It's a great tool. I carry a bucket for my plugs and a bucket with top soil in it. So as I'm pulling my plugs, I dump it in the plug bucket, put my plugger back in the hole and take a scoop of top soil and dump it down the plugger, fills the hole perfectly. Also great tool for planting bulbs, has a depth ring you can put on to control the depth of the hole or plug pulled. Thanks for sharing Connor.
Great video as always! I have a reserve area like a golf course that’s in the corner of my lawn that is rarely seen. I take plugs and cut out entire pieces of turf and transplant it to areas that need it and are commonly seen. Just a thought, instead of making holes in the areas that you see all the time.
When you did your video on your backpack blower, I took your advice and bought a still blower it's a handheld but it pulls super easy to start and it has way better power and my corded electric blower. Thanks Connor This is my favorite machine for leaves .
Awesome review and tool. I need to get one of these for sure. I have a few dead spots in my yard, and a lot of spots around my yard where the grass is growing great but I don’t want it there anyways. Seems like a win win for me.
Just did a full renovation this fall with KBG and PRG. Lots of weak spots still, and I don't think my new grass would be ready for plugging next spring. Thinking of growing my own KBG plugs indoors in small pots to transplant into the weak spots in early spring.
What are you doing with your big Toro ride on Reel Mower for Winter, putting in the Garage or Winterizing it and leaving it out? Can't wait for you to get back into action next season Connor.
Hey Connor, are plugs better than sod? I've heard of landscapers that grow sections of turf strictly for transplants. You certainly got plenty of healthy lawn! I don't think I've ever seen you use a sod cutter!
I’m just curious how does the blue grass spread or fill in when there are no chutes? I got St Aug here in Jacksoville FL. So I get the chutes that spread all out. But I thought blue grass is totally different? I’m confused.
Very cool tool. Love the Ted's of Beverly Hills Hoodie (Ted Bell - quite a character). You and Ryan Knorr both have small dogs, how do you keep the dog(s) from destroying your lawn when they go #1 on the lawn?
Nothing I can do but deal with a spotted lawn. My dog mainly only goes in the backyard. I deal with it. Nothing really I can do. Ted Bell... Ha ha. So nice to hear that others know what the sweatshirt is. "where we want to put our meat in your mouth" (in jingle song)
Does not work at all for me. I wasted $40 on this junk. I live in Florida and I tried it on St Augustine, Bemuda, and Bahai. It makes beautiful holes in your lawn and a tube full of dirt.
Will you please seed those bare areas so I can stop watching the new best looking yard on the youtubes Ryan Knorr. I'm guessing by the progress from last year it will take 2 years to fill in by itself
I did about 2k plugs in my front yard with the ProPlugger....saved me a a LOT of cash vs buying sod. GREAT tool!!
Agree. Such an awesome tool
I love the Pro Plugger. I literally cut hundreds of plugs this summer to help my bermuda fill in. Worth every penny and then some.
Agree. Such a great tool

It’s a handy tool to have around in the garage. Great for planting bulbs, too.
Yes. So useful

Exactly. Otherwise, robbing Peter to pay Paul. LOL
Used that thing to dig holes for my flowers this year. Precise and simple.

The Pro Plugger is da bomb! Looks like someone got a new snowblower! No skid steer snow stories this winter.
snow season is not my season.. If I HAVE TO deal with it.. lets deal with it in style.
@@lawnrebel I can always count on you to deal with things in style.
One of the best how-to channels on the Utubes. Look forward to your winter projects buddy.
incoming.

Buying one of these finally. Hey pal, miss seeing your videos!
First Aussie 😁. Thanks for the plug for the pro plugger , Connor. 😎
I see your name a lot in the comments 😎🤘aussie too
Ben, good day to you. Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi. 🇦🇺
George, good Saturday afternoon to you. 😎🍺☕️👊
Terrific video and lawn Connor! Unbelievable looking lawn.
It's such an amazing tool.

