, the stunning venues you get to play, and of course the looks 😂. Best channel on youtube for me
Beautiful course. Magnificently filmed, well done to you Pete and your guys, fantastic entertainment. Great score and well played. That drivers a dream. Loved the pine cones as tee markers as well.
This has to be one of the best looking courses I have ever seen. Thanks Pete for the showcase!
Strong work Pete! Looks like the 2-ball helped with the putting and you’re at one with the Stealth 2. Onwards and upwards!
Finchy mate! Best golf. Best video i've seen in many years. Pure joy. Thanks for the good start to the weekend.
Been watching Pete for about 5 years and that driver off the deck is the first time I've ever seen him do that. Class content again, another match with bullard is what I'd love to see

Pinehurst CC was my home club for many years and this definitely reminds me of a couple of the courses there. Gorgeous.
I love that you look like you are having so much fun. I'm going to steal some of that energy for my round tomorrow. 👍😁
I love what your doing with the filming and editing, shot angles, on screen titles, makes the video so much more emersive
Especially when he moves the ball 6 feet to the right after his very first tee shot, playing his second from the fairway to the right of the stake, after tracer shows it stopping in the rough to the left of the stake. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Amazing to watch. You are a very fortunate fellow. Keep up that awesome rhythm. Great ball striking mate!
This is definitely one of my favourite videos you've ever produced. Fast paced, great energy, quality golf. Thanks Pete and team!
Wow... you certainly made the most of that opporunity, some superb golf there, that Driver has to be a keeper.
Gotta name #2 "Tentilhão." That's "finch" in Portuguese to commemorate the course's first ever eagle!
Every bit of this (the golf, the editing, the graphics, the course, the banter) was tremendous. All of you are really on your "A game" in this one. Thanks for the entertainment and congrats on continuing to take this medium to new levels.
Crazy how much it looks like Pinehurst and other southern U.S. courses.
Peter you have one of the most effortless swings in golf, and hit it longer than most for sure. beautiful corse wow. I'm in the states so will probably never get to play it but i felt like i was there . Awesome video , love the channel. I don't comment very often but had to on this one.
A good scent is always what I'm looking for in my tee markers.
The course looks beautiful and in keeping with the surrounding area of Comporta which is a phenomenal place in its own right.
You are a lucky boy Mr Finch. To christen a course like that. Great golf too. 👏🏻👏🏻
I think it's really amazing to be able to say you played the first round on any course, let alone one of such quality. I agree that it has a lot of Pinehurst like style. Well done.

That’s impressive golf. Beautiful course and I don’t think it’s as easy as you’ve made it look.
Loving the 'black keys' music vibe between each hole.
Too loud
Pete and team, what a great video! It looked like you guys were thoroughly enjoying a special opportunity. Fantastic golf played, and what a breathtaking course!

This course needs crowned greens like Pinehurst to be complete. The golf and video are great. This course will be a destination for sure.
Easily the best golf I've ever seen you play, great stuff.
Been watching you and Matt Fryer's videos for two days. Great content, good golf and much better than NETFLIX ---- keep them coming !!!!!
As a yankee viewer, I always get super pumped for your videos Pete! After studying in Uk for a year I really enjoy watching your videos across the pond . Not sure if it’s doable but would love to see Pete take on the USA series!

Hole 15. "Looks like birdie's back up on the menu, boys!"....what a hoot! Well played Pete, nice round!
The course really looks like it could be in the sand hills near Pinehurst, NC. Beautiful!
Can it be a course record, when the course has never even established what par it is yet, what each individual hole par is, or you picking your own yardage off the tee box since there's no tee markers yet 🤔
That being said, love your videos Pete!! And love the idea of the Pine cones being the tee boxes, sprayed painted the tee markers! Hope they roll with that!! Gorgeous course!!
Class golf Pete, great watch . . . I like the make percentage on the putts nice touch
Best golf I've seen you play. Also now that you've set the course record, they have to go with your suggestion of the pine cones for the tee markers (also because it's a great idea).
Best Driving Round I’ve seen from you Pete, well done 👍!
Fab golf fab course, glad you changed your putter so much improvement 😀
A course you might not of heard of before is Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club in Perthsire Scotland, amazing views and a tough front 9 with a really nice back 9, quite cheap as well and close to other good golf courses like Blairgowrie and Gleaneagles

I loved the sniffing of the grass! What a thorough course review!!!
Had to smile at the driver off deck.
Shows that even the best can duff it. Doh..
Great coarse great video 👍
😂😂😂 You actually quoted one of my favourite LOTR line and made golf related 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 made my morning Pete 👌🏽
Looking forward to seeing Malcolm on the podcast, guys. Great video…you’re smashing it this year!
Stunning golf course. The layout was beautiful and it did not seem that it would to hard to play for amatuers. And I must say you played quite well Pete.. Great video mate!!!!

The whole package, the course, the golf, the videography, the editing and your commentary is outstanding. Congratulations to the whole team.

One of your best shows yet. Great atmosphere and positivity……and great golf (nice up and down on 18!)
If you come back to the US in the summer play The Loop. Its very similar to this course but completely different. Weiskopf design. Also need to play Arcadia Bluffs. Both in Michigan and well worth it
This was fantastic … loved the golf, commentary and humour!
Keep it up! 🎈
Great video Pete.
I still don't understand why you don't have the subs that Rick does.....you are by far the better golfer, and more likable.
Cheers.
very enjoyable to watch, some beautiful shots played
A very reasonable new course record for other to target too
Holy moly Peter, you were a driving MACHINE! Never seen you drive the ball better. You had game that day my friend.
I played MB National with my father in law on July 4th about fifteen years ago. We saw one other guy on the course all day. That remains my favorite round ever.
What a course! Hope you go back in a few years to check it out when it's all finished.
A beautiful course and played very well. Love the bigger grips
That is an amazing track and you Sir Peter shot an AMAZING round, Driver was ON!!!!!!
Pete, just started watching the video, but how on earth did you swing this opportunity????😲
Looking forward to this one - congrats on your fantastic progress - may it long continue 👏🏻👍🏻👏🏻
500k by the end of the year???🤩
Well played mate. 👏🏽
You’ve got such a fantastic rhythm in your swing #TopDraw 🔥
What a cool course, feels a little like a Pete Dye. Isn't it amazing how golf teaches humility, one moment you feel like you can't do wrong, the next it's like you've never played the game. 39:21 😱 how did that stop?
Hole 2; "the Finch Eagle" ;) the course looks incredible, one to add to the bucket list :D (although 250yd for a par 3 is a bit mental :o)
Great golf all round today! That ladybirdie on 16 was inspired! Loved the video!!
Peter, this is your best video to date! Love it! Gorgeous course. Great eagle on #2. Amazing!
Stunning golf course will definitely be on my bucket list to play
Absolute class Pete as always! Imagine if you landed in a divot?? Nobody to blame!
