Hi I have a 200 sq m of a factory carpark of crushed rock with weeds and bindi continuously having to be sprayed with round up any suggestions to apply something to prevent those weeds etc from growing? Thanks in advance
I believe PGR stops seed heads from appearing ? My client has Tiff Tuff it has seed heads. I applied PGR yesterday here in Melbourne. I laid the turf back in March. Mow in every 7 to 10 days, and since growing season, seed heads have shot up.
close to melbourne, seed head is popping up because of the erratic weather patterns we are having. 30 deg days back to sub 10 degrees over night is not helping
There is another comment here in relation to the warning label on fertility so I checked ours and it’s written in bold. Also need to wear full PPE. Due to us having young children who play on our lawns we won’t be using it. If anyone in the northern Redlands area of QLD who wants to buy an unopened bottle let me know.
Can't really stop it tbh, try dog rocks or a dollop of Greek yoghurt with their dinner Otherwise water the spots they pee right after they do it (which is almost impossible obviously) Set your sprinklers to run every morning for a minute after you've let your dogs out because they probably pee then For repair you can just put some kelp and water in a watering can and go over the areas to promote regrowth, or plug the areas But unfortunately that's dogs for ya
I’m in Scotland and started using Primo Maxx II on my Rye/Bent/Fescue lawn and it worked great. Cutting was reduced from 2-3x weekly to 1x every 10 days in the height of summer.

After spraying, how long until it’s rain-safe? 2 hours? 4 hours?
Did u start any of the projects you wanted to do over winter? 😂 tee boxes and irrigation? How bout the spriging of the tiftuf
Can you fertilise five days later after applying PGR?
Is that lower rate at the start of every season or just its first ever application?

The original primo maxx did have mention of that. I don’t sell that product anymore hence why I only have Astro available and primo maxx II on the way

Is this PGR Ethrel or Moddus based?
I didn’t think you were meant to do it in sunlight especially when it’s hot . I might be wrong I’m a lorry driver lol
Is Growing days just for PGR?
Ours says use can affect your fertility. Be careful letting the kids on that grass. You never no the long term affects of these chemicals. 😢
They use it on every golf course. So if you play golf ya stuffed anyway