Are those bare spots nothing but sand? That's what it looked like to me. Have you tried putting down some topsoil and seed on those spots?
just bought one off your site, exactly what I need, slowly transitioning my backyard from fescue to St Aug...thanks!
I need a pro plugger for my head. 🤷🏼♂️🇺🇸
Wouldnt seeding the dead spots fill in quicker?
Not with kbg. I would say plugging gives you about a 2 month head start at least
Connor, why not pull plugs from an area that is out of the way instead of your front yard?
The 40 question challenge. I know your spin on this would be priceless💰 Long time subscriber Jerry O’Dell
Yes I need to do this.
How long does it take to fill in? Thanks.
That sweatshirt is legendary.
Yes it is. So glad that someone else knows what it is
@@lawnrebel lets see the back? Lol
What are you doing with your big Toro ride on Reel Mower for Winter, putting in the Garage or Winterizing it and leaving it out? Can't wait for you to get back into action next season Connor.
Not sure yet. I will likely put it in my garage.
Can you use the plugger to try and get rid of your poa spots?
Nice Connor
Yeah that plugger is sweet! Great video Connor!
Love all your vids!!!
I literally did the same thing to my head a year ago.... If it works for the body it will work in the grass
yes. works so well
Cool shoes 👟 my dogs been barking! Looking forward to more

I need me one of those. Work good on bluegrass?
Yes. Works fantastic in bluegrass. This is what I have
Looking good Ward!
Success considering the lawn surfer.
I’m just curious how does the blue grass spread or fill in when there are no chutes? I got St Aug here in Jacksoville FL. So I get the chutes that spread all out. But I thought blue grass is totally different? I’m confused.
It spread via rhizomes under the soil.
I like your work boots.
ALWAYS wear the proper work attire and safety equipment when working in the lawn.
connor, strange question, where do you get your pants from? that 5 pocket style is sharp
This will only work with kgb? Or will it work with rye?
Any grass that spreads it will work well with.
Yeah what midnight monoculture said. Rye not so much because it doesn't creep to good
Hey Conor, After all the snow mold last winter have you thought about putting down a fungicide?
Yes I am going to in about a week or so
@@lawnrebel what product you going to use?
Looks like you have a nice 3/4" sand cap. Is that fairly consistent across the yard?
Yes front and side. Not so much the back
Wait until Mr Knorr Chimes in about sand caps :-)
Hi Connor! Lawns looking good :)
Looking forward to some good shed times next year!

Do you ship to the UK
Not likely. Merch yes. Pro plugger not likely
Ill take one and 3 bags of Milo please
I thought I read where fine fescue does creep ?
....thinking about blending some in to my KBG in shadier spots
(DISCLAIMER) For this method to work folks you got to hammer the turf with fert so it will spread and then keep up on the mowing
True
Why do you have such a hard time growing grass in those spots?
I expected a dark spot where you rinsed the sprayer out . Lawn looks awesome though.
It's been too cold and the grass is dormant
that one spot off the front left of your house really struggles. wonder if there is something underneath like a septic tank or something.
bad water coverage
@@lawnrebel ah gotcha 👍
If you get bored you can cut some rings around those trees in your front
Wondering if the plugger would make good hamburger patties? Good stuff mate! Cheers
Yes. Makes pretty good burgers
Dude Teds of Beverly Hills #PhilHendrieisAwesome
That's how you plug a pro plugger like a pro.
I’ve converted my entire 25000sqft yard from weeds to zoysia using plugs
Appears that the lawn rebel logo needs an update....mustache + mullet
Genius. 🤔
get you some sand top dress that yard lol
you didnt mention why you have dead spots...grub worms, moles, acid levels?
Maple trees makes plugging my yard a unsatisfying no-go fail.
I really this would work with st Augustine... 😭😭
Mr Ward dont you think its a Pretty contrasting title for not a "how to" channel?
Look like someone's getting a permanent lookie-loo across the street!
#pisseroffer
What the hell is with that stupid spot!? 😆 I wanna fly over there and dig it out for ya
DING
I may have to buy one to steal some plugs from your yard, and then sell them to your viewers for about $10 a plug 😜
Repurposed for cash sounds better 😎
Second
Subd
Success = Covered before winter
ProPlugger $160AUD = Sorry but mmm NO!!
Hold on a minute.... Teds? You have some explaining to do. 🤥

I have seeded those areas like 4 times. The seed just keeps washing away. I will do it again in the spring
Excellent "not a how to" on how to do plugs...
HA HA... yes this is correct
Definitely not a how to video 😂😂
